SHARK!!

Several days ago I (finally) opened Baha and Sharks, ...and spent a gazillion on buying and milling BB's, and growing many sharks - specifically for this event. (You can follow my progress in this on the Forum)

As soon as I signed on this morning I went to Baha to load the breeding pen.................But the B.Pen will not let me breed sharks. The Event was/is live.

I have gone back to the Temple to make sure my sharks were open, and they were - all nice and shining Gold. (I am deeply relieved, as I have only 2. GB's left after all this Shark preparation!)

But I still cannot use the breeding shed.

Pleeeease fix my breeding shed. Thank you!

As announced here, sharks were coming to Baha as the next breeding animal.

The Shark Statue must be unlocked in the Monkey Temple to use the Shark Lairs.
Chamber 2: middle row, next to the Parrot Breeding Statue
Cost: 30 Golden Bananas

All animals in the Monkey Temple that become breeding animals must also have a breeding statue unlocked.
Here is the Shark FAQ.

You will need to unlock the shark breeding statue in order to breed sharks, but that will not keep you from participating in the event. You can still work on the event without breeding sharks.

I have opened BAHA and already paid for unlocking the Shark statue in the Monkey Temple just a few days ago - s-p-e-c-i-f-a-l-l-y for THIS Event. I have also purchased 21 shark lairs and 21 yellow shark lairs, and have bred almost 400 sharks in the last few days in preparation for THIS Event, (thanks mostly to the Feathery Fiasco Quest!)
(As stated above, you can track my progress in this in Happy Farm News, and Farm Needs.)
This is a Baby Farm, not a newby.

So even though all that line of statues up to, and including, the Shark statue are opened.....it still will not let me breed sharks! I have already paid for this and used up all but 2 of my GB's, so I cannot pay for it twice.

Please fix my breeding shed.

What you opened was the Shark Lair statue. This allows you to purchase shark stables and place them on the field. It is not the breeding statue.

You will need to open the Shark Breeding Statue in the Monkey Temple in order to breed sharks. The links above show you this information.

Not your fault FA - but that is probably the cruelest blow I've had in 8 yrs. of playing this game. 2 GTB's will not get me shark breeding. All this work and effort was wasted.

P.S. I just went to Chamber 2 to see where it was, and it is not there. (Middle row is all trees). I found it in another chamber(4), after Elephant breeding. Thought you might like to know.

 

As stated above, you can still participate in the event as you don't have to breed sharks for the badges. Your 400 sharks are plenty for the shark requirement.

Chamber 2 opens the Shark Lair Statue. You have already done so.

Shark breeding statue is in Chamber 5 as detailed in the FAQ.

There are 3 statues for the Shark breeding in the Ancient Monkey Temple:

Unlocks: Shark breeding
Statue location: Top row, Chamber 5
Costs: 20 Golden Bananas

Shark Starter Pack
Unlocks: 20 Sharks, 20 Pheromones, 10 Power feed, 1 single holding pen
Statue location: Bottom row, Chamber 6
Costs: 30 Golden Bananas

Shark Breeding Gift
Unlocks: 20 Sharks, 1 Hammerhead Shark
Statue location: Bottom row, Chamber 6
Costs: 30 Golden Bananas

You may have to slide your arrow in order to see Chamber 1.
