I have nearly finished making all the feed, will be finished today on Illy and on this farm by tomorrow when I hope the BB weekend will be announced. Please, pretty please BP!

 

I hope I am not the only one that keeps sneaking back to look at the O/A to see if they have announced a Baby Boom Day

 

No you are not Kmellish, I peak every 2 hours, and I have that worm, I could not wait, so I started breeding with small quantities, just warming up for BBD.

 

It The Past Baby Boom Mini Event Always starts on Friday runs for 48 Hours. It Always comes couple days after a new Breeding Event Starts it always been that Trait. If I am right it will start tomorrow. So I wait until it starts then get our Breeding Motels out and do Happy Breeding.

For Brown Cow as selling for good price for 1st Level Breeding Cow, So I will be using Base Cows for Breeding to gain any breeding cows, and gain those calves too.

For Breeding Horses I think that i will be using Halflingers as I got a Good Stock of Them. Any Base Horses I get back will be sold back to the Markets. I will also sell Cows that are Surplus once i have got all the Fouls I need.

Hope to Find So Breeding Bargain Animals in the Markets. We see how it goes. In the Mean Time I Keep growing Cows and Horses surround by Rare Fruit Trees. Then Replace some of them with Breeding Motels. Once I finish Milling Pear Farnia I try to mill as many Power Feeds as I can

 

LOL abubadi, I am sooooo tempted, but am determined to hold out for BB .... if there is one ... will be left sucking lemons if there is not ... Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but I find that on BBD's, I am more likely to get really good skips if I have no higher level breeding animals. For example, I had donated all my coloured monkeys to quests, so started again just with basic monkeys, I immediately got a gorilla and a tikki monkey .... then for a while nothing particularly special. Next BBD, I made sure I only had basic monkeys again, straight away I got the good skips. I put them on the market and went back to just basic monkeys straight away again .... and yet again got the good skips. I have done this several times with different animals and it does seem to work. .... probably the wrong thread to put this in, so apologies if that is the case.

 

I keep looking for "the" OA too! Whenever my brain stops thinking about other things! So that's every couple of seconds then!

I try to only breed regular animals now. Coloured ones are more valuable and also any skip is a good skip, I think that's my logic anyway! I can't say that I notice any real pattern to skips - too excited when I get a good one to see what I did to get it lol!

Not long now everyone ... I will wait cos I love all those extra babies!

This is off topic but thank you very much for posting this information about noah's ark. I have wondered how to do that quest and I was kinda afraid to ask. I have wondered over how one can possibly do it without the strategy you state here and the answer is... you can't... it just takes a whole bunch of wasted stables LOL.

I started this thread when no one jumped right in with a chart thread because I wanted the younger level players to know to wait for BBD. Breeding quests are awful without it and I wanted everyone to know to wait for it. Then one of the mods thankfully combined the threads.

 

Hi dSaisy. I wouldn't consider any stables a waste - there are many events/quests that require a quick turnover of animals which can cost if you haven't many CCs. I like having excess stables in my inventory. I am amazed I haven't got more (such as pigs on my other farm!) but I think I may have given them away when I thought I wouldn't need them anymore! I tend to think of it as an investment ... you never know what they are going to throw at us next!

Hope I didn't mess up your intention by asking for a merge.

 

Still a bit off topic, but also quite relevant to strategy, as long as you have no more than enough stables to fill your whole farm ... absolutely maxed out !!... they are not a waste and they soon pay for themselves, especially during events. You can always sell the surplus animals. Rewards tend to be upgrades to stables and you can always give away the surplus stables to lower level players ... on those 'rare' occasions that we have G&T ... at least that is what I try to do....

 

That's right. I have nearly 100 chicken pens (and I know others have more) on both farms. When there is need for chickens, poo or both, out they come and (as long as I am not working) I farm chickens for a day.

 

Totally agree with this...just made 130000 by selling 40+40 cows and horses. How much stables would cost(if you buy 40 of each)? Selling some of your animals will make it up, around 60-80 of each(during this event, cows and houses)

 

So are we or are we Not having a BBD this weekend or pf sale? If not....I do Not think I will do this rodeo event!

 

I have the same question(s) as well.
Normally, it would have been announced by now, but you can wait 2 more hours from now. There is a MOD who usually posts around that time.
The Announcement, or lack of it, or both may be in his/her mail...
