Just reread the FAQ and realized we need 25 emu and not 15. I completely missed the level asking for 10. I don't have them yet...I bought the ones I needed (originally I planned to breed) as I will be away for a couple of days and wanted only to have to worry about event plants and milling. I have mixed feelings about the Baha mill being used. Yes, it gives no interruption to the main mill making PF but Baha feeds take such a long time to make that I hate to stop production to make event items that also take a long time to make.

o_Ops...sorry off track. My post sounds more like steam than strategy..

Will look to see if I can get the remaining emu from the market at a similar price to the ones I already bought. If not, then will need to put out the love hotels.

Woo hoo! It finally dawned on me to do the FSQs to get stars towards opening the LL rune on bearbabe (I never remember to move the trophies around:p), so after many clicks and a ton of eggs and milk and various odds and ends, I got 240 stars (needed 223), and bearbabe is now a Living Legend :D! 24/30 there, 26/30 on spots, and spots always gets enough drops, so maybe I'll finally be able to finish events on bearbabe :inlove:. Hopefully it will help me greatly on this upcoming one.

I think I'll concentrate on the Silver tasks from all levels. The rest will be just a bonus. I got more than 10k of Anise last time, so I expect the pyroblooms won't be a problem. It will be the drops again..... I'm working on my level 11 Country fair trophy now. I hope that will help in getting more drops :)

I am going to do this in relax mode, though, especially since I also have to work most of the days. The silver rewards are fun, but nothing special. The two things I'd really like to have are the trees and the stables. If I'm very lucky I might be able to get the trees, but I'm not getting my hopes up for it. The stables is a definite no, though. Too bad, but I'll have more luck next time. I'm convinced of that :)

Good luck everyone, on completing this event! And most importantly: Have fun!

I am going to try to open my aloe vera, but there is no way I will make the hibiscus. Lots of other rewards, though. Other than that, should make some CC by selling animals.

So first I looked at the FAQ/required level of players and thought okay, at least an event nearly all players should be able to do if they have the required time and space (I thought that the amounts asked for would be difficult to acquire though).

Now I look again and here is actually what is the case:
Every Gold task is asking for mouse rockets which need to be milled on BH.
To get to BH one has to be at least level 14 and have spend his first 70 stars to open up BH on the tree of wisdom (stars are slow to be had at low level and most people probably would open up at least one other thing first).
And I hope that everyone on BH can use the mill because usually only players that have opened up at least one animal can usually use the mill.

I think that diamond levels that are limited by BH Crops should either state BH levels (minimum required golden bananas to open up hibiscus for example is a bunch... too lazy for the math but just to get to that temple chamber alone is worth a lot of levels and then more GB for cactus first). Or if BP could just state that it needs BH. Players can figure out if they have the crop, animals or the GB to spend. Bahama is so diverse that no actually logical minimum level could or should be given in my opinion.

Then in level 6 the gold task is asking for emus already which I would have hoped to have been en error because the required level of the player is stated as level 2, same as any other gold level of this event instead of 55. It would seem to fall out of the structure of the event.

If at the end the mouse rockets get exchanged, it would make more sense to get BEP for them as they get milled on BH.

I do not like the fact that the milling product is depending on drop rates and that the milling time is so long. I prefer events that give me, the player the feeling that it is up to me to complete a task instead of lucky drops (luck is for so many other things in this game like secret stables, the wheel and so on...).

And introducing a cloud row that will enhance drop rates is a bad sign to me. Drop rates should be adjusted for all. Instead of ending up excluding more and more low level and even future players that do not have and maybe never will have that bonus.
This is how I see cloud rows. They exclude too many players and become unobtainable in the future compared to Crafting Products that players can aspire to get or produce if only working for it.

I like that this is a three tiered event (silver- lower level, gold- mid level and diamond- high level players). Everyone should be able to do at least some parts, if they chose to.
I'm going to do the event on 4 of my farms completely (unless something unforeseen happens).
I also think that it can't be emphasized enough to get your trophies as high as you can get them, don't forget to tote them from field to field (until you can open the LL rune) and don't let your fields sit idle.

Well now, for initial harvest (long-term crop, trees, workshops ...) I received:
    175 Sparkling Sand
    158 Wood Sticks
    166 Mouse Masks

which is ~30% of total quantity for the event.
Good news is that proportion between them is quite fine.
If it continue like that, finishing event will be quite plausible.

I had trees all over and got:
    119 Sparkling Sand
    132 Wood Sticks
    130 Mouse Masks

    Not bad for trees...

    :):):)

Off to the mill for 17 Mouse Rockets...

I had all Trees on the Island, mixture of Production Pens and Super Trees and Super Animal Pens out i got....

    Mouse Masks 187
    Sparkling Sand 179
    Wood Sticks 165

Now Milling 19 Mouse Rockets, it going to take just over 3 days Mill all 61 Mouse Rockets but it all depends if i can keep up with milling demands for Mouse Rockets with the Drops i will get over the next three Days or so as I already had 25 Emus, 16 Clown Fish and 12 House Turkeys, sold any surplus for good CC

I already Unlock these Bahm Crops of Cassava, Zucchinis, Aloe Vera and Hisbisus, it not a great Event for Lower level Farmers who is not abled to do much with this event.

