I am at lvl 78 so for me the Ice flowers were new and very pretty! :) As with everyone else I too was having trouble with the drops and I don't have all the bells and whistles, ie Howie donut, magic tree and the like, but I have finished all of task 5 and 6 WOO HOO! :) I am now going back for what ever I can get before time runs out! I liked the FSQ design, and I used my Main field and green meadow, with trees and a few pens on both. They helped with the drops on my farm! :) I hope everyone finishes what they set out to do and or get. Remember this IS A GAME so enjoy and have fun! Thanks BP I thought this was fun and the designs are great as usual! Nice job :)

A nice medium event, apparently designed so most could participate successfully; with the only difficulty being the uncertain drop counts.

Prizes were nice for most players (PF before a breeding event is very much appreciated) and I enjoyed not having to rush to finish. While a wolf den wasn't exciting for me, there are many newer players who might really like to get one.

I like the new givers very much and was happy to get another Christmas tree!

This event was ok for me. The drops weren't bad considering that we could only get them from the 3 mainland fields. I appreciated not having a mill item this time so I could keep my mill queue full. I personally like the wolf den, I didn't have one yet. :inlove: I like the decos, just no room for them at present. Considering I know there is another event closer to Christmas, this was a nice one to not have to do anything but grow crops and get drops.

Must have been unlucky. Miles short on drops. Will end needing another 100 at least. Been farming every hour so could not have done much more.

I likes the event. The pace for me was a awkward at times since I couldn't always be there right away when a 4 hour crop was ready. However there was enough time to work around it and get through the event. Appreciate that at this busy time of year.

I also really liked the older prizes especially the Xmas 2011 tree (the one that gives ornaments), while I did have 1 already, a 2nd will be helpful for the FSQ that need them. I was finding it very slow 4 at a time. I hope future events will also bring back older and rare events from time to time. I'm thinking groundhogs, owls, masks, picnic blankets to name a few I would like to get. Pretty please!!!:p;)

i enjoyed the event and the prizes although due to lack of time I skipped some of the first and second level. The Christmas tree deco item was only giving a low EP and I already had a snow globe that another player sent me one B&G event but thats not important. The other prizes were really useful. The last few events have been heavy going to get the cloud rows and finished so this one gave a bit of breathing space!. For future prizes we could do with some new recipes to keep us interested in the Artisan Village, thank you.

Sorry Farmerama but I found this event repetitive & brain numbing .... sow harvest .. sow harvest... sow harvest ....change to over night crop.... to get the PATHETIC amount of daily drops .... NEXT day... back to sow harvest again :sleepy: No content

The older events were great and more exciting and the rewards were good ...was worth working for... to get the recipes for the artisans

It was nice to get the tree and den - drops as usual were low but with a little help from my friends:music: I squeeked in this am to finish. liked the mechanism of previous event being able to harvest anything anywhere but variety is the spice of life.
Thanks for the PF have a feeling this breeding event - hope we can get one of those reindeers to complete FSQ:inlove:

Drop rate ridiculously low, restricted to only 3 growing and drop fields wasn't very fair to lower level players, prizes were not all that great, no cloud row. This event left a bad taste in my mouth. Wasn't much fun for me, could/should have been better:sleepy:
And IMO, events without cloud rows are worse than FSQs without stars! >:(

I started early, 360 plants in no time to start a field before I left for work, but the drop rate for the event plant was so bad I alternated between high ep crops. Still didn't finish because of the drops. when you have to get 15000 plants with piddly drops and come up with 785 of them...I don't know whose calculator they used. So I did the usual; dive in and take the givers and leave it at that. I'm neutral on this, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either.

I found the drop rate poor from the required Ice Flower crop. However, drops from workshops and stalls were pretty good...Though I still needed help through the SOS thread:( I almost finished the event. Thank you to all BTW:)
I appreciate the "quest' approach as it gives players with a RL to attend to, an opportunity to decide what they can attain and change their minds if needed.
Prizes were fair....I state it like that because this was an EVENT!! During an event I expect mind blowing prizes!! Not prizes that have to be recycled back into the event such as "buffs" (SG Etc) so the player has a chance to finish the event. At least offer buffs with mind blowing amounts! How about offering a stall that is "new" such as the Swan Stable or one that is really rare like the "Reindeer" for example? OR offer the players a choice (have a pop up window displaying a choice of prizes!).

I found this events prizes comparable to the regular quests that are available in the Farmers Society

Higher level players need their minds blown! xDxDxDxDxDxDxD

I do love my Big Top Dragon!!! :inlove:

    Just saying...

I found drop rates for mittens were quite poor. Got the EP givers :)even though I would have like to actually finish the event getting all SG, SSG, Party tickets and all the other goodies :( but I did not have enough mittens

finished the event with a few hours to spare and very happy with the gifts I got. My drop rate was good but I do have the Living legend full trophies in place. It was nice not to rush to get another cloud row. The deco items are good earners, except for the christmas tree so I may put that on my cloud row somewhere. I think it as fairer for newer players too in that it was not as difficult as other events, so it was good to have a change. Higher level players can then decide if they want to do the event or just take the prizes they choose, the game should not just be for those at a higher level. Thanks for the fun and prizes. I agree with the above couple of comments in that offering a reindeer stable would be great around Christmas time and also we desperately need some new recipes as baking is getting a bit stale *lol*

This event was a bit troublesome because of the drops but overall not bad. I liked that you got 2 Christmas Trees, a little one suitable for a random cloud row 1x1 space and the Christmas Tree 2011 Ornament giver. I like that some of the older items were given although I already had them!
I am not sure that very low level players would have been able to complete but being able to do various levels (completing the silver levels first of course) meant they could perhaps get what they wanted.
Drops were mean and just before Christmas I think BP could have been more generous - pretty please.
Overall I give this 7 out of 10.

I liked the event and found it pretty stress free on the most part. Of course it took longer to get the drops since we could only get them from 3 fields but that made it challenging to me. I have no problem with planting long overnight crops to increase drop rates with a short time event crop for the day. I was happy with the prizes especially the PF. :D I also quite liked having an opportunity to get the 2011 Christmas tree and loved the purple dragon. :inlove:

Personally my free time is very limited during the Holiday season so the slow pace of this event was just fine for me.

Oh and the ice flowers were just gorgeous, one of my favorites by far. :)
