The The Talk of the Town Event starts TOMORROW and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

The (very rough) estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is:

236 Soaring Seeds

Always remember to save your gifts till after the event starts so you can start to send event items straight away!

If you need anything else for the event, ask for it here.

Please note:

My main farm (Illy1996) usually manages to get all drops. If I do need help, I will post here.

IF YOU RECEIVE GIFTS FROM CHEVREFEUILLE OR CHEVREFEUILE, PLEASE DO NOT SEND GIFTS BACK - THESE FARMS WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING IN ANY EVENTS IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
So If you receive gifts from either of my farms, please do not send gifts to either of them.

If you want to return the favour, send to someone else asking for help.

Hello. I am in need of tools so I can build my confectionary. For the event I could use help with the soaring seeds. Thank you. I have gone as far as I can in this event so I won't need any more soaring seeds. Thanks to all those awesome players who helped with the drops. This is the first event that I have really been able to participate in. Farmerama People are the greats!!! Luck to all with this event and Happy Farming

 

Please note I have adjusted the daily average requirement of Soaring Seeds as I managed to miss 300 of the little darlings! Sorry!

 

Somehow I have wound up waaaay short of drops! I guess it's because I'm a new farm and still have a few yellows on my non-event fields...but I also have lots of red and oranges, and even 3 pinks, so I'm puzzled, as other posters have had pretty good results.
Anyway, for whatever reason, I could reallllly use a lot of h-e-l-p!!! Pretty pleeeeease???Let me know if you'd like a return gift. Thank you!

A biiiiiiiiiiiiiggg Thank You to all who have sent drops!!

Still in dire need of them, unfortunately. I currently have approx. 1400+ crops and only 3 drops left - not enough to get even one of the curtains that I am ready to get!

I have a good mix of red, orange, and pink pens (and one yellow dog pen!), trees, and reg. crops on the non-event crop fields. Just cannot figure out why the drops are not dropping on this farm!

Anyway, I am very grateful to you all who have helped!!

Edit: Thought all you lovely farmers who have helped might like a progress report: 2,931 crops; 33 drops.
(I think the drop rate is broken on this farm.)

Just to say that LillyMae2016, who posted above, is a newly fledged chick of mine. I'm helping her out with CAC but as she's new I suggested she post here for help with drops.

Hi everyone! This is my first time trying an event as I'm a new player. I could really use some help with drops. I'll gift you drops or send you something else as a gift in return. Let me know what you need.

 

Latest harvest update: crops: 3,379; beads: 7; scissors: 3; drops: 2 What a ridiculous dilemma!! I have two "curtains" surrounded, but cannot get them...100 drops all at once is juuuust out of reach each harvest - but at least I've gotten a few good gifts, and am poised to pounce on those elusive 'curtains'!. Lol!
Many of you have been sending drops that have made this possible, and I'm so grateful! It makes all the effort worthwhile!!

I like this event overall, but, for me, it has also been an exercise in frustration. Maybe next harvest....or the next...or........
I am really glad so many have been able to finish!!
It's a pretty crop. It would be nice to add it to our permanent crops...

 

Hi Lily Pink This is your Newest Farm. Since struggling to get Drops on this Farm. How Far have you gone to upgrade Animal and Crop Trophies to move them from Field to Field to harvest crops Eventually need to activate the Living Legend Rune save you moving around these Trophies.

In the meantime Newbies need to unlock the Highest Crops that gives the Best Drops. Also to work on Crop Refinements too. Or it can be done to just keep harvesting your farm as often you can too. But Newbie Farmers might not have Cloud Rows, Buffs or Howie Donuts that Boost Event Drops. Perhaps this is one of reasons why your Drop Rate it not as good as you hoped...

 

Thank you, Mooboy. Yes, that is part of it. Not a Howie Donut in sight! I've switched to growing roses as I finally got a 6% increase in water effectiveness refinement, and my trophies are both @ 9%. Still do not have the right cloud rows, though. Annnnnd....I keep forgetting to move those silly trophies!! Thank you for reminding me!


Current harvest update: crops: 4,053; beads: 8; scissors: 1; drops: 25.

Edit: Just got another refinement for roses - reduces growing time by 7.5%!! Yes!!

Edit: Yes!! Just got my 2nd 'curtain'!! 2 down, 2 to go!!

Harvest results now: crops: 5,951; beads: 6; scissors: 0; drops: 5

WooHoo!! Finally got a curtain!! Only 70 drops and one curtain left to go!!

Oh, I'm so nervous now! Do you think I can make the last curtain before the clock runs out???!Next harvest just after 2:00a.m., then one more to go.....

If I do make it, it will only be because of all you wonderful farmers, friends, and neighbors who are helping so much - and really making a huge difference!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

I think I've got it......just have to wait to keep harvesting other things until I get the last few drops.

Now for the comedy part...it's after 2a.m., and I'm falling asleep!! Next harvest, (and end of Event @ 8a.m.) - 7a.m(hopefully!).........to be continued....

Hi all, I need 72 to finish to receive the last curtain. Anyone that can help would be appreciated. I do have some gifts left I can return if you are in early. Thanks again.

 

A big thank you and lots of love to all those who helped with the drops.Couldn't get the final curtain.lesson learnt:nothing should beleft for the last minute may be next time I will turn lucky and get what I want out of the event.
