I would have like to say something positive about this event but unfortunately, I can't. I can not understand why Tortoise Habitat V Neon and Lynx Stall V Neon are something to look for or to have, they have already been "the highlights" of other events. Surely you could have found some other other animal stall/pen/habitat that has not feathered as V Neon. No hard feelings, guys.

Didn't do this one as I have too little Power feed. Rewards were not worth trying to find more in quests.

 

I disagree with the above - there were loads of prizes in here, and while some people might already have one of the pens offered, other people enjoy having many of them. Every event should offer something different, and people can choose which ones they want to do. There were a lot of requirements for this, but I, for one, only had to breed to create the donations three or four times, as I had all the rest on hand, and so I was able to breed what I wanted to get my blossoms, keep the results, and make a great deal of progress on personal goals. In the old days, when there were only one or two events all month, each event really needed to be geared toward all players, but now, with a new event every week and often, two or three, it is okay if some events are not what all players want to tackle. I for one, enjoyed this a lot. The Cloud Row is quite good, and the large amount of PF as prizes, combined with the 1PF breeding (which also used to not be a thing) made this quite painless! More like this, please!

 

This event was made all good with the high amount of prizes, PF given back and to be able to get 3 crates of breeding/coloured animals was worth the effort. Even with 500 PF required, with the Discount day breeding at 1 PF and the Cherry Blossom being giftable to neighbours as a daily gift, meant a totally good event to play. This is the first time I see 1 breeding event giving back 9 Neon stables in one go! I understand that not everyone had the needed inventory to do this, but prices for breeding animals were quite decent in my market (the wonder animals like skunks and walruses were the indecent one...). Plus, any breeding was possible to get the drop, we weren't limited to 2 or 3 specific cathegory. Just pure fun!

 

With only 186 PF even now, I didn't have enough to start this event. Sorry. RL just won't let me do it.

 

A real monster of an event. I enjoyed that, but don't make them all like that.

 

The tortoise stalls take such a long time that the upgrades were quite welcome to me. I even put them out in the glade

 

The requirements for this event were eye-watering high and maybe I would have had second thoughts if I had taken a bit more note of just how many breeding animals were needed but once I started, I was all in - I hate not completing events.

I liked that the Cherry Blossoms came from all breeding and that there were all the associated events - in particular the Happy Discount weekend - so it gave me a chance breed what I like and get a little closer to finishing some breeding FSQs.
No great skips this time round so no breeding FSQs actually finished despite using up every bit of my PF!

Prizes were good though, as said above, not sure they were worth the goods required - but all Neon pens are welcome in my barn!


Edit: I just opened all the main farm Wonder Stables and Trees - nothing of any note, the best of the bunch was a Wild Privet (already had four!). This is why I skip events that give Wonder items, it's a lottery I usually lose!
