Since a thread has not been started, I'll try to do a very simple one!

We've seen this event before. Everything is on the Bahamarama Plantation - that is where you plant event crops and get drops.

    Event crops:
Catilpoca - 4 hour growing time, less water/manure/other buffs. Need total of 11,380
Suneye - 8 hour growing time, less water/manure/other buffs. Need total of 5980
Sickle and Hammer - drop item from crops and trees on plantation. Need total of 1660

You decide which crop to start with and have to finish growing the entire number needed, plus a total of 820 drops before you can start on the 2nd crop. You are given 5 treasure maps to use in mill to produce starter seeds; this is replenished every 5 hours so you can either mill more of the current crop or save them for starting the 2nd crop. You can increase the number of treasure maps you'll have to mill the 2nd crop - this process has been explained before and I'll leave that for someone else to explain here, or provide a link to it.

The challenge in this event is getting enough drops from the same field that you have to plant event crops - and it is a lot of drops!

Best of luck to all who are attempting this event. I tried to be as simple (and fast) as I could, so please feel free to correct/embellish, etc.

Thanks Solatido for crunching the numbers. I'm going to give it a go but it is a LOT of drops especially from a 4hr crop. The cloud row appeals to me but I won't lose any sleep if I don't finish.

Thank you, Solatido ! I have started with 4 hrs crop. Drops required is a lot, I agree.

Thank you for starting the thread :)

Yes, this event mechanic needs drop strategy. I chose the 8 hour crop to start with as I have some things going on here at home that may prevent me from harvesting the 4 hour often enough.

    Drops so far: 344

A special mention to my friends and neighbors who have sent gifts. They are most appreciated :) Best wishes to all who do the event no matter what your goal is.

I aim for the Cloud row only. I would normally like the Piccolo box, but this mechanic is tough and I'm not looking to be stressed at this time. Real life is challenging enough. I put massive effort into the Great Chase event earlier in the month and I'm not looking to repeat it again so soon.

    To gain drops I use

    Lablab-Bean (19:00 hrs) +
Healing Ointment (silver slot, -4%) +
Essence of Wisdom (silver slot, -6%) +
Tiki Timer (buff, no slot, -20%) +
    water (-20%) +
    manure (-10%) = 9:35 hrs grow time (= 2 harvests per day)

Plantation, 188 plots provide +/- 150 drops (without howies) per harvest.

When this isn't enough you might speed it all up with Super Grow. I don't.

Thanks Solatido for starting this thread. ;)

I am in for as far as I can go. I have a lot of free time this week so have started with the 4 hour crop using as much SG and SSG as I can to speed this part up, leaving enough to get the 8 hour crop off to a good start (trying hard to accumulate as many starter seeds as poss of course). I could finish but next week will be a little trickier so I will be happy to get close! :music:

I didn't really plan for the drops though I did have a 20 hour crop planted (which I had watered!) and so far I have about 400. Not bad, methinks. :p
    Good luck all! :)

Thanks for starting the thread dear @Solatido :) I started this activity with an 8 hour activity plant. But I don't think I can complete!

I started with Ixora (24 hour crop), 2 Howie Donuts, Living Legend 30/30, and whatever pet/cloud row that improves drops that would have been active (didn't keep track), and got 150 drops from initial harvest. Would have expected it to be better but so it goes.

Thanks habalala for the names of the buffs. I typically activate buffs from the buff menu and they don't have names. The tooltip just gives you the benefit when you hover over them so to activate the veggie buffs you mention, I would go to my inventory and search from there. I recognize them by picture but that means scrolling and scrolling. You naming them makes me be able to do a search and then activate. Thanks. :)

As I am not planning on doing the 2nd half, I think I'm ok with the drops I'm getting to be able to finish with cloud row step.

Only going to the halfway point on this farm and PM23's. SL's farm is almost done with the whole shebang. I think this next harvest will do it, although all the buffs have run out, so might take one more harvest.

Crop requirement for second half (4 hour) is ridiculous.

I had thismia growing (20.5 hour crop) and got about 150 drops without my 3 Howies (forgot to put them out! :wuerg:)
With my 3 Howies, I've gotten about 50 drops per Suneye harvest (8 hr). I think I will be about 150 drops short just growing Suneye, so tonight I will try @habalala 's strategy for drops. thanks so much for posting that.

yeah, not sure about 2nd half. Over 11K crops from one field is overwhelming! just over 20 harvests with CAC - with water and manure, that's almost 57 hours if you harvest on time every time. And that's after the Suneye taking 11 harvests, about 62 hours AFTER getting the starter seeds to a full field. Then you absolutely have to do something else to get enough drops! So, this event is pretty much impossible to finish unless you get bonus crops from somewhere.

OH, don't forget that this is the last event that you can use this season's coins. I have enough to get +1 crops on two harvests.

Started 4h plantings. Ixoras+trees, 164 small plots give me 163 drops, thats "good" I think. 4h plant, with water and manure 2h53mins after 10+100+164 "quick-start" and now I have (only) 411 drops. CR is coming yes, not so usefull but coming, piccolo seems to be too much for me!

You don't need to complete the event in full. It is enough if you do the first 6 steps, you will get the cloud row with its EP Givers. The rest 6 steps are optional and give the already gotten rewards once again.

I forgot the tiki timer, habalala ! :p

And then the Drops... now 533... auts ! Lab-lab Bean is already claculated above this message.

Coyote 15h (because ready just after my saturday-sauna)
=> Water - Manure - EssenceOfFreedom - HealingOintment - TikiTimer => 7h 29min (about, closed my farm already.. from memory)

Thanks Solatido for the calculation. I started with the 4 hour plant, the drops seem to be a bit of a problem. Since I don't have a Tiki timer transmitter I have to wait longer. I wish success to everyone involved.

Yes, I can get the cloud queue maybe. I wish I could finish the event for the "piccolo box" at the end.. But it is impossible!

I have completed the 8 hour crop requirements. I have 701/810 drops needed for the cloud row. I have put in a long overnight crop with the hope that tomorrow morning's harvest will be enough to be done.

Tomorrow's first harvest will be halfway through the event making it possible to continue to grow crops and have a good drop strategy, but I'm sticking with my original plan and stopping with the cloud row.

Tomorrow is a big day for me and part of my self-care will be to have 'easy' farming :)

Still wishing you all the best as you work on this event. :)

CR up and running. I just planted 40 seeds of shorter plant to continue as far as I can.
Do not forget to stash Treasure maps in long mill queues.

I once again messed up. I started the second part of the event but milled the first event crop instead of the second one. So 25 seeds gone. Yesterday I forgot to save 15 seeds, they were gone too. :p

So I put out Lablab-Beans for drops for the second part. That's the best I can do.

CR up and running. I started with the Catlipoca 4hr crop. I am now growing the 8hr Suneye to see if I can reach the piccolo box,
getting the crops grown is not a problem for me BUT the drop rate is just awful, in my humble opinion! Good luck, I hope we all reach our goals!

I got the cloudrow and started growing catlipoca but I agree with everyone else, the drop rate is very low for the high requirements.
