Yes, it's a lot of trees for new people but... by the time a player gets to... turkeys, lambs, and piglets... they shouldmost player would be able to afford the CCs and would already have that many trees. If not it will be good for their farm, in the long term, to buy them. It's been a really long time but we used to have Mega Tree EP day a couple times a year. If we have it again it helps to have enough trees for the whole farm. Taking the time to put them out... whole other story.

That is what I calculated but... I was thinking last time I logged on to a surprise BBD and had to frantically load the Love Shacks and use the CR, PJelly and pheromones to get it done in time. I was thinking it happened earlier in the day but... I could be completely wrong. LOL!

I cleared two fields and planted trees this morn. Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get my tree branches. No worry! I have 5 more days to get it done. If I get 66 * 5 from my two fields I'll be happy. 222 drops / 6 = 37 per day, maybe one whole field is enough to get all the drops in one day. One and a half fields for trees would be safer.
I still have a few cuckoos to finish for the CR, I'll add them to the pile...

Gaura Yes Baby Boom has Started. I have done all Breeding to get all of the need Baby Breeding Animals. I Have just completed this Event.

Tip for Newbies I would Sell all Crops selling for good CC for this Event. Use all Proceeds of CC to Purchase Trees from The Stores. This will Help Speed up Drops of Tree Branches.

But Buying Trees from Island Store is far more Pricey. SuzeeRabbit We Have Mega EP Day Every Month. I Think you was Talking about Happy Tree Mini Event as we not had this Mini Event for couple of years. This Event Gives us 5 X EP on All Trees. Using Buffs and Pets can get Super Mega EP. But we not longer have a Happy Tree Day Event any more it would be nice if it made a come back !!

So happy, I finally managed to start the event right! I had all my trees out and the breeding hutch loaded with all the animals needed. Even remembered to harvest 1 chicken breeding and go activate the machinery. So proud of myself!!!

The challenge is going to be waiting patiently until tomorrow to harvest trees again. It's going to seem like such a looooong wait

 

Don't forget your 12 hour upper level trees Shiny.Sparkle. You should get another tree harvest today. Good luck.

 

Just got up a bit ago, of course had to harvest right away. All my seedlings netted me some nice trees, XXL Goji, XXL Pitomba, XXL Acai, XXL Seagrape (several of each) were the highlights of Baha, mainland got a nice little mix of XXLs and XL, plus a Black Willow, which I was hoping for. Only managed to get 62 tree branches tho, for all that. Not worried, tho, plenty of time to get all that's needed, so don't think I'll rearrange my two fields of stables just yet. bearbabe has mostly all trees with one field of chickens and a handful of other pens, got 130 branches there, plus somehow managed to win 100% harvest bonus on a party spin, before I harvested, even! All that nice tree fruit going straight in my barn.

 

I know I said I was thinking of sitting this one out, but persistent FOCD won once again and I decided to put out all of my (20 hr) tree inventory yesterday AM and see how the drops were going to do before I decided to either do the event or move on to greener pastures since there is no CR as a prize this time . I did want to get as much breeding done as possible tho during this short BBD since I missed the last short one entirely.

Wellllll.... let's just say the skips were pretty much pathetically non existent AGAIN , but the drops were more than kind, IMO ... 136 tree branches from my first harvest, and I only have enough trees to cover a little less than 4 fields, total. I made sure I used a Pineapple Cake to cash in on the extra Baha tree fruits (hope everyone else remembered to do this as well).

Sooooo... I've decided that since it looks like I'll only need one more harvest to get the rest of my drops, other than the already standing XXLs and XLS that are out on my feilds I am not going to bother adding the rest of my tree upgrades (I'm lazy)... I'll just wait another 20 hrs, harvest everything again tomorrow to finish up my drops... then do the rest of my milling and finish the event.

Not the most fun, exciting or challenging event, nor does it award the best prizes... but at least I still have a PF reserve, I'll win some other valuable goodies, I managed to gain a few meager additions to my stock of breeding animals, and I'm building up my tree fruit reserves. And after a couple more tree harvests I'll rip up most of the trees, refill my fields with pens and workshops and go back to milling feed again until I have to rip it all up again lol.

Doc425, thanks for the reminder!! I don't have many upgraded trees yet but will make sure to harvest those I do.

 

hmm .. 40 XXL trees, 12 hrs = 9 branches.

 

While breeding the necessary animals for required babies for event....I drifted over to breed a few dogs & mice. Woo Hoo...I received a Shelia Inu from 4 reg. doggies!!!! So thrilled!
Now I'm also waiting for my next tree harvest in 7 hours for more branches. I wish I could just prune some to get them faster.
habahaha - So sorry about your poor yield of branches. What percentage are your trophies at?

 

Near All my Trees was 20 Hour Trees, No XXL or XL Trees. Plus They were my Highest EP Trees I had in my Barn too as this Gives you Better Drops of Tree Branches.

My Advice not to bother with XXL or XL Trees put put out your Highest EP Giver Trees. I done it other way round to rip out most of my Farm that did not have Trees Replace them with Better Trees. 252 Tree Branches on 1st and only Harvest i do not use Auto Tree Harvest.

Mooboy, I'm so sick of selling corn now. I don't even want ccs. But my poor chickens are all flying the coop. Add the sunflowers, whatever bouquet it is to get more sunflowers hasn't even been touched yet. Sickening now. Trees waiting to be harvested. I need salespeople and farmhands. I really need the neighborhood kids. I just want um to spend money .... I'll make it.

Once again, I was at work during Baby Boom and so I missed out. Oh well. All fields are full of trees with the exception of one which is animals..... First time ever, I've got all my trees out.. !! Thank you illy1996 for the figures, stop talking down about yourself, you are fantastic. I for one am grateful that you did the figuring for us!! Thank you my dear!

 

How fortuitous that when I purchased some Party Spins that I hit the 200% EP Bonus and remembered to throw out a Pineapple Cake and Carrot Cake before harvesting my Trees and Pens. Nothing spectacular to report in today's mini BBD.

Don't feel all alone. I set my breeder up so it was all ready to go when the BB started. Then I laid down for a nap. I figure at 4am I've got plenty of time till 9am when the BB starts. SLEPT right through the whole thing!
