Delayed start. How bothersome. I would even go so far as to say 'irksome!' Very. It is 4am NZDT. These events usually kick off at 2am. I have harvested my long crop - for the drops that I have now missed. Humph. Double humph.

 

Althou it's a pity for the event(s) delay, it's quite an improvement to notice the game team now does test and troubleshoot prior to going live with new coding.

 

The snake eyes events are always a favorite of mine.

I just want to say to the IT team - take your time. Get it right. It's okay. A day or two of normal farming is always appreciated. We farmers would much rather have a smooth functioning event than a glitchy one.

Here in the US, it's Thanksgiving Eve...so I'd like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the folks at BP that keep this game up and running for us!

 

I second the above posts, that I'm glad to see a delay while they sort things out, than a glitchy event. And I would also like to add my thanks to all of the hard working people who make Farmerama fun, devs and mods and anyone else!

 

I totally agree. I was unable to farm when the event was due to start yesterday and was all set to start this morning. Although I was momentarily disappointed, as do enjoy most events, I too am happy that the team made the decision not to go with an event that might annoy rather than amuse.
The plus factor is being able to work on some FSQs while the problems are sorted out.
I would also like to add my thanks to everyone working so hard to keep our beloved game going.

 

Right. I need to find something to complain about, in this event.

1.Reasons for the delay.

Hmmm. Seems perfectly logical.

2.Length of event. Maybe we have lost a day or two! That would be a good complaint!

Nope. Still six days and twelve hours. No complaint there.

3. Performance and graphics;- are they up to scratch?
Both are extremely good! Nct.

4. Compensation!
A CAC, some supergrow and a EP giver. Hmmm, I could complain about the EP giver but that would be extremely pedantic. (do you get it? extremely pe...)

5. I am running out of options here. ... I have Got It!

I would like to complain that I have Nothing to complain about!!

Edit: I especially liked that there was a prize every 250 points, throughout the list. Without referring to the list constantly, I just knew when the next prize was due, regardless of what it was, and without the spacings getting longer and longer as I progressed ....

 

While I enjoy the snake eyes events as a whole I also believe that if you need to breed to get a drop item (even a premium drop item) there should be a corresponding power feed sale, if not both a power feed sale and BB. codyj #44475068

 

I am enjoying this event. I was resigned to not being able to get to the really big prizes but decided just to play the game for fun and do what I can. I haven't had any luck with the Farm Wheel, so it has been just using my own resources. I am nearly halfway through at this stage but that's okay.
Prizes are good and the trickster is not too greedy - sometimes I get a decent score in one throw.
I am happy that this event was delayed so that the mechanics are working as they should. Good move devs and planners.

 

Ya know I too hate late starts too. As we plan. But yes I too also rather a late start with same time or maybe more.. The game team even gives a package for the delay of this event Plus kept the same timeline. Thank you game team.

I see BP has been giving us more packages, due to issues NO fault of thier own. I do hope they keep that in mind even when all bugs is fixed from changing over. Cause that is so important. They stopped it years ago.. They need to keep this pattern of trust in us as they expect us to trust them.

No matter how small the issue.. if you delay, or a known issues while event is going and no extra time.. then a package does help. But if issues with events running, it helps to keep players with a bonus for the event.. or you just give extra game time.

Yes we are now on a new platform and the TECHs are so ever busy fixing major and minor bugs.. We so understand your issues.. But while BP still wants back to back events.. Ya not only fixing bugs for event but same time still fixing normal game play.

BP never lose sight of us players when the techs fixes all the bugs. Cause I have this funny feeling.. when all dust settles, ya will resume to no packages when a error in your part happens..
