    Is the only way to get scissors purchasing the Toolboxes?

    Tex - you get tools from harvesting your farm, quest rewards, sometimes event rewards and you can ask your neighbors to send you toolboxes as your gift. You don't have to purchase a toolbox. It just takes time....Good luck getting scissors.

    Some tools are rarer to get than others. You may also be lucky to get one through a daily gift of toolboxes that your Neighbours can send you.
