Shear drop rate???

Maybe its me...but it seems like the drop rate for the shears is pretty pathetic...4 fields of 1x1 white lilies yielding 4 shears...does not seem proportionate to the tasks????

I agree about the drops I only have 36 on one farm and 24 on the other and that's after harvesting carnations and event crops 3 or 4 times now its horrible

 

I agree about the drops, not giving enough to do anything. We are all going to need help with shears.

 

I know the drops seem low, but keep in mind we only need 250 for the whole thing. Usually we get a lot more drops per field but that is when we also need like 900 total drops. I think if you look at it percentage-wise, you'll see that it's not so bad.

250 is a lot for those of us with real life needs!!

 

this is really irritating I still haven't got enough drops to even get the 65 needed for the first drop quest on the event eeeeewwwww I realize we don't need a lot but this is still crazy

 

I just got out the gate...noticed u get more drops for your animal pens/stables than u do for the crops...

 

24 hrs into the event for me and my total drops are 112 May not seem like much but there is plenty of time to get the rest

 

I believe the drops are better today too.

 

Yes and there is still four-and-a-half days to go.......

We are too much of a "Want-it-Now" generation !!!

I agree, David. There's still plenty of time left, and once we finish growing event crops and get back to "normal" farming, the drops usually increase. For those who feel they are behind in drops, don't forget the SOS thread found here. No one has posted there yet, and those 20 gifts a day will add up to nearly half what you need to meet the daily average.

I been doing this all day and last nite and still not got the drops needed for 1st part either only have 57 am lucky if get 2 for field trees an pens, no way gonna get others at this rate

Still plenty of time.....that is what I said during the last event and I ended up at a stand still....with a drop or two per field...thus NOT finishing the event

 

Mine have been worse today I have harvested all 5 if my farms twice today and only 6 shears, no way even with all your lovely help.
I couldnt quite finish last one either 007

 

Whole field of 1x1 with refined carnations and a Howie and the increased drops cloud row activated gave me .... 9 . Decided it's all laughable so not even bothering to look any more. I know I'll get the drops I need, but bored now...
