I hope we can have a similar event in the future that will use any left over coins and plants. This also gave another chance for us to buy 1x2's so desperately needed for the cloud rows.

Liked: Properly rated as a hard event, but still enjoyable with nice rewards. The game itself was a good change; it was easy to hit the targets and you knew what type of prize would be received. Offering different levels of cloud rows, older EP givers, trees, stables and substantial power feed and super grow prizes allowed players to choose what items they wanted to work toward. I like getting away from the constant event crop cycle.

This would be a good mechanism for allowing older cloud rows to be offered again, so that newer players could have a chance to earn them.

Disliked: The extremely long wait for two stars game pieces to appear - that needs to be tweaked for future uses of this game mechanism. You had one game piece (the pig) that was avoided as practically useless (and there was already a joker to avoid) while players waited for the two valuable games pieces to appear. Perhaps this was an attempt to add difficulty; however, it just came across as annoying.

Overall a good Event:), a bit Hard...that's for sure;)...but the wait for the 2 Star items was a drag:(, please do something about it in future events with this mechanism.

Not the best event i have ever played ...used spelt and carnations and found these to be pretty poor in giving drops>:(
Only got 6 trees from these drops and this event ...AND only got two trees that i hadn't got already from them ...which didn't surprise me :sleepy: same old things...nothing surprising o_O

The shooting game was really boring:sleepy: But it could have been better if the dragon and the witch appeared more frequent.
I liked that we didn't have to grow any event crop but the drops rate was very low...

For me the game was a thumbs up. Could get on with RL while waiting for drops. No event crop so could build up stocks in our barns. Different mechanism so made a nice change although I agree that it did go on for a bit too long and that the pig was pretty much pointless!! Liked we had the choice of prizes. The shooting was easy enough. I managed to make 12 bags of premium balls but after purchasing all the useful stuff I could only just get the basic CR but got as decent hoard I guess. I definitely appreciate any event that doesn't mean I have to be glued to the PC for hours!

I liked the mini game but it did drag a little.. as far as the premium vs standard balls it was almost pointless to have the standard balls.... i am really upset that the FAQ came out and said we could get 30 coins from the standard balls but then was changed with no warning and then we could no longer get the maximum.. also the FAQ did not say that you will get double coins from the premium balls.. so i made 2 batches of standard balls which was pointless and spent over an hour trying for the 30 coins before giving up.. not very happy about this. the drop rate for the trees was terrible.. you had to give up field space for all the trees to get the drops and with them taking 20 hours that ties up the fields too long.. i do not think this event was thought out very well.. it was an event that was more for people who want and can spend real money on the game.. not all of us have that luxury.. the amount of coins with the premium balls was an odd number as if you get the max and play 2x that would be 108 coins which means you loose them.. it ended up i lost a bunch of coins because i had to rethink what to spend them on as i was 1 coin short of getting the things i originally wanted and i did not miss and got the maximum.. its really ashame as it could have been a very good event .... it wouldnt have been so bad if we got to keep the coins and the event came back kinda like the nublons or comic event but that was not the case..

My Dislikes of this Event....did drag on too long to get get the Drops you needed to Make Premium Balls. Plus it Taking Ages to Make Enough to Make 1 Premium Ball....There is too much waiting during this Event.

Also The Mini Game had to wait a fair while for a Double Coin Opportunity to appear after about 7 Balls as you need to use all 15 Balls to complete the mini game. You could not have a break from mini game half way through the game. I not really Enjoyed at much as i would have likes i Enjoyed the Fishing Mini Game much better

This Event Really Prevents you for doing normal farming on some fields as we cannot get Drops for this Event by Growing Animal Stables and Production Pens it either had to be Trees or Crops. But I noticed growing 12 Hour or XXL Trees did not help much to boost drops of Field Bobbles as you would Growing 20 Hour Trees

I did do some refinement crops as i did not get good Drops of Festival Blossoms. The Only Crops that did make huge difference with Carnations

It was hard work to get the coins needed to get the Givers for the Basic,Silver and Gold Cloud Row

What i did like was the Miscellaneous Prizes and Mini Game Graphics ;)

Well what can I say, the event was ok, geared for young folks which is fine, my main issue is the trees and stables we received as rewards, its nice to receive rewards for our dedication to this game, but come on you could have given at least 1 great reward. stables, I received 1 racoon, 1 orange paint factory and give me a brake 2 yellow rabbit, trees xxl, 1 date, 3 beach 1 apple and 1 other I don't remember. Why cant you guys be a little more generous. At level 89, the rewards I received were beyond disappointing, the developers make more people unhappy I don't get it. Why would it be so difficult to give 1 great reward? I don't want to hear its random because that is always what the answer is! What you don't understand is when you get junk for rewards its depressing, (after working so hard to finish an event you should give a feel good feeling. (better rewards)

Liked this event except for the long wait for the last 2 double coins in the shooting game. If that can be tweaked then this one is a keeper in my book.:D

It was ID's as hard and it was for me! That's ok, I didn't expect to get everything and wasn't disappointed. I did plan what I wanted and achieved that - silver CR and all the misc items except the GBs and oh yeah the sticker since it has no value to me.