Also the FAQ is misleading that you need Bahamama Unlocked, plus got enough GB to unlock Cassava, Zucchinis, Aloe Vera and Hisbiscus
Therefore Newbies can only do just the Silver Levels of this Event....In my View that is a bit harsh for Newbies....But i would advise newbies to get into Poo Farming as can make lots of cc from Manure selling and Chickens too

This Cloud row will boost the Drop Rates of Event Drops and Craft Drops on Bahamarama in future events this can be enhanced by using Howie Donuts too

We have to wait and see how good the event drops are harvesting Pyroblooms as we need 16000 of them which is pretty high for an 8 Hour Crop so i am predicting Manure will sell for over 200 CC each to those to need to get back CC they have spend to be able to complete part or all of this event

omadon that is a good start of drops for this event almost the same what i got

I think I'll sit the Last Level out...I've got the animals...but not the Hibiscus...and need to unlock a Chamber and then 2 Statues to get to the Hibiscus ...so this little Farm is a no-go.....

My Main Farm however has all the GB to unlock Hibiscus, but I'm still leaning towards not unlocking it, but rather use that to get the Recipe...I have about 100 animals of each...:p...just not sure whether to sell and make a "killing" or keep and use towards BBD...:music:...it benefits me more currently to sell them, than to breed them...unless I get some GOOD skips, otherwise I lose out...

Annnddd...they're off! The bi-monthly race to beat the clock has begun!;)xD I had a mixture of comfort fields and trees out, with a varying selection of crops (I had production pens out, so I planted my comfort fields as the pens finished, which is why they weren't all the same :p). With carnations, hazelnuts, oyster mushrooms, and a few pumpkins and mushrooms, I currently have a total count of:

    Sparkling sand: 164
    Wooden sticks: 161
    Mouse heads: 165

The investment of time and goods on bearbabe for the LL rune was definitely worth the effort, as I'm not far behind spots for drops there, with 109, 128, and 122 respectively. Will start the mills going and hopefully finish this event on both farms with no difficulties. In the meantime, waiting for my latest batch of 4 seedlings to reveal themselves to me, still drawing out the agony, and still no blackthorn . Good luck every one!

edit: woot woot! Finally, a blackthorn! Only took 28 tries:p.

    What I have for now
    Sparkling sand: 113
    Wooden sticks: 96
    Mouse masks: 99

I will try hard for this event, as I have no school these days and I like a lot the rewards
Do you know where can I find Hibiscus for the last task?

Hi Ariel, hibiscus is on Baha - chamber 8 has to be unlocked first and then the statues for hibiscus and cactus before it, I think.
Well, I've done the unthinkable - I've ripped up everything except my medlar trees since they are good cc earners for me at the moment. Forgot the event was starting today so had strawberries planted for first harvest :p. Will have to plant something overnight.

Oups TCR, bu I am sure you will do fine in the event!
I have unlocked chamber 8 so I need 22 GB. I have them so do you think I should unlock hibiscus?

I'm usually good for drops, Ariel so not overly worried, just slapping myself for being such a twit! As for hibiscus - it's not needed til the last step so I would see how far you can get and then if you want to/can finish the event unlock it, but that's just my view.

I must say the cloud row baffles me, because of its insignificance. I take it almost as if they were pulling our legs. Really annoying, for me, given the effort it implies in a time of the year that should be more relaxed and relaxing.

It combines the need for an awesome EP-giver -if placed in any park-, a good 1x1 CC-giver and a really poor giant B-EP-giver, just to transmute them into remarkably worsened daily EP and B-EP yields (if compared to what you might get from them in parks if you have 6 owls) and a supposed boost to drops for only 30 min every 2 days, limited to the Island: these combined restrictions practically mean there will be no significant boost at all anyone should really care about (quite frankly, it seems a bad joke; to make things even worse, the Island doesn't yield any tools, a pretty ridiculous limitation, illogical as they come, since tools are mandatory for many Island items, like workshops or coloured upgrades....).

I'll anyway do the whole event, almost only for the B-EPs. But, for those who cannot finish it, rest assured that you won't lose anything of true significance. So, my suggestion for those not having all that's requested is to do just what you can without any worries: whatever giver you may get is OK, even if you don't get all of them; the cloud row is absolutely not worth any exerting efforts from anyone.

Of course, this is a suggestion only for those who, like me, don't care about a grayed out cloud if there's any better use for the givers you got (or you fail to get, for that matter).

I got going late as was working yesterday afternoon but, on the plus side, I had long term crops in so got a better drop rate. After less than 24 hours, I have just about the minimum for all the drop items. Things can only get better. :)

    Good Luck everybody! ;)

Well, I don't have all the drop items for my goals yet, but it's close. I've already finished the silver tasks of level 1 and 2 and I've got the 5 mouse rockets milling I need for my goals. I think I'll be able to complete at least all the silver tasks, the level 2 gold task and the level 2 diamond task (I'd really like to have those trees!). I suspect I won't be able to complete other tasks, but that's okay. Too bad for the stables but since I don't have the Zuccini opened up yet, nor the two previous crops or the chamber, I don't think I'll be able to complete that task. I just hope I'll be able to buy them someday :) I guess there's a lot of cinema watching in the future for me :D
    /* shrugs */

At least I'll be able to complete several parts of this event.

And @ Aluntino, thanks for the break down about the cloud row. At first I thought it really wasn't fair for low- and midlevel players, but now that you put it this way, I'm guessing it's not really a big loss after all.
