I have Been Doing Well to Sell my Stocks of White Cows as I had over 100 in my Barn, Been selling them for 60K or more each. Nice Little Earner, Been Stocking up my Barn of Products and Rare Animals

I will Start My Breeding as Soon as BBD Starts. In The Mean Time I am Growing and Stocking Cows and Horses Hurry up BBD I want to start now lol

 

Opened breeding rune today grown one brown cow and knocked just the silver task of level-1 to get the harvester. I'll put 24 breeding pastures in the magical glade for cow breeding, 20+20 in main land and green meadow for horses.

But the question is, will it be safe to start production before the event starts and harvest when the event is on?
Please mentors need your opinions

 

Farhana, yes that is safe to do. I do it all the time JUST BE SURE to make sure it's active before you harvest!!!!

I would not worry too much about having horse and breeding stock right now, just to keep.... but that is just me. My trick is to leave the high number of stalls out for an extra day to recoup my stock after the event. Do be warned that the prices will drop significantly, both for regular animals and for the breeding animals needed for the events. Even so, if you have extra after the event its not a loss, not just for "stock", but you can still sell them for a profit, just not quite as nice a profit as during the event. Also, per breeding animals-- all breeding animals tend to jump, though not always this drastically, during BBD days and as they approach. A rule I have read here in this forum, is that the second and third level, but particular the second level animals (in horses #2 would be haflingers, #3 would be shetland ponies) are the most "cost effective" to breed and sell, in terms of cost and powerfeed. (sell those either for CC or to buy higher animals).

If you are not doing the event, then I, personally, would work on getting CC. One trick is that often you can sell second and third level animals and get enough money to buy higher level ones, rather than directly breeding them. Even so, it will likely take time to get more than one or two levels up breeding animals.

 

all this time i always thought we were only allowed 1 breeding pasture. everyday learn something new. yesterday figured out i could put water tank in cloud row.

 

feelfree2win, I like to shop for water tanks and inactive volcanoes in the Pirates Cove just for that purpose!

 

Do you know how hard it is to look at all those breeding pens ready to harvest, and not? (Just a little miscalculation but better on the early side than late!)

 

You think that's bad! I came home from work nearly two hours ago and took myself off for a walk to pass the time cos I can't wait either! Only twelve minutes till breeding time!

Illy has had two lots of White Cow twins. Another motel gave up a Flaming Steer. Not a bad start.

Forgot to say, all from regular cows. Don't think I will need to breed Brown Cows for Whites, I have nearly got them all through regulars.

My land still planting & animals farming.

Good Luck Dnin - I have nearly finished with the cows in less than an hour so you should have no problem! Illy is having all the luck: another Flaming Steer and two lots of Highland Cows.

This farm just chugging along ... no problemo!

Edit: Spoke too soon - this farm just got a Flaming Steer, an Apine Cow and a Highland Cow (not from the same motel of course, that would be just too lucky!) and Cows are all done! I have the breeding stock for the Horsies so I am breeding just regulars to get the Foals. Oh, so cute!

 

I have filled 2 fields with breeding pens. I want to finish it as quickly as possible.
It's great to get started on the breeding.

 

I have twelve motels on Illy and 18 on this farm and I will problem finish in about an hour and half total! With Pink Jelly and four Pheromones of course! It's such great fun - I love breeding events but only when I have all the necessary stuff otherwise it is really frustrating ...

Edit: Illy continues to be the lucky one, has got a Sea Horse twice. This farm's best skip with horses was a Mustang twice.

I will stop now and save my PF for the next time when I have more time to enjoy the breeding event.

 

yeah.. just finished rodeo babies, activated the cloud row. Already have a cowgirl as a skip... on to more breeding until I run out of powerfeed.

 

With the cloud row, rune and Pink Jelly, my time is 1:30. I won't use pheromones until close to the end if I'm still breeding. This way I don't use as much PF.

No big skips yet but I'm thrilled to be breeding camels for the first time!
I've got 54 breeding pens out mainland and 15 Baha.
