I think there is enough time to play the 40 games needed don't worry about starting a day late

Some muppet got it into her head that there was no drop item for this event , hence my fields were not in the slightest prepared to reap the drops. Never mind - will plant refined carnations overnight to catch up!

I finished playing 15 games and completed 11 steps. Short of drops. So I have put refined carnation as overnight crop.

I tried going for three of a kind or four of a kind or flush with an eye open for possibility of other rare combinations. I try to do combination with new numbers each time. That is if it is 4 of a kind with number 3, then next time I go for 4 of a kind with number 2 or so. Therefore for each new combination you get 100 points extra with their combination points. So you can leap up. What strategy do you follow, decree ? or what strategy do others follow and how is your progress ?

 

I realized after I made my post that I was including those extra bonus points in you points per game average. I've been able to play the game 20 times so far. My strategy is the same as yours. I try going to the flush, and will take whatever I can get on my way to that goal. So far my results are terrible. When subtracting the bonus points I am averaging only 121 points per game.

Results from 20 games played:

5 Pairs
2 Three of a Kind
6 Full House
4 Four of a Kind
1 Small Straight
2 Large Straight

From what I've seen, I almost always get a pair on the first roll. Then the subsequent two rolls haven't filled in numerous times. 2-3 of the pairs were due to having two pair and trying to get the easier FH for more points only to roll a different number. My first ten games had 4 of the pairs, and my second ten only had 1 pair, so either my luck is improving or I was able to adapt to the dice better. I'm very interested in hearing other farmers results.

 

well since it started till now only have 5 game of dice to use.. Drops for me right now is not good at all... I will be very lucky as of this post to make it to 40 games... Maybe this is one event I wont be able to do...

 

Played 29 games, got 5270 points in total (bonusses included) and made it to 21 out of 72 prizes. Didn't keep track of indiviual results nor did I use a specific strategy. Here no Flush either. Not yet

 

Got 1 flush, played so far 15 games (tot score of 2970 with bonuses). For some reason I got so focused on only doing the once I didn't have so I might have missed a few rewards.. is that possible ? I have 2 Nothings on my list before the penny dropped.

I'm really enjoying this mini game, much more than I usually do.

 

I played 17 games and made it to #11 Good thing I don't do this for a living!! Hopefully I will improve Have fun everyone!!

If you have two pair after the first roll, IMHO it is better to keep just one pair and try to get a third (or more!) rather than keeping two pair and trying to get a full house.....

 

I won't attempt to write a poem about it but thanks to your post I sure do remember how I learnt to do chance calculations in highschool... It was like:

Q: When you have a single dice, the chance to roll a 1 is 1 in 6. You have two dices. Calculate the chance of rolling both your dices and get a 4, 5 and 6 in sequence.

I understood the first part right away but after that..
I know eventually I did get it right but by now I'm too old to even recall the maths for an answer

All in all, to stay on topic: the best strategy after the first throw IMHO is to go by your guts. Given the result what do the dice tell you to do?

I have been doing that but I usually end up with only the pair so I get the low points.

Hope this is random and my luck will change later.

 

Flush achieved! I kept the first pair I got and then just kept rolling - luck was on my side. So it can be done so long as lady luck favours you at the time! I'm also quite good with the full house; sometimes I keep both pairs and sometimes I discard one and roll, so no strategy at all on my part.

 

Am I the only who plays and still haven't understood the game?
I have no idea what to do

Edit: Played it with my brother and now I think I can understand it.
But how can I get a flush?

Second edit: Ι just got 3 so I had a flush! Seems like a fun game after all

Moving in a tortoise rate. Drops, drops..... are the problem.
