Spring Into Fall - Strategy

Yes, yellow leaves are going to be harder to get, me thinks. Better to gift yellow -- at least it looks that way.

 

I'm gifting red leaves first.. they will be done sooner and able to switch over to long crops for drops ASAP. Then I'll switch to gifting yellows. Just my strategy for gifting, ignore if your strategy makes more sense

 

Yup, just checked, yellow on Baha! But, here's another thing. The crop is longer growing so more drops. I just got 13 and 14 Yellow Leaves on my two fields with 2x2 plots - which I think is pretty good for an event crop.

 

did I miss the memo somewhere??? I thought we could GROW the event crops on crystal falls we just weren't going to get any drops from that field

 

Oh chit.. you're both right illy n sand, stupid color mix up on my part, sorry! (haha I'm color blind, for real)
But PS... JFYI, longer crops on baha does not always mean more drops

Okay, I'll need a camel at #20 on the Baha donation list. I can't buy one (not on my market until I open it) and I'm no where near having enough GBs to open certain animals and crops in Baha that I don't have. So unless it allows me to go to the next one (doubtful with the locks), I can't get the CR anyway.

Why make something like a camel, etc. so close to the top of requirements? Don't have sloth, etc. either. I'm guessing I won't be able to purchase fruit or crops I haven't opened in Baha either. So although I'm away tomorrow, even if I word hard on this, it looks like I won't be able to get to 120 for the CR.

Well, that's disappointing if I can't. People who have done this type of event before -- can you skip? Or am I missing something?

I'm level 78 on main, 97 on Baha, and I can't get the CR. Yep, way to keep players in the game...


ETA: Actually, I can't go past #3 in Baha -- no bell pepper. Crazy. They have high level Baha crops and animals at the top, with the lower levels at the bottom. Pffft.

 

I'm gifting yellow leaves first as I have less of them from harvesting. I want to mill the cornucopia in one batch so not to interrupt the mill's production of feed/PF. Just trying to get the 180 to get milling going.

Right? Wrong? Don't know, works for me. My brain is foggy and it will help me cross of an entire requirement rather than having to check, double check, triple check and still be wrong I only have 4 paws, not 10 fingers so need to keep it simple

Well, I am giving out Red leaves 1st, as you need more of those, and I am going after the
Pheasant Pen! Then I will give out yellow on the next round of gifts unless a neighbor request a certain color!

 

Once again I was too sick to get on comp yesterday so I had short time crops Def feeling like I'm behind the 8 ball already but I'll see how it goes Good luck to all!!

To me looking through all the bad around the event Im loving the chance of getting pheasant den

 

• If It's a cough julie I have it too ...it's driving me nuts ...covonia cough Linctus helps a bit

 

Looking forward to getting a pheasant roost and...finally...a crocodile pond to feed my fang brush factory! It's all the way to the end in this event, providing the drops are good. All 5 fields are full of bloomin' orchids and dahlias. Good luck everyone.
