Snake Eyes 3 - Strategy thread

I absolutely love this event!!! I've played 41 games so far and on level 28. My goal is to get to at least level 54, anything after that is a bonus. Not sure if I'll get that far but will try my best.

 

I should be able to complete the games required. Not sure on the points as I haven't played any games yet Nothing like waiting till the last minute I think this is the event with a Red Quill on the left/ It's a little misleading and gets my hopes up looking at all those prizes only to realize it's not possible Guess that's being a little greedy

 

CR up and running..now grow and throw dices to earn more goodies.

Well, here is how much of a simpleton I am. I just milled my dice cups this morning as I finally had enough shakers. So I checked out the actual game and The way the FAQ's are listed it shows 1-50, 51-100, right? My gameplan was to play the 51-100 side There are no sides So if I want that Red Quill Studio I have to get another 760 drops and that's if I do good on the points (wouldn't hold my breath) Best laid plans

 

62 games played, 9860 points, on Level 40...currently waiting for more crops and drops. Crops I'm doing fine on, but the drop rate isn't keeping up even with long time crops overnight . Doubt I will get to my target goal of level 54 but I've gone beyond my minimum goal of the salamander den . I've posted in the SOS thread but if anyone would be kind enough to send me any extra drops that would be great . Not sure how anyone can achieve Level 100 even if they played on it 24 hours a day??!!

 

Almost the same as fifi: 61 games played, 9850 points on level 40 but since this morning waiting for more crops as somehow growing event crops on 2 fields and mid timed (9-10 hrs) crops on 1 field during the day and mid timed crops overnight on all 3 fields fields made me going short on event crops. Go figure…

I don't think I will complete the event Two days I wasn't home to log in to my farm.
So I have played 30 games and reached 22 level in the prize list.

I just played 59 games for a total of 9,510 pts. On step 39. Don't know how that really fairs but guess I will have to take it !! I have confirmed that at heart I am not really a true risk taker. I will sit and stare at those dice trying to decide what is the best thing to do Then I have to tell myself, "It's only a game!! No money is involved! " Congrats and Good Luck everyone!!

 

I have the cloud row. I finished 68 game and finished level 38 on the prizes. I don't play the game very well, but do like the prizes, so I keep going.

 

Got the CR, got the salamander's den. I'm done, too far away from any red stables and I need to get some grow time for the FSQ.

i played 54 games right now and at step 37 in prize list... I really want that skateboard factory at step 44. I already know i wont get that quill pen at step 54. But after i just played my 10 games i just milled to get 54 games... i doubt i will get the skateboard one.. Oh well had fun playing games...lol

 

Played 77 games but only completed 42 levels so no good pens for me. Over 4,000 crops left over despite refined raspberries at night.

 

Just 690 points short of reaching my end goal of the quill workshop . I have already bought 2 lots of shakers and that is more than enough of my BB's which I don't usually use for events as they are a treat every now and then and I like to make them last a while. If anyone has a spare quill workshop they would be kind enough to trade at a future G&T please igm and I will hopefully have something worthy to trade with.

 

I managed it to Level 49 was aiming to level 50, they should not have bothered with Levels 51 to 99. I doubt anyone got Craeve of Gold from this event Played 88 games

 

I made it through lv 46, played 77 games, 0 shakers left and 6700 crops. I agree, mooboy, lvs 51-99 were a dream but I did get nice gifts Congrats to all!! Just read the FAQ's for the next event. Not doing the left side !! That's crazy !!

 

I was quite surprised with the number of drops received from chicken pens (and carrots) both at the start of the event and the end. The chicken pens were about 17 neon and 25 pink and the rest plain.

As a junker I have tended to activate CAC immediately many times in the past. I have not done so at the start of recent events. Also, there are days left over when CAC has not been used at all.

The farmer_broke farm did get the cloud row and I have no idea what it will do or does.

I also found all that nuking to be quite unnecessary. I am going to reevaluate prior actions.

Although I have not been preparing the farmer_broke farm in advance for events anymore, I do read carefully your initial experiences with drops and consider carefully what is shared.

I got the cloud rows on both farms...and went as far as I could with the right side progression. Always happy to get whatever I can on events like this... Yahtzee!

Many of you have read and studied the faqs of this event. The farmer_broke farm is a low class junker outfit. There is a lot of discussion about not being able to go but so far.

I'm certainly not reading through that event faqs now. Could a player have bought with RL funds their way up to the highest level?
