Illy, I am so glad that you caught on that we do not NEED the teabags. When I read your post where you were fretting about drops and what you would have to do to increase them. I was uncomfortable thinking how can I gentle and kindly tell you are worrying about nothing. LOL I am glad Mir made a comment to help straighten you out.

This is what I love about the strategy threads. It helps us all to understand the finer points and corrects us when we misread. I am guilty of the later all the time.

 

I have 45 TeaBrew barrels in my inventory and around the same amount in my farm so I can harvest them when they are ready.
I have enough goods to get more of them but if I put them in my farm I won't have the space to grow the crops
I am lost Any ideas??

 

I'm planting about 50 barrels at a time and the teabags have been keeping up so far. I'm doing it this way because when I finish growing the plants I don't want to take up all of my fields with the things.
Arielh you can hold the barrels in your inventory and plant them when you want to (I have almost 300 waiting to be planted)

 

Ariel - How much of your farm is devoted to the event? Are you using buffs like PJ or CAC? I will plant them overnight each night that I get them. I had enough tea bags last night to put on all the barrels that I had to reduce them to 12 hours. Won't have that many tonight. You still have plenty of time.

In line with what both AnnTAngel and puppiesnponies have just said, it depends on what your preference is and if you're using CAC or PJ or not. But, for sure, you can have enough time for not only both the event's crops and the teabrew barrels but, also, for growing other crops or raising some animals (for instance, those requested in this event) or, even better, confining all event activity to fields different than Bahamarama's.

In any of the cases, let me remind you that you can skip L2D task altogether and still get enough teabrew barrels. That means 1800 event's crops less, a full round, at least, either using CAC or PJ in 1x1s. It helps, a lot, to more comfortably achieve all the goals with less stress (this is exactly what I'm doing in my 2 lower level farms, where, besides, I only use PJ). -I explained this in my first entry in this thread-.

I prefer to plant all of the teabrew barrels in two shots (1 set of boosted and 1 set of non-boosted ones; in sequence, or simultaneously). I'll do it towards the end of the event so that I can maximize the proportion of them I can boost with teabags and, thus, minimize the time-space these awful useless things eat up.

(By the way, I'm doing pretty well with these teabag boosters: I've got 108 since event start -24hs-, of which 4/5 from gifts and 8 from Magic Trees. So, if this rate keeps going, I'm pretty confident I'll be able to boost around 80% of the teabrew barrels).

I don't know exactly how many fields I have but I use every-time CAC and 1x1 fields. In my main farm I have few stables and the rest is 1x1 fields in the green meadow I have 1x1 fields and some barrels, in the Magical Glade I have 1x1 fields and few rare stables the same in Bahamarama... In 2 hours my crops will be ready and I will try to calculate exactly how many 1x1 fields I have so then I can understand if I have enough time.

I saw this idea in your first post but I can't understand for what task are you referring... What does L and D mean?

and about something else in this event I realize that we get the thing for the event from the magical tree. Was that happening and in the other events too?

 

Yes, Arielh - the magic tree gives you an event drop item. If you place it on Baha, it will give you Tropical EP. Mine are on Shipwreck Bay. Every bit helps!

 

wow this explains a lot... in the previous Gift and Trading Event a lot of players wanted a magical tree and I didn't know why... I was ready to give it for something else but I kept it. Thank you for the information!

Hi, I have completed most of the Septemberfest part 1, just have 6700 more gingerbread brier to grow and will be done in 4 more harvests. I will do the teabrew overnight from saturday night into sunday because I am usually away from my computer for over 15 hours. I am so glad things are speeding along as I only have 15 of the teabags, so can't count on that to help with the brews.

I Just got Four More harvests to go to get all the needed Gingerbread Briars, As all my Fields are 1x1 and with CAC running too. As I am Unlocking all the needed Barrels, as I go along as only need 650 Barrels out of possible 700 From September Quest I, as I have already got 23 Extra Strong Tea Brew in my Barn...

