There is no drops in day2.
First you use 2x2 fields. Next round depends how many seeds you'll get. Usually you need bigger fields for next round too. With one field I often have couple of 2x2 fields, a lots of 1x2 fields and some 1x1, so I have event plants everywhere. After that I change all to 1x1 plots.

There's no drop to think about until Saturday, you can sow anything you want.

We'll get 10 seeds, sow that into 10 (2x2) with water, manure, SG & SSG. They'll turn into 100 event crops (if you have no bonus going on and that you're using CAC only). If you still have the SG & SSG, you can sow that back into 4 (2x2), 90 (1x2) and 6 (1x1). After that you can switch to 1x1 and you'll have enough seeds to fill your 202 plots.

The event crop will be in use in the next 2 days but you'll have to fill both orders in their respective 24h slot. We'll be able to carry the excess event crop from the overnight harvest from Friday to Saturday's event crop quest.

Thanks, Northy. One final (I think!) question. I am not familiar with comfort fields. I think it will take 11hrs to harvest event crops with SG. I might need to use them during the day since I usually don't get on the game before 08:00 and day 3 begins at 07:00. I stop playing nlt 22:30/10:30PM tomorrow. Wonder if that will give me the needed Day 2 crops? Don't have huge stash of S/SG so will need to spread it out over the event.
Wish all of us to get lucky on the Wheel - that would help a lot :)

Comfort fields multiplies growth time by 4, so a 5h30 crop will turn into a 22h crop. Adding water (-20%) will make it 17h36 growth time. I image you have the 60% growth reduction for super grow rune in the Tree of Wisdom activated, so that would bring it down to 7h02m24s. I'm not factoring in White Innocence, Fruit Cake nor manure. Also, I don't know if you'll have active cloud rows that will boost super grow up or not. This should give you enough time to harvest and finish the first day quest or get ahead on the second day quest.

Look who messed up ... again! Got my field ready for the drops but forgot to take out the critters in Green Meadow for the crops. DOH! Plus they were long term animals so had to use some precious ( :wuerg: ) PF and they will still not be ready for the start of the event. Will only lose an hour but even so, what a Muppet! xD
Could have deleted them anyway but acted on impulse - must learn to step back and gauge the possibilities before action! :music:

This days task to me (local time) is "from 15 to tomorrow 02" do 4000++ those crops in the G-Meadow and then something else.

First about 2000 MUST be ready on saturday afternoon
, remember that, all people, even if goal is to do 4000 overall...

EDIT: I get a VERY good start to day 2
----> Party Spins (about 20) gives me THREE times Crops +1 for 6 hours :)

Nice, first round gives 160 crops, ---> straight to small plots and 2nd round 160x 10 gives 1440++ (with CAC and SSG and those 3 bonuses!)

And those 4000 (above mentioned) plants are ready before midnight local time!

Edit: I now have finished Quest #2 but I am continuing to grow the Morning Glory

Maybe you won't feel so bad after you hear how I messed up big time (because I am so bad with numbers). I followed Northy's suggestion with initial set-up and put water, manure, S/SG on the 2x2 and a few 1x2. After my second harvest, replaced one of the 2x2 with a comfort field to check yield and time to harvest. Wow, one CF produced 23 plants in 4H46M. I was so excited with that, and put down more CF, as I harvested the remaining plots. Only now realize that a field of 201 1x1 plots will give more with water and manure. Oh, well, another lesson learned!

Curiosity got the best of you! The Comfort fields + SG is a winning tactic only if you place down the 44 (2x2) comfort field and the 26 (1x1).

I think I've lost this one. I put down some SGlast night, and then I went and did something else, and then to bed. Not the best of days, so my next harvest will be done after the next one is popping up. Sad, but that's where I am. On the bright side, the world isn't ending today, there will be a new day tomorrow :D

Oh yay! I woke up to a bright sunny day and my husband getting out the lawn mower...so indeed another day has dawned. And my first cuppa coffee is almost gone...BRB...

Guess who forgot to harvest her event crops yesterday evening until it was 11 p.m. and I was off to bed? So I'm at least one harvest behind, maybe two. Phooey. Off to see if I can salvage today's quest.

Don't forget to prepare your main farm for the last drop tomorrow (gardening gloves)! The Companula flowers are so lovely! Keep growing them overnight for tomorrow's quest! :D

Thanks for all the tips and reminds, Northy - you have really helped me stay on track! My Main farm with hydrangeas yielded the needed number of gloves this morning! I do love the Campanula flowers - they are indeed a delight!

New question: For day 6, could someone please let me know the approximate grow time for the blue star petunias (6hr crop) if we use fruitcake and white innocence along with water/manure/S/SG. Thanks!

That would be 1h04m48s. It could be less if you have cloud rows that boost SG effect. Just plane water, manure, super grow bring it to 1h44m.

Last stretch everyone! Just a few more hours and this event will be done! Don'T forget to check your Smith & Son (+) giver from the previous event, they need to be taken off and replace in a field to be used for the other goodies. Also, maybe it's time to retake a look at where your givers are placed, that second set of givers we're getting are up there with the best of them!

Thanks Northy and Sanddollar, I managed to complete the event with my third harvest today. Really appreciate everyone's help.
Wish everyone still working success. Thankfully, day 6 needs fewer crops!
