SOS Carnival Queen Event Drop Items/Paper Strips

What a wonderful surprise, woke us this morning to a huge pile of Paper Strips! Now Illy only needs another 42 Paper Strips (easily achieved with Garlic and Lemon Grass planted) so Illy will definitely be coming to the party! No more help needed here. Thank you all so much.

Chevre is a little behind but not by much - needs 92 Paper Strips - Hazelnuts and Ginger will knock a bit off that total but if anyone has a spare gift, it would be appreciated.

I started the event late and can not possibly complete any float to the top; How can I get more amaranth ...!?
Even though I played the game long long time ago (4 years give or take), I consider my self new to it since I remember nothing of it.
Any suggestions and help will be appreciated.
I'm pretty sure I will run out of strips when I harvest my next amaranth.

hi i just pulled my long term crops could only make 7 paper macke need drops if anyone has any left paper strips 105 paper needed done thank you all for helping

Paper strip drops on farm have massively dropped, was averaging 40+ drops per harvest, now lucky to get 20! Please please send to me!

To those still struggling with the paper drops, if you're done growing amaranth and have the refinements for roses, you can get a lot of drops quickly by growing refined roses on comfort fields. Make sure to activate your flower cloud row if you have it, eat fruitcake and white innocence BEFORE you plant, and use SG, water and manure. I was over 300 drops short yesterday, and was able to get all I needed in two rounds of roses on all 3 fields. And the SG you use you'll get back and more in the parade. That being said, I'll send help to as many as I can . Good luck everyone!

This farm needs just one more Paper Strip and I have two fields of Garlic to harvest so I have made it ... almost!

Chevrefeuille is just milling the last lot of Paper Mache so a big THANK YOU! to everyone who saved my bacon on this event.

BUDZ has also asked me to thank you all. BUDZ is a couple away from finishing so no need to send any more Paper Strips.

 

I am cutting it close on all my farms with drops (paper sheets): 4 hours left​

I tried different sized plots, SG, speeding up harvesting time, etc. but all farms seem to be progressing approximately at the same rate. I had heard that it was best to use the 1x1 plots because of the increased drops but they appear to be giving less than a comfort field with SG and about the same as a 1x2 planted field. I probably should have tore up all my fields as soon as the event started but I hate tearing them apart.
I will probably be kicking myself if I don't make it to the end to catch candy from the monkey because I have lots of candy baskets.

Appreciate any help with paper sheets as time is running out. Don't think any crops I plant now will provide many drops as I haven't obtained plant refinements from the greenhouse.

UPDATE:
Well none of my farms were able to finish. nm56 was the closest but it was 14 drops short of completion. I know I made a mistake by not removing at lease one of my animal pen fields but this event it seemed that the drops were really bad. The post said we would need to average 150/day but I was getting 8-12 for each field that I harvested with the event crop. I also had 3 farms so some used 1x1, some used 1x2, some used comfort fields, and some used comfort with SG - the drop rate seemed to be the same except for the comfort field with SG was a little better.

I originally wasn't going to do this event but the prizes were nice and I especially wanted the trees and wonder stables. I also wanted the stables and GB's from the candy throw at the end but I didn't make it.

I also noticed toward the end of the event that the drop rate was better for non-event crops (Hibiscus and Coffee). When I did not have time to plant the higher level crops I planted Fennel and surprisingly it had a better drop rate than the event crop or some of my main field crops (crop circle, pumpkin, etc.).
