Longest growing crop you have... drops are reliant on grow time.

Thanks Illy for starting this thread and for the numbers, which are 100% accurate! *hug*

I don't have any problem with the items requested. All my efforts are towards gathering the event crops and event drops asap.
My most important strategy move for this event is to stick a yellow paper on my keyboard. It says "Do Farmwheel Bonus Hunt and buffs PRIOR to harvest!!!"

Usual preparation, long(est) timed crop on as many 1x1 as possible, ready at start.
At the start, nuke (SG, SSG, water, manure, buffs -white innocence and fruit cake- ) starter seeds twice on 4x4 or Comfort Field (depends on RL commitments). Once done, event crops on 1x1's, most likely 3 harvests a day, long timed crops overnight.

Crystal Falls might become a good place for parrot poo.

    Good luck everyone!

Marly if you look in the market you will see there are two different fruit types one is the Rolliana sugar apple and one is just sugar apple and it comes from the Annona tree. :)

I was just thinking the same thing about the papyri.

I'm still 36 GB's away from opening the Foxhead statue I guess I need to see if I can find some laying about.

I am glad others are uncertain about these trees as I am. HaHaHa - Not laughing at anyone - except BP for being so ridiculous with these trees.

All I know is that I have paid a small fortune for them since my FOCD has to do with completing all the quests (that will never happen - either. I can't bear to part with my Pink animals and above.)

    Thanks for the reminders. :)

The Rolliana is the rolliana sugar-apple whereas the Annona is just the sugar-apple.

Papyri shows up using Google translate for Papyrus :)

While at it, slightly off topic I admit, someone native EN/US able to explain why Goose becomes Geese and not Gooses? Always intrigues me. No need to answer here, just drop me an IGM. :)

    This is the official reason:
The word "goose" comes into English from an ancient Germanic language that had something called strong declension. ... So that's why the plural of "goose" is "geese." Similar rules come into play for the words "louse" and "mouse."

When I asked this same question when I was a child I was simply told "because it is". xD

Yes, Peeps - papyri is the plural of papyrus

Thanks LDC! I'm glad to know it isn't something linguistic or grammatical I should've learned way back in school. PHEW!

I think I have everything I need to do this event. Except... maybe... time.
Thanks again to the number crunchers. I saw a list for the Tropical side but not one for the Main side. I'm not sure I have all the products and animals since I don't usually bother with those anymore. ( I woke up with a caffeine withdrawal headache this morning, 1+1=1... )

I have foxtail millet on my main farm, rose hips on the other two farms since those are my longest crops, currently.
Tropics are chaos since I've been working on timed quests. Not going to worry about it. Yet...

    Rose hips are 100+, L101?

    For drops:
Longest crops before event starts, use comfort fields if you want a boost and have resources to reduce time. IF trees are longer than longest crop then use 20h trees. Whatever you plant it needs to be ready shortly after event starts or whenever you're going to login after event starts. I usually miss a couple of start hours because of time zone or lack of interest.
After event starts... use whatever fits your schedule. Take advantage of refinements, CRs, alchemy, and all other buffs available to you to speed things up.

Does that explain why the plural of "fish" is "fish" or "moose" is "moose"?

:DThanks Marly, that's very helpful, especially how you've broken it all down into categories. Very easy to run thru our barn inventory and make sure we have everything we need.

Sort of. Moose comes into the English language from the Algonquin (Native American) language. So the Old English rules were not applied to it. There is a much longer and more confusing explanation in the Oxford Dictionary but this is what it boils down to.

As for fish well that is almost to hard to explain. Basically has to do with "fishes" being used to infer species rather than multiple fish.

Classic examples of just exactly why English is the one of the hardest languages to learn.

Thanks Marly for the big breakdown!

Thanks for all the typing Marlymar!
I only have 3 ladders and 3 fans. Not much more cheese. I may have to do something about that... lol

LCD, it's also an example of how Yankee English is a melting pot. I have a friend that is fluent in Lakota Sioux. Now I have to ask her about moose in her language...
