Sorting Neighbours and Buddies

On my other farm I now have over 300 farmers in my mailing/gifting list. I like the fact that my neighbours are first and in the order of their level but it is a nightmare trying to find a
non-neighbour's name in the following pages.

Is there a way that neighbours and buddies can be put into separate lists and perhaps the buddies can be sorted alphabetically? It would really help during events!

Once again I have spent what seems a lifetime trying to find names of buddies so I can send them gifts during an event. It would be useful if those players who are not our neighbours but are our buddies could be sorted alphabetically or by how active they are so that we could easily find them in the list of hundreds of names. I have lots of names of people who no longer play in my buddies list. I don't want to delete them all (I have fond memories of many of them) but it is longwinded trying to find a specific farmer. I sometimes think that I have not gifted a particular farmer, go in to send a message and make them a buddy and find they already are! Back to the list!

Please let us have a sort option.

Wouldn't also be nice to exist a search box in our friend list? It will be so easier to find someone by typing his/her name.

 

If you go to the post office and access the friend list there, you can sort them by user name and send gifts from there There used to be a bug so that you had to exit and reenter the post office between each gift, so I haven't used that option much. But the bug should be fixed now (have forgotten to check myself)

Still doesn't help if you want to send artisan products, or during G&T, so a sort/search function would be great

 

I use the post office and find I have to send the gift and then click and unclick the players name before I can send to someone else. But I still agree with the first suggestion - imagine how much easier gift and trade would be too!

 

I only gift from the news page because once the gifting window is open, it remains open, and I only have to look through the buddy list. I send gifts to my neighbors in order so I like that they are first, but yes, I agree, it would be nice if we could somehow sort our buddies. With more than 20 pages of people to hunt through, I often find I overlook them the first run through (and sometimes the 2nd).

 

depends what list you use. the main list for gifting in your post office is sorted my neighbours first, then friends are sorted in the order you added them. you message list can be sorted by level or alphabetically, you neighbour bar is sorted by level.
How many other ways to sort do you want?
