This is my relatively poor farm So I bought 20 cowsheds and 20 horse stables here. I have sold some of the cows and horses to make out the money I had to spend. So my capital of 1 million is back again

Thank you both, it is my mistake, it is adjusted as Julie1013 said, this effects the number of horses and power feed, so they are adjusted also, the amount of horses is 264 now and the power feed is also 264, so the breading requirements are 264 of each (cows, horses, PF) until BBD comes which probably reduce these figures by half, my apologies for that mistake and good luck for you all doing this event.

Sorry for the confusion. I was not clear enough.

The thirty is what you need to finish the Noah's ark quest, a permanent timed quest in the farmer's society. That quest is one of the quests that is based on production products, you cannot buy them. Easiest to let the pens come close to maturing, start the quest, harvest, then run another round. I, personally, have therefore used that as a basic "baseline". But I would definitely not say that is any firm rule or general strategy. It really has no bearing on this event, except that it is a lot quicker to produce several cows/horses at once. Also, even if you get your base number, the prices are going to be very high, so its the best time to sell your cows for a profit. I disagree a tad with mooboy, I grow mostly animals, because the prices tend to be higher in my market, but that is one of those personal choice matters. People differ in their choices, there is no "set" way to play.

Per space... you should have enough room for 30, just not with everything else. One thing you may not realize.. you can easily remove and replace items. If you delete a pen, for example, it goes into storage. You can then bring it out any time. It can be a bit of a pain to constantly shift what you have in your farm, but it is the best way to take advantage of prices and events. Typically, I grow what I need during breeding events, then let the pens "rest" an extra round, to build up my stock. Then I concentrate on what I need that is not for the event as long as the BBD remains.

Per the price... the pens are not cheaper during events, its just that they can be cheaper than the price of the animals themselves, sometimes. Even if not, its cost effective to buy a few more during events needing them, because you can sell the extras for a profit.

One recent event, maybe the Easter event, grapevine had the crops wrong at first, but then got it right shortly beforehand. Overall, though, its good to watch the hints.

Missed this earlier, thank you for the correction. Sometimes the stables even cost less than buying an animal during events, but even if the prices don't spike that high, you can earn back your CC pretty quickly, as you said.

It is still there. As a matter of fact both list are there. Table format of farhana is a bit more easier for reference. Especially the first one- for me. It helped me place mill orders and the rest apples I sold and still selling after reserving 72 apples for event feed.

Apple price are soaring and I think they are reaching new heights. In my market, it's now selling for 94 CCs and above.

i wanted to get it started without BBD and guess what because of the Rune opened on the wisdom tree i was able to receive 4 standard animals anyway. i got all the animals i needed. it is just milling for me with still bonus of half off on the time. i don't have to breed any more. just building my animals now on magical glade. milling can keep going and i will for sure finish this event too. I am milling big chunks at once, since there is no real advantage to finishing levels early. (I have the harvester already, and enough PF to go).

 

Total count of cows+horses in my barn ATM: 120+120, 40+40 on precess. Still have 360+360 feeds
Looks like I am gonna sell more in the market soon

 

I did not mean to make a confusion, this post was started under the name of Rodeo babies strategies advice, and no one posted the full requirements at the time, it started about power feed, I was doing my calculations then though of posting it, but the name stopped me from posting it there, so I thought better to open a new thread, now the threads are merged, the name is adjusted, the word advice was removed from the title and the posts are arranged time wise so the list of full requirements fell into page two, that's how things started, sorry for the confusion.

I intend to do the whole event. Got all the crops and base animals and enough PF. I like the rewards for this event,one Green Mateato alone would cost around 100,000 CC's on my market. We're also being given MOS and the ever useful CAC and we've got the stars back!

 

Oh, no Woody, it was me trust me.
One I have goals in my head, two I am trying to figure what I need to play at the next level, three reading the forum hurts my brain. Mix these, add a teaspoon of noob, and a shake of dreaming while reading, = me reading what I want to hear.

This is a breeding event, just up the road from where I should be, So, I took advantage of the players here to help me figure out what should be my goals, before I play into any one area, As you said goal of 30 pens, will not be going out today and getting 30 but it woke me up my 3 pens are not going to get me far.

It is not one thing that will see me getting in the breeding events, but as pointed out by all of you it will be a mix of many elements, ie: jellies floral, not too sure on bake goods yet need more reading, pens, stalls and alot of animals, a whole lot of animals. Just tried to do the math on how many base animals needed to get an end animal,ie: art turkey, 64 regular animals to make a next level then, add 64 regular again while making the 4 new ones into the next level..... my brain quit.

And thank the forums, I forgot to factor in the PF all together, I need a lot of work, rethinking my whole farm ways.
I really would have liked to do this one, had fun on the last one my first event, but so not ready.
But now made some buys, invested into the farm reworked some things and now I will be producing more.
Just wish I would have come to the forums before opening the parrot stone, would have gone monkey, hard mistake.

 

You have to open the parrot statue before you can open the monkey statue, so no mistake there
