roosters

I'm really not sure where to post this but i have a question. I won rooster coops, they produce roosters, those roosters i can use to do the star quests but i can't breed them. and the ones i breed i can't use for the star quest. is it supposed to be this way?

Roosters are not able to be bred. You can get Roasters from breeding chickens.
I am not sure which quest you are referring to can you explain in a little more detail which one you are attempting to donate to.

the quest in town. the ones with the ex points and stars and money...most the time. Lol.. i didn't think of the roosters that way..I can see not being able to bred them... but the game still won't let me use the ones i get from breeding on those quests.

I am new to this game and extremely new to the forum. Any of the quests in town any of the levels that has roosters. it won't let me use the roosters I get form breeding only from the won pens.. And I did some research and found, on this game you can take four roosters in the breeding pen and breed them. I'm pretty sure you get a silky chicken...I know he's black. But the one's from the won rooster pens can't be used in the breeding pens.

I'm not a mod, but I think your confusion is the result of rooster vs. roaster. The roaster is a chicken, which is bred in the breeding motel from chickens. The rooster is a completely different stable. If you have rooster stables, you can only make more roosters, but they cannot be bred at this time. So - roasters and roosters are two different types animals that can't be interbred. Hope this helps. Happy farming.

 

Here is the Farmer's Society Quest FAQ. Each quest asks for something specific.
You can donate Roosters to quests that ask for EV value, like the Farming Contest or to the The Wolf next door when you get to that level.
Roasters can be donated to the Clucks, Cackle and Co. quest.
