Season Tokens

I thought we use to get a total of 9 Season Tokens for completing the 39/40 Season levels. This was exactly enough to exchange for the 1hr +1 Crop Harvest bonus. Unless my eyes and brain are deceiving me, it looks as if this Season we receive a total of 8 tokens - one short. So it seems we must obtain one token by completing some steps in one of the events. Is my memory correct?

I know we can get them from doing events, but in the past, I thought we could also get the 9 needed tokens by only doing the Season.

Update 09 July: I just completed the Season. I bought the Season Pass, and fill all orders (8 customers) and have bought missing products in the Market. I received both side rewards and am happy. I got the hyena stable and a Neon cuckoo. Last Season I got the very elusive (for me) Red Eared Slider. I really appreciate that these last two seasons have given a guaranteed reward of something I had no luck obtaining otherwise.

As someone who's retired and looking for a relaxing game with a chance to chat with friends, doing the Season works perfectly. I've been playing just over 1.5 yrs and have done a number of events. Many just demand too much of my time and concentration and I decided that doesn't fit my personal style. At the moment, I prefer to putter along. If there's an event which isn't too arduous, I consider doing it, but those which require a race against the clock, tend to cause me stress.

I'm planting long grow crops to build up stock so my drops are fairly good considering how few plots are down due to lots of critters and trees sharing the field. I wish I could pass on all my drops which have no use for me since I skipped the event.

I agree with Mooboy's comment about the Season +1 reward. I'll be using my 8 tokens for something else, but still think the Season used to give a total of 9 so if one wanted the +1, it was obtainable by doing only the Season event.

 

We get them from events. I have 13 tokens and I am far from level 39.

 

There is 284 Hours left of this season event, The Latest event is Cakewalk to Heaven, sadly this event is disaster due to very very poor drops of Pink Boxes I wont be using Tokens to boost drops of Event Crops

Also i do not put too much effort into season events anyway because you have to donate loads of barn stocks to get these rewards

I do not purchase Season Points either I just made do with Events rewarding season points to level up to unlock tokens

Also donating 9 season tokens for +1 Crop for 1 or 2 Hours to me that very very mean reward, whereas on Farmerama Wheel can win +1 Crops for 6 Hours

In my personal View the Token Rewards needs to be revamped for much better worthy rewards the EP and Giver Boosters can be won using Crates which generate every 18/24/36/48 hours

The Advantage of these crates no need to donate any barn stock to get rewards. It is worth doing Events that unlock new crates sadly with cakewalk to heaven needs has become Cakewalk to Hell due to awful poor drop event drops