I'd like to echo other comments to improve this event:

    - tweak drops a bit. I want to farm not plant 1 crop and be done for the day.
    - adjust the shooting game so it doesn't take as long. It got too boring. :wuerg:
    - offer old CR as prizes
    - bring it back regularly a la Renzo

I have to agree with my fellow farmers about this event.

Loved it! The new mechanism was great! Milling in both mills was great and milling time reasonable. The FAQ was confusing and last minute changes did not help that but once I understood how it worked (did not fully understand in the beginning that we were making a bag of 15 balls as I thought the resources listed were going to be for each ball) I really enjoyed it. The joy is brief though because it took so long to have enough drops to make another bag.

So many new things to try for made it hard for me to pick:p It was labeled hard and I appreciated the challenge of that but in the beginning when I saw there was not an event crop, I was very excited that I could farm as I preferred. However, rather than stocking up on crops or feeds, it was trying to chase those drops which meant growing crops that I would not have originally selected. In the end, it worked out that I had to grow such long crops as I had a lot of real life things that took my attention but I was still able to get some nice things for my farm.

The mini game was fun and could have been even more so had those last 2-3 dragons/witches not taken so long. Each mini game for me lasted 5-7 minutes but I read somewhere that a player waited 15 min. Way too long. I did like that the speed of the game was nice and not too fast like Whack a Mole at Renzo.

I, too, would love to see the drops adjusted and would love to see it return. Overall, great job BP!

  12. I have been a player with this game virtually since its inception and have managed to reach the 90s levels. I have loved the SeptemberFest event since the first one with Golden Acorns and always looked forward to them every year, and was quite excited that this seemed at first to be something a little different.

That said, this one was a big disappointment. The drop rate for blossoms was abysmal, I pulled up all my pens and put fields in every available space, not occupied with trees, and with five fields that should have given me a reasonable return. Even with long crops up to 15 hours, for a 3/4 field of plots, I was lucky to get 10 blossoms. Mostly on Bahama with the main field full of plots and the longest crops, I got maybe 7 blossoms. I did try different crops, short and long to see if there was an optimum plot size / crop / time / drop rate, but found it all much of a muchness; short crops gave fewer drops - however you could plant more in the same time interval; but the numbers worked out about the same on a time ratio.

In total I managed to mill 2 x premium and 2 x standard packs of balls in three days. That included waiting on the first day to harvest anything until after the start of the event.

The rewards were not sufficiently great to warrant expenditure of real money on this. Instead I just packed it in before the end, because my calculations showed it would be impossible for me to get enough blossoms to mill sufficient balls to get even the lowest cloud and decorations to complete it. The event simply wasn't sufficiently interesting, absorbing, rewarding or entertaining enough to be worth any effort.

The idea of drops for both items required to mill was a reasonable idea, but the success depended on the random vagaries of the system and not on any skill, strategy or expertise - so a game that was essentially a big gamble. Or spend real money to get rewards you either have from previous events or clouds with 'once again' dedicated decorations that give mid-level EP etc.

The mini game to shoot at targets, simple 'pass-the-time' fun, but no great skill involved and so easy a five-year old could master it.

I did appreciate the 'mystery trees and stables' which didn't need too many points - and hoped to get at least one that I didn't already have. Mainly because I have this insane desire to have at least one of each pen and tree (it's known as FCNFEAAT- a variant of the FCEAQ.syndrome - a common condition in many long-time players). However, as others have mentioned when you reach high levels, mostly these are yet more of the same you already have, usually several in inventory, because - and this is the biggest drawback to all these new pens and trees - there is no more room on the farm.

My inventory is stacked often into double figures, with unused and unusable pens and trees and decorations - literally hundreds, just doing nothing. When the cloud rows were first mooted it was so we could put our excess decorations somewhere. It has turned into event specific decorations for virtually every cloud reward and if you don't get all the decorations, the cloud is useless. As for the so-called classic decorations - where would the higher and some not so high level players put them - oh yes, in their inventory along with all the hundreds of others they no longer have room to put out.

All in all, not one of BigPoint's better planned events and one which I will not remember with fondness, nor look back and think 'yes, that would be good it they brought it back', as I did on more than one occasion over the past five or so years.

One final point - which occurred to me this evening when I saw 'Amadillo feed in the mill and market' - when did the developers and planners sit down and decide 'hmm, instead of a farm, I think we need to turn it into a zoo'. Wouldn't it be nice if, instead of a new animal and tree every month, we had somewhere new to put the multitude we already have in storage. How about an event that would open up new land - believe me, every player over 60 would go for that.

I think the developers need to take a step back and instead of this constant race to make another cute pen or same ol' same ol' tree with a different colour fruit and call it XXXXX, they should be working out whether this game is developing or just coming up with more of the same, but telling us it's new and exciting, because we can now breed an Armadillo.

I liked this event, no event crops so I could mostly farm as normal and the targets were easy to hit. Hitting the target was not random like the fishing event.:):)

The wait for 2 coin targets was so long. Please tweak this for next time.:(:(

Overall I'd love to see this type of event again.:)
