Hi Pnp! I will make the correction in the days to avoid confusion by anyone and adjust the days in the growth/production strategy to meet the event.

No sense of humor missed. This was an error in presentation. Thanks.

Is anyone actually going to try to play Renzo's at the same time? I can't believe they've brought that back on top of this already too complicated event.

    *brain implodes* o_O

I have carnations cooking in two fields and nearly all my trees out in others, and plan to gift bobbles every day. It sounds as if we should only try to mill the gold balls. I would love to get the extra golden bananas as a prize because even though my island is level 182 I still have far too many plants and trees left to open, but that seems to require way too many coins for too few bananas. Cloud rows may be a better bet for me to try to level up.

I guess I will endeavour to mill golden balls and try to start playing the games as soon as possible. But I will save my coins until the last day to decide what to buy, which gives me time to decide whether or not to go for the cloud rows. My work schedule is not going to let me participate as much as I would like.

    Good luck, everybody!! :D

    Now I'm confused.

It was already clear that Premium bags of balls -unlike claimed above- would yield double rewards and, hence, they were essentially indifferent (double resources for double coins). But now this clarification has been published, minutes ago:
    https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/septemberfest-2015.21303/#post-108684
    1. What is the difference between normal and premium balls?
With premium balls, you will get double coins and gold coins way more often than using normal balls.
So, with premium balls, you can have maximum 12 double coins and unlimited gold coins and you can earn maximum 54 star coins. With regular balls, you can have maximum 8 double coins and 3 gold coins and you can earn maximum 23 star coins in every mini-game.
The amount that can be won in each round will be calculated in every mini game, but definitely you get a lot more if you use premium balls.

The problem is it's nowhere explained in FAQ, at least so far, what the difference is between these coin types (mentioned for the first time right now) -double, gold, star-. So, I'm sorry in advance but I was left with no choice, I went to the Italian FAQ and got the answer:
    http://it.bigpoint.com/farmerama/board/index.php?threads/festa-bavarese-2015.21895/#post-172367

Essentially, the difference between coins is as follows:
Il bersaglio che riporta una moneta d'argento [IMG] assegna un punto, corrispondente ad una moneta stellata
The target that yields one silver coin assigns a point in the game, that corresponds to a star coin.

Il bersaglio che riporta due monete d'argento [IMG] assegna due punti corrispondenti a due monete stellate
The target that yields two silver coin assigns two points in the game, that correspond to two star coins.

Il bersaglio che riporta una moneta d'oro [IMG] assegna un punto, corrispondente ad una moneta stellata e un premio speciale tra 1.000 pe o 1.000 pe tropicali o 1.000 nichelini.
The target that yields one gold coin assigns a point in the game, that corresponds to a star coin + a special prize (1000 EPs or B-EPs or 1000 CCs).

And, regarding the game, stuff that I had not read before, it explains:

Vale anche il tiro a vuoto, quindi se un giocatore non prende il bersaglio perderà comunque la palla usata.
Il minigioco si svolge molto lentamente e soprattutto non c'è un tempo limite, quindi se non si è certi di prendere un bersaglio si può sempre attendere il successivo.

Missed shots in void space are counted, therefore, if a player doesn't hit the target, s/he will anyway lose the used ball/shot.
The mini-game works at a very low speed and, more importantly, there's no time limit. Therefore, if a player is not sure s/he would hit the target, s/he can wait for the following one.

So, in essence, given what was explained in the recent OA and this explanation on coin types -and game speed (low, with no time limit)-, it's now very clear (thanks, Aristo) it's way better to mill premium bags of balls rather than regular ones, provided you have enough gold leaves in stock, since they take double drops to make.

If anyone else has a brain strain on these figures for the 15 shot game:

    PREMIUM - 12 double coins x 2 = 48 plus 3 single coins x2 = 6, totals 54
    PLAIN - 8 doubles = 16 plus 7 singes = 7, totals 23

If you use double the amount of plain balls you get to 46, which is 8 less than the single premium game.
So there is an advantage in the premium balls.

Yes I have brain strain.... it is to early and not enough coffee yet.
So it is better to mill the premium balls?

