Did you see the suggestion using Farm Coins to buy GBs from the Shop O' Ripoff (Shop O' Rama) @sglick? Maybe you can pick up a few that way... not sure if you have any tho, but recyclomat is still going on...

I think I found another solution. I edited my last repy.

 

It's too bad we players couldn't have a 'pay it forward' during an event to help out anyone needing crops locked. Even in batches of 50's or 100's. It's really hard when you have unlock in order to get the item up and running.
I agree that even having foxhead unlocked or any crop; it's not really fair to those who have to do without
Had to unlock the java tree, boy is it not cheap! I'll have to gather on 3 of them for now. The products are a concern for me; 111 sounds like I have a gigantic storehouse but it's quite the opposite...other higher priority stuff comes first. Found myself having to make carrots last night!

I think I have bad news for you ... Fox Head takes 40 GB to open. Don't feel too bad - I don't even have the chamber open yet; that's another 45 GB just for that.

My strategy at this point is simple: I'm waiting to see if they change the requirements or open the market. Otherwise, I'll just go through what I can and maybe sell a bunch of stuff.

Ah, thanks! I missed that in the original message. At least someone is going to get a lion! (I do have a little lion in real life - a pale ginger kitty who's always lyin' around - but I want a Farmerama one, too.)

I currently have 613 farm coins; I need 587 more for the bulk GB purchase. I hadn't planned on doing much with the Recyclomat - too many other quests that need things - so my fields aren't set up for the best battery drops. I'm switching things out as I harvest to get ready for tomorrow's drops, but do I want to harvest early tomorrow to get batteries and hope for enough coins to get the bulk GBs? Or will I risk not getting enough drops for the Spring Event? But if I don't get the GBs, I don't have a shot at finishing the Spring event ... but they'll probably change it on me if I do that...

 

I'm 10 GB's away from opening foxheads myself. I will get the 5 from the daily gift so I'm out to hunt up 5 more. I just went up another level on Baha so they aren't going to come from there. Must be an FSQ somewhere I can try to scoop some up. I thought at first I didn't have sugar apples but it appears I do as they are in my barn. No idea what tree that comes from.

Speaking of which can anyone tell me what tree you get sweetgum ball from?

It's the Sweet Chestnut tree, Clash, one of the newer mainland mystery trees. I think sugar apples come from Annona tree on Baha.

All in on this one, want those lion and snail pens , and I'm doomed never to get them otherwise. Haven't had clear head enough to pay close enough attention to needs (miserable cold ), but think I have access to everything needed. Rose hips out on mainland, saguaro going on Baha, keeping paws crossed for good drops. Good luck everyone, and have fun!

Spot - I hope you get over your cold soon. This looks like a no-brainer for someone with a well stocked inventory so you should have no problems.

EDIT: Is Rose Hip different than Roses? Is it one of the high level crops?

Sugar apples come from the Annona tree in Baha. It's a temple tree that has to be unlocked with GB's

Spot's hope you feel better soon. Thanks for the response but it's not the sweet chestnut as I have one of those. It is a mainland tree as I can buy the fruit but no idea of what tree produces the sweetgum ball fruit.

Edit: I've just discovered that I don't have java apples unlocked either. I am now only 1 GB away from getting the Foxhead's so maybe I can just get the needed GB's from the quest to unlock Java apples.
