SOS Comic #6 Event Drops/Light Strings

I have 189 of the last 450 lights, so I still need 261 in 31 hours.

A bit shout out to all of you who helped out so much these past few days. You all are the best!!

 

I am 56 short of my goal...any help with lights would be greatly appreciated!!!

 

I tried to send you an IGM. It says you don't exist. Is your forum name the same as your farm name?

 

Just completed the event. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to the generous farmers who sent me lights and made sure all the time I spent growing event crops did not go to waste. Thank you so much!

 

Just a few notes on players for those of us who are gifting last minute...

@CaliChrome ~ I could not find grllvs2hnt's farm name. It appears from this post that she changed it when she first logged into the new forum.

From what I can see here, most of those who asked for help managed to finish the event - which is great. Some haven't come back to tell us how they did but I think, with the extra time given, they had a really good chance to make it.

So congratulations everybody and thanks to all those who gave a helping hand.

 

Got so excited about managing to finish the event with all the help that was given by the community, that I posted in the strategy thread and forgot to post here.

Thanks again for the help that helped me to finish this event.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU!! to illy1996 for continuing to post the SOS threads every event for the newer players to come and get help and even advice/strategies/reminders from longer term players and also for some of us older players that need an occasional helping hand ourselves. Thank you for what you do and hope you continue doing what you do for a long time to come!!

I'm glad this thread continues to be successful - and it is all down to those generous (and very modest) farmers who give, give, give! I cannot thank them enough! You all know who you are!

 

I didn't finish the event but thanks to all that helped me, I managed to finish 4 and get the secret stables So thank you all for your help

 

Thank you everybody so much for your help. I ended up receiving upwards of 78 lights from other farmers so a great big thank you to absolutely everybody for their generosity.

Thanks CJAT for that little note. It's true that I have had exams this past week but I didn't want to be losing these great prizes for them so I tried to balance my time. Which brings me to my little apology. I'd just like to say sorry particularly to those I snapped at regarding watering my plants. I spoke more harshly than I intended to. I was a little frustrated that some farmers didn't really seem willing to accept and respect a decision that I had made for my own farm. I felt like I shouldn't have to explain myself to be respected for the choices I make. I guess with the stress of exams that frustration compounded and I lost it. I'm very sorry. I'm not trying to justify my actions in any way, but I also think it's important that you know where I came from and why. So particularly to those farmers who I was semi-talking to, I'd like to do anything I can to make it up to you. I'm happy to send gifts or personalised apologies to anybody who needs/wants them. I know I wasn't exactly the nicest person last time I was around here on the forum and I don't want to start giving people the (wrong) impression that I'm still like that. Because I'm not. So I'm sorry. Please don't hate me
