gonna do another 20 hour then go to crops all but forest and specials around main. I will make balls close to the end no hurry gonna go play at the fair!

I seemed to have messed up on trees everyone sayin they got it and my trees are on regular count down for 2nd harvest.
Where are your flowers? again lost I looked in crops, other, didn't we get seed to start with?
Inow can see this game is hard I can't even find the event crop to plant. I just re-read the faq, I can't even find the 15 free balls I give up.

 

Mingling/keltic, no worries, you have great beginning tree drops for bobbles. You need to plant crops now to get the blossoms, no seeds were sent. I did not see anything about 15 free balls, nor did I find them in my inventory.

 

keltic - I thought I read something yesterday about 15 balls to start with too. I can't find it now so I don't know where or how I thought that. We don't have any event crops to grow. Yippee! I like that I can grow crops that suit my own schedule rather than figure out how to grow massive amounts of event crops. I can work on feeds and artisan products.

On BW, I don't have enough gold leaves to make premium balls so will have to make do with regulars. I was able to make 2 bags of regular balls this morning.

I also saw the statement about 15 free balls to start and also can no longer find it. Maybe the info changed.

I knew I read 15 balls glad I am not the only one.Just now tried to read it again and it went poof.

 

Got 19 coins from first attempt.
If I don't hit the 1-coin guy, do I have chance of getting the better ones? Is it profitable to wait because 19/15 is not a good return by any stretch of imagination...

 

I got 509 bobbles from my double tree harvest Have three Howies that I moved around and for the first harvest I also had +5% drop rate on baha from a cloud row.
I will leave my trees out for one more harvest, because then I will have double mega EP bonus for the instant crops tomorrow It will be very hard waiting though guess I'll go shopping at the half price sale it is almost the only thing I can do on my farm right now

 

Bhodho- there is no time limit on the game so you can take as long as you need to in order to get the double coins.

Congrats Mir on your bobbles! I don't have premium so no auto harvest for me but I can see it definitely has advantages.

 

Yes Bhodho, waiting is key to getting the maximum coins. After hitting 12 dragons or witches, they stop appearing, so go for the princess for your last 3 balls.

 

Wow Mir that is great!!! Trees just don't like me I've never got good drops from them.
I couldn't stand it I had to start growing roses.

Thanks Aetheria you answered my question before I could ask it. I sat and waited for more dragons or witches and they never came back finally took out some princess.

 

I will try again with the trees I have up, I messed it up, I think not turning the harvester back on and just collecting messed me up oh well trial and error I will learn.

I am wondering, will you only ever see 12 double coin figures, or is it only after you've successfully hit 12 of them that they stop appearing?

 

They keep appearing until you've actually hit 12, from what I've seen. But they come less frequently the more you've hit. It took forever for my 12th double to appear.

I was excited about this event, so put fields on both Baha fields and took out all my pens (replaced them with fields), leaving the trees - those are okay drops (80 so far) - from a single harvest of around 300 trees. I have five magic trees which give me 5 blossoms per day, however, from observation the drop rate of blossoms is so low, that it will be difficult to get enough to make more than a handful of balls.

From the harvests on Baha (two full fields of half-sized plots of crops)= 8 blossoms in total; from about 100 half sized plots on the other three fields, 5 blossoms in total. Unlike the combination of growing event crops and drops, this is purely random and there is no way to know what to grow for the best results within the time span.

It is a very disappointing start to this annual event.

I do know that longer crops bring higher drop yields - been playing this game virtually since its inception - and this was noticed several years ago. I also harvested an 18 hour crop on one of the Baha fields, with comfort fields (at the start) and that gave me five in total, so there's no guarantee the drop yield will be sufficiently significant to warrant longer crops.

There's difficult and then there's virtually impossible to achieve without purchasing huge numbers of blossoms and the cost of these is quite high too. I don't think I'll be buying them, for the cost of two millings, I can purchase 40 mystery trees or 13 mystery pens.

I'm not sure any strategy could improve the odds, since drop rate is entirely system reliant and there are limited options for a player.

Let us hope BP revise the drop rate upwards. I can but live in hope.

P&P - 15 balls would have been a nice gift - we haven't had a bonus for ages.

 

I do not have an Premium Account Therefore cannot take advantage of Auto Tree Harvest. I had a Mixture of Super Trees and 20 Hour Trees on All Fields including the Rainforest using my 4 Howie Donuts Managed to get 232 Field Bobbles as I had All Trees Out as I know it would take longer and harder to get Field Bobbles.

Now I have seeded Three Fields of Refinements of Lady's Bedstraws Leaving Trees in my Island and Rainforest to see how many Festival Blossoms I can Get.

I have Swapped out and Replace all the Island XXL Trees that I have to see if it makes a Difference in Drops of Field Bobbles My Refinement of Lady's Bedstraw takes only just 3 Hours to Grow it normally Takes 5 Hours to Grow so i shall see how many Festival Blossoms I reap from my first two Harvests....I am going to compare this to Growing Roses

That is Super to Farmers who have Great Start to getting 500 plus Field Bobbles using Auto Tree Harvest it seem we may have to been very choosy to what we buy with coins in Kim's Shop it is a good job i not be needing to buy any classics prizes as i already got these from Previous September Fest !!! I will Unlock The Miscellaneous Prizes First then is depends how many coins i can get during the whole event to which cloud row and Items to Buy from Kim's Store.

But I want double coin. So, I just ignore them with the joker & little pig..
Finally my last ball hit the dragon & 54 coin target achieve!

 

Initial harvest: My main land total drops with refined carnations and 20 hr/XXL trees netted 39 field bobbles and 94 blossoms. Island total drops with ginger and trees were 18 field bobbles and 23 blossoms. Grand total of 57 field bobbles and 117 blossoms. Not the best totals, but I have no auto harvest. Awesome harvest Mir!

Switching to refined roses and hibiscus while I have flower CR running. Removed the jumbo trees and replaced with the best trees left.

Bought two regular bags to practice, then will switch to premium since reading all the info from others. (Bless you!)

Hitting the target isn't that difficult - and my hand/eye coordination is terrible. So relax, take your time and wait for the witch and dragon for the extra points.

 

I have changed my mind... planted crop square on main field and green meadow.

I want to keep baha covered in trees for the whole event (since no refined crops there) and grow refined crops on the farm. I am using crop square, since that is the crop with the highest relative time reduction (not using super grow). I need to know the drop rate to be able to find the balance between crops and trees and how much super grow to spend
