I have something like 150 trees total. Started with 100 trees this morning, and only had 10 branches. Bought 50 cheap crap apple trees from the store and so far have 4 more tonight with about 30 to go. I'm working crops and I got a fair number of the animals during the Boom. Sent out branches as presents to neighbors. Hope I get some back, feeling pretty bummed.

I am not a veteran and I don't pretend to know as much as the veterans, but if I were you I would buy all the apple and walnut trees I could afford and put them out.

If you need CCs grow corn, or potatoes and sell it for a low price and it will sell fast. That way you will have enough CCs to buy more trees, thus getting more drops. If you have enough money, buy the more expensive trees, but make sure you leave yourself enough CCs to pay the 10% market tax on what you are selling. :sleepy::)
Don't hesitate to use the SOS thread. I would bet almost everyone has needed help at some time. I know I have. :p Try not to get discouraged. You still have a lot of time and anything you get from the event is a bonus. :music::music:

Some of the wiser veterans may be able to give you some more, better advice. Good luck :):)

Don't worry guara, there's plenty of time 'til the end of the event, I firmly believe you'll do fine. Are you on Baha yet? If you are, I would suggest putting out all the Baha trees you can, for some reason they seem to do really well with drops. And don't forget, harvest your park before you go tree harvesting, count to 10, then go harvest all your trees. It's supposed to help with drops. And yes, the SOS thread is an excellent resource, even us long time players need it once in a while, so there's no reason to feel conspicuous about using it.;):)

gaura - I see you are at Baha 26. If you have the banana tree open, I would suggest purchasing them to improve drops; they also sell good on the market which will increase your CC's. As spotsbox said, make sure all your Baha trees are put out; they really do well with drops. Doc has also given you good advice about growing crops for quick sale, which will help with tree purchases.
You have plenty of time to go in the event, so don't be upset. :) I have you on my list to send drops.

Spots! Will you and that barebabe farm of yours stop sending those twigs to this farm! Will ya? I harvested today and got over 200 twigs. All fields full of trees, I even put out a couple of hundred Moriga trees and maybe 350 sap and when I harvest again in two or three days that will give me the 5 or 10 I need. Just stop it! Go play with your high priced chickens or something. Gosh!

This event is really a good example of why I choose to let barns empty many times and stay out that market. Strawberry has been called for recently. I took a little bit but stayed out and kept my 470,000 strawberries. I'm not sitting this one out because the barns are empty anyway so I may as well take a few coins.

Same thing with corn! During the mouse movement, I took a little bit and got out and kept 500,000. Well, looks like its time to go back in and take a little more. Same thing, let the cheap corn empty and let farmers hassle for the change. No hassle now!

(Between us here, you know there was a call a while back for tulips. Now a couple fo calls for strawberry. Takes 4 tulips and 3 strawberry for bee feed. Bees have not been touched lately. hint hint hint But I did clear out all the cheap bee feed a few times just in case I might want to produce a bee or two or three or 15 thousand.)

Celery is another story but I see something developing and the numbers indicate it too. Celery is used in elephant feed, apples are too and apples have been called for a couple of times recently, pictures of a breeding elephant appeared in the grapevine long ago and before the BAHA Rainforest was added which can support production. (Fennel is the other crops and has not been bothered with yet has doubled in price dduring the last year.) BAHA is long long long overdue for a breeding animal. Parrot is not indicating such a strong acquisition although price has risen and apples are also used in the feed (and grapes have been ignored for a while.) Mills can easily keep up with crop production for elephant feed though.

And stop sending those twiggs for me to have to clean up! WOW

Wheat called for again. Wheat and corn lead to cow feed. How convenient not needed for this event.

Barns are filling with breeding animals too. Just as the mouse called for level 4 breeding animals I would expect there to be others to shortly follow.

Event requirements no trouble ,,,,,,,,,, harvesting continues to be. I'll try and get better. ........ one day!

By putting out all my trees was able to compete the event rapidly. Woohoo! Back to doing my normal farming before next event. I think the challenge of this event is for new farmers with fewer trees. I agree with what others have said if you are having problems with drops by all the trees you can afford.

@Sandollar15 I still am prepared. The babies are sitting there cooking till the next BBd.

My wife took advantage of the mini BBD and got all of her babies. Now she's waiting for the branches to make the diapers.
I'll just have all my diapers before the babies get here. Not nearly as messy that way. :p

Milling the last diapers and done with the event, too. Quick and not at all painful. :)

Congratulations to all that have finished!
Good luck to all that are still trying!

No doing any calculations. Just harvesting, milling and donating.
spots, you are doing wrong...stop the twigs and start sending CAC ;)xD Reading farmer_broke's post made me thinking...putting my gray matter(like mingling said) to work...take a stock account & concentrate on Barn in baha...my animal stock is painfully very very low there.

Sure am glad for all that mulch I have stocked piled. Really speeding up my trees. Use on everything that is over 12 hours. That way get at least two harvest a day.

Done - just waiting to deliver last items for harvester until I need it. Had 95% of Baha fields in trees and they really produced the branches. Main farm fields were about 50/50 trees and animals and, although they gave good drops, it wasn't as stellar as Baha. Now it's time to start pulling trees out and putting the farm back together. So glad we got the harvester functions - really makes cleanup easier.
