Hmmm...I'm thinkin' (always dangerous :p )... I just harvested 3 mainland fields of giant crocus, got 11, 12, and 10 snowflakes respectively, so averaged 11 per field. One round of carnations with only water and reduced time refinements would take roughly 12-ish hours. In 12 hours I can harvest crocus 3 times. If I get the same or close drop average each time, that would give me 33 snowflakes, vs. 20-25 with carnations. Because of cold I'm only sleeping a few hours at a time before I wake up again, so I should be able to harvest reasonably regularly. Using this strategy, I can grow needed event crops almost continually and thereby knock out crop requirements quickly, and get as many or more drops than by using carnations. This sounds reasonable to me, but then again, crawling back into bed right about now sounds real reasonable too. xD *sneaks off to nappy land*

Marly: what in the world did you have out on flwrs farm that gave you such awesome Baha drops?! o_O Way to go! :D

Up to step 25 on right side, 7 on left. Want the lion most, so working that side first.

Initial drops: 66 dewdrops from honeydew on the 3 fields in baha & 3 snowflakes from ... carrots, yes, carrots. I fell asleep early due to recovery from illness and left carrots growing overnight that I had planted for something else. :p
Well I had a good laugh about that this morn. Lowest drops I ever received, lol. I'm taking this one easy. I don't have enough GBs to open all that is needed for the baha side. I do have everything, or can grow, produce, etc., what's needed for the mainland side. So I'll complete the main side then worry about what I can get done on the baha side after that.
    :)
    Good luck, everyone!

Brooke - I too hope you have pain free nights & days. 100% of what? LOL ;) I am thinking it is 100% harvesting. :DYou are starting to write like me - Miss Pain Pallett. :inlove:

Ok - This morning, I was kind of annoyed with everyone's obsession with drops. I know they can be slow, but after we reach a certain level. We always get enough drops eventually.

As the day went on and it became harder and harder to make that perfume - whatever the are calling it - in the mill. It all came back to me like a bad dream that I keep reliving. It is the IMPATIENCE. I want it ALL now that is so annoying and why everyone including me is obsessed about drops.

May the drops be with you!

Good luck in reaching your goals and developing you patience.

I have 132 snowflakes and 121 dewdrops after 1st day. On baha had one field of Saquaro and one field of carnations on mainland. I can't remember what else I had on baha. I harvested via puffin at lunch - so my eyes couldn't see what I had planted. I have some stables and trees in the mainland. Won't rip them out until I get my event crops built up.

I took a peak at the event and you can use those precious BB's to buy a step instead of donating.

In case you didn't see my other post - I finally got SG Love for Carnations! :p Sadly - I am low on SG :sleepy:

Brookeham - Congrats on your lucky spin.

It's strange but my level of drops appears to have come into line with requirements: After my overnight crop (longest possible) on both fields, Glade of animals, workshops and trees plus first harvest of event crops (nothing else as,without harvester I didn't want to plant and harvest too much manually), my drops were at 117/57 respectively.:(

Just one more harvest of event crops in 2x2s and overnight crops of Gentiana and Bonnet Cactus (no time for Saguaro) plus a partial harvest on the Glade (some things like trees not ready yet), my totals are: 273/160. More than doubled since yesterday. Has the drop rate been jiggled or are we getting more drops from shorter growing crops than before?

For me, this is more like it! And we are not yet at the 24 hour position! Fingers crossed everybody! :music:

This morning (less than 24 hours into the event) I am on 25/75 on both sides and will convert at next harvest 1 field to longer crops for the snowflakes. On BillyWhiskers, I am on 19/75 on both sides and also stuck at snowflakes.

I was going to wait and do it all in one go - but I couldn't wait. I am concentrating on the Baha side (I really want a Lion!) and am 34/75 there and 10/75 on the other side - just lagging behind you a bit Pups. :music:

I think, with luck and a fair wind, I should be finished with the crops by Sunday - maybe the drops too but that's not something I can calculate accurately! :p

I have changed my mind about this event and, apart from it being unobtainable to those who haven't got all the required statues opened on Baha (though I think BBs might work o_O), it might actually be a Medium difficulty. We shall see ... :inlove:

I am also at 25 on both sides. It's the snowflakes that are holding me up (as I look out at the snow on the groundxDxD) I haven't really found a pattern for drops on my farm. The numbers are all over so I'm going with the "Hit and miss" theory:p I see one of the new animals needs fennel and celery for feed. Funny thing is I have been trying to get those built up to 15,000-20,000 and I am having a hard time for some reasono_O (events maybe?) I know another animal takes quite a few of those. Hay is another one. If any of my neighbors read this post, please IGM me if you want a particular drop. :) Good luck to all and don't forget to post in the SOS thread if you need it!!:D Brooke, that wheel loves you:inlove::inlove: My wheel just teases and laughs at me when I spin for thosexD

Overnight long crops on both regular and baha lands are yielding fairly good drop rates. At first I figured it was going to be dewdrops we'd all be short on as only the two baha lands were giving those. But, it turns out it's snowflakes because the milled item takes 75 of them! So from this point forward, I'm gifting snowflakes.

I need more snowflakes :( can anyone give me some suggestions has to how to increase my drop rate? I have all of my field upgrades linked with the rune but I'm only at 21% increase on all my fields. What is the best thing to do to increase my drop rate? Thanks so much for any help you can give :)