I am Trying to get as many Tea Brew Bags as possible as use them to speed up Production of Extra Strong Tea Brews that can be grown in 12 hours as appose to the 16 hours it normally takes to Grow. I am doing it the same way as Aluntino I only need to put out 627 Teabrew Barrels to convert them into Extra Strong Tea Brew as I will be growing them to the full cycle carefully. As I do not want to short Change Myself so that i can prevent spending 25BB which can be using on more useful things for this game.

I do have 147 Tea Brew Bags in my Barn so far, as Magic Trees do help with any event drops, they also help get you Bahm EP on the island or on the Ship Wreck, Sadly they are not Tradable during Barter and Gift Events.

I did nuke my event crops with everything and using 2x2 on First Harvest, then use water and manure on 2nd harvest, then I convert to 1x1 when i build up enough to seed my whole farm in 1x1 and keep CAC running too. While I was nuking the Ginger Bread Brairs I was growing many Cranberries i could as i activated my Cranberry Refinements get the growing time down to 2 hours and 7 mins as appose to 3 hours 30 mins they would normally take to grow so very Effective Refinement for Cranberries. Cranberries have been selling like hot cakes here, also making a killing in the market, lucky for me i am a hoarder so. The Markets have not been that great to make good cc when Events are not running...But When Events are running or New Events FAQ comes out they do help you make good cc.

I Enjoy doing events when there is good cc to be made not just growing crops, collecting drop items. As the Event rewards are not as great as they use to be....Mind you i have been playing this game over 3 years.... But still do these events as I got FOCD and gives me something else to do since i got too many crops in my barn now

By Tomorrow Night I am Hoping I am just down to growing The Remaining Extra Strong Tea Brews Needed, I also like to mention that for those who have unlocked the Music Box Cloud Row, since I have so far only got Carousel Music Box in My Park, as I only need to get Rainbow Music Box and Ballarina Music Box to complete the Music Box Cloud Row which gives you 3 Hour Helper Coupon, which there is a fair chance you can get with those Wonder Boxes From Level 6 of September Quest II Diamond Level. So Wait and See as it is worth a try anyway as you never know your luck !!!

 

Wow! Some of you are getting a ton of teabags! I have my LL rune and trophies at 29, 5 Magic Trees and have only gotten 35 teabags. Of course, I have been running flat out all the farm doing the briars. Hope I don't end up needing them. I am hoping to be done in plenty of time. I need 5 more harvests and am running 1x1's and CAC.

 

I love Double EP especially when I have 3 full fields of carnations for the start of the event. They gave me lots of EPs. I have chopstick factories and ginger on the Island. I've got 42 teabags. But I do not need teabags. I just want tools,sugar, salt and herbal elixir.
I'm still growing those event crops.

Sglick: Please, no gentleness and kindness required - a (soft rubbery) mallet to the head if I have misread/misunderstood the FAQs lol! I would hate to mislead anybody else in my silly world of Illy!

 

In the Green Meadow 169 1x1 fields
In the Magical Glade I have 111 1x1 fields
In the Main Farm I have 145 1x1 fields
and in Bahamarama I have 155 1x1 fields
In the Green Meadow I plant the TeaBrew barrels so if I plant them only in the night I could have extra 30 1x1 fields

So what do you think I should do to finish the event?

 

Ariehl - it looks to me like you are doing fine...You have enough fields devoted to event crops. You are using CAC right? Have you started donating to the event? If so, what level are you on? Or do you like to grow everything first and then donate? If so, how many event crops are in your barn?

I personally planted my barrels overnight since they take longer but you should do it when it is best for you. I am able to harvest regularly during the day so that is when I plant crops. I also have terrible fatigue in the late afternoon and early evening so I plant for overnight not long after the gift reset time for me even though it is still early evening. That works best for me....

I chose the alternate strategy with the reset and only grew the 3700 event crops. I planted 3 fields of barrels last night but miscounted. The ones I planted last night will be ready before noon and then I will need to plant the remaining 100+. Eager to get back to 'normal' farming.

 

I also did the reset. Since I missed the last mystery trees, I have the BB that I saved for them.
The barrels will go on the field some what in the middle of the evening. That gives me enough time for crops today and no hurrying tomorrow at midday (church, lunch,children).

and I have 235 TewBrew barrels in my inventory. How many do you suggest me planting this night?

and I totally agree with you I want the normal farming
