I am going to start this thread by quoting Upa70 from another thread, thanks Upa for doing the Math!
I am sitting this one out as the rewards are not worth the extraordinary amounts of powerfeed needed.:wuerg:

Lol I guess I must be the crazy one!:p I did the event and bred bears, hamsters and chameleons to get my backpacks! I bred them
because I am making the Pink Factories that go with each animal, soooo it was a way to move them along! I did have everything else in my barn so I just had to turn it in, and I always have my mill going replacing the PF I might use! Good Luck and Happy Farming everyone! As usual the "Skips" were non-existent!

Knowing me i am Hoarder of everything got loads of PF, Suzy, Super Grow, SM etc

This Cloud Row gives you crates every 46 Hours you can win back 670 PF

Also can gain Renzo coins in Renzo shop buy PF and Farm Coins, In Shop O Rama you can buy PF using Farm Coins, Which i do often ;)

I did not do enough breeding in first Baby Boom Window, but i did get some good or decent skips but never a super amazing skip it is a FACT like 1 in a Trillion PF:wuerg:

It has taken so much fun out of Breeding, plus so very hard to find Breeding Animals to buy in the markets most of them are greyed out :wuerg::wuerg::wuerg:

Even with Newish Breeding Animals high Level surplus animals wont get much CC for them to sell, so makes sense to Complete Breeding Quests or Build Pink Workshops instead :p

Forgot to mention can gain PF for Farmerama Wheel and opening crates too;)

I shall be doing this event, who knows what the Wonder Trees and Wonder Stables will provide me a Surprise or Two:oops:

Here is another crazy one :p. It did not cost me 670 power feed, I loaded my breeding shack full in 1 power feed day for next baby boom and breeding event, so I saved 132 PF. I only buy power feed with farm coins and sometimes from events, I get it from crates, wheel, FSQ etc.

I’ll pack myself with backpacks on the last day of the week. I saw that the ingredient would be on sale and there would be more bustle in the love corner as well. And if the ingredient is already on sale, it is not negligible, even if you can save it.
I even saw very smiling fertile people.

Thanks davidblyth007 for starting this thread. ;)

I too loaded my Loveshack with half price PF but I had to scrabble around to get the rest - the 200 PF from Renzo seemed to get gobbled up way too quickly - and I had spent a lot feeding my Parakeets and Gargoyles to speed them up. :p

I did think about saving this event until the weekend and hope that there would be a Happy Discount Day but I shall try to find enough to fill the Motel ready for the next event. Like a good Brownie/Guide/Scout, I like to be prepared. :music:
Finished with no great skips to speak of but every little helps towards those oh so tricky breeding FSQs! :inlove:

Good luck with those rare skips everyone. :)

So happy we have the discount day and baby boom together again! I'll wait until Sunday to complete this event.

I just saw both announced in our mini-events section, but it so much more fun to see how escalonilla announces it! I really appreciate you keeping us posted on what you find in other forums!

Well now, lookie-here, I might hafta rethink Not doing this on accounta there being a twelve - yes 12 hour overlap betwixt that there Babybo_OM and the happiest discount day! After many many years, I can see ReeWard for that uncommon patience stuff! Who woulda thunk it!xD

I held off on breeding during the first Baby Boom because 670 PF looked an awful like a number that was artificially inflated to compensate for half-price breeding.

But really, 670 PF is not a big deal for me at all as it's just a fraction of all the PF I get for free in this game. No, I don't mill my PF and I certainly haven't been hoarding it for the last 6 months because I used it all up back in August and have completed every breeding event since. I have also finished all breeding FSQs so pink workshops are all I have left to work on outside of breeding events.

Most of my PF comes from events (either directly in the form of rewards or indirectly via crates), Shop-O-Rama, FSQs, and crates from givers. The rest comes from the farm wheel when I get around to spinning and season rewards, I guess.

There's so much free PF in this game that it literally did not occur to me there are players out there who had such a hard time coming up with a meager 670 PF. Too bad those who need the most help would rather post unhinged rants in the feedback section rather than ask for tips here... :sleepy:

hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it??
easy to comment once you see a mini event update informing you of a half price breeding day etc....this was not the case when the event was announced and initial feedback was requested regarding the said event. my comments in the event feedback forum were relevant at the time.
it didn't occur to me that it must be so easy to get powerfeed once you reach lvl200+
for those of us who do not have limitless supplies of powerfeed coming from countless cloud rows and chests received from cloud rows etc....a meager 670 power feed is a lot to some players!!

arrogance is a very ugly trait to have...especially when you inflict it on others.-.-

We must remember that it may only be because people complained about the requirements, that BP decided to do the half price sale. Well done upa70 for your 'rant'

No need to close the thread. I can see upa70 has nothing substantive to say so the bickering is over. Sorry for derailing the thread.

Sure would've been nice to know what exactly it is I said that some interpreted as "arrogance" so I could try to avoid repeating the same mistake in the future but oh well.

    Howdy farmers,

Just a gentle reminder to be respectful of each player's point of view as we are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and experiences. The strategy section is to share ideas to accomplish the event. You may have a different idea from someone else, but all are invited to share their ideas and ask questions, but these conversations and interactions must be conducted politely.

As this thread has become a heated disagreement, it will be closed to prevent further escalation.