Right, Aristo, for some reason, in my mind I calculated 56 as the double of 23......, leaving me with the doubt.

I'm editing my previous entry in accordance.

Yes, JJenks, it's better to mill premium bags of balls.

Thanks Aristo & Aluntio ! Premium balls for me.

I know this question is answered several times. But I am still confused. Should I continue using 2x2 fields or should I switch over to 1x1 for better drops.

I can say the drops is horrible.
Only aim at one cloud row will be most optimistic.
My target is get those GB, wonder trees & stables. Let see if I could get a cloud row at last
I had Baha forest half fill with trees, other Baha land all plant the highest crop ginger.
Main farm (main field is Carnation with edge some tree) however I only get 4 bobble from them
GM 90% fill with trees, I only put those EP over 100, less than 20 1X1 plant carnation which I
    don't remember I got any blossom !)
MG had 25 trees bal plant carnation.
I had a dragon pet & I move howie around each field except forest(forgot),before harvest, I ate
1 green Mateato, I EM to see if it help, look these Ep boost count nothing)
My drops is : bobble 51, blossom 76
Really hard event I ever experience!

Based on yesterday's discussion, I went ahead and began milling regular balls. Now that harvest is over and I have time to read, I see that an OA has been published changing/ clarifying premium vs. regular balls. Even a seasoned player makes a rookie mistake by not reading first....*sigh*

My drops from trees were just pathetic. At this rate, at best I may be able to make 2 premium bags a day. I'm going to have to be an excellent shot to get all the prizes I want.
I tried my first premium game and got 52 coins. 12 doubles, 2 single gold coins, and a miss. The best thing to do is to take your time and wait for the double coins to appear. Warning though, once you start you can't quit without losing your remaining shots. I clicked on the X in the top right and it advised that I'd keep my coins, but lose the remaining balls. So make sure to start when you have a few minutes to wait around for the optimal targets. Good luck!

    Thank you Arielh ! 1x1 - done

I had comfort fields of carnation & green trees.
    Milled one premium ball
    Blossom remaining = 75
    Bobble remaining = 20

Got the wonder stable & trees - all the three of them.
    remaining star coins 8

I think bobble will be the trouble maker.
I have converted almost the entire green meadows & magic glade to Maple tree fields for the next harvest. ;)

    From the FAQ
you can hit a maximum of 12 double coins & others unlimited.

You can take all the time you want. So do not panic or be impatient and start clicking. If you feel the image might disappear before you hit it, leave it and wait for the next.

Thereafter for the next shots you hit the gold sheep queen.

If you want to get reward with star coin, then concentrate on gold sheep. But the rewards are 1000 EP/BEP/CCs

I like this game inspite of the drop rate.
You can take your sweet time to hit.
    You can choose the target.
    You can chose your rewards.

My opening results were really, REALLY poor - one blossom short of being able to mill one premium ball. I have no hope at all for getting much in the way of prizes. Ah well, that takes some of the pressure off. And now - off to work!

    Good luck farming peeps!! :D

Such a sad and sorry beginning, three fields of carnations edged with trees yielded only 70 blossoms and 20 bobbles. The island and rainforest with fields of green tea edged with trees yielded 17 blossoms and 15 bobbles. Netted only enough for one milling of premium. Played my one game, not having read carefully waited and waited for more dragons and cat witches. But on a positive note just one premium bag netted 54 coins! I am a bad shot, but you have an unlimited amount of time to hit the targets, so if you are patient you can get this result everytime. SO glad I stocked up on gold leaves, I will not be milling anything but premium. As others have posted the bobbles are harder to obtain if you don't have autoharvest for your trees, so I will be gifting those every day.

I...BAD, even you explain so clearly, I just shot at the gold queen 3 times before my brain
send signal to my hand>>> shot the double coin.. Lucky I still not exceed the limited & got
    the 54 coins.

@ OldMacDonald88 I don't know how you do it but great job :)
I had all fields full of mostly 20 hour trees, I did have some of my favorite XXl around the edges. I did not count each field but got a total of 309 bobble. And that was with 2 harvests on the 20 hour trees, I still have another hour on the xxl.
Now I've taken out enough to try to keep that balance between the two drops.

    Good Luck everyone :)
