Thanks MARLY and sanddollar for helping my damaged ego. LOL
Boy....that's a lot of reg. crops for this event. I need to go and re-read the FAQ. What I need to do is add the event crops for each pet-animal section. I'm having an out-patient surgery(no big deal) tomorrow at 5:00am .....so tomorrow might be a bust for me as well. At least I don't have to worry about drops.

edit: ps didn't see page 2 until posted. Thanks Suzee for re-posting the #'s. I guess I'm going to go with the longer crop for a couple of days.

 

Have I totally missed something? Cloud row all four animals have to be level 9. I see number thru level 6???? Sorry forgot the other levels are regular crops. LOL

 

Don't forget to buy 300 of any you are short of at the Store each day!

 

I'm just sticking to the listed requirements as they are because I've already worked out totals needed for all crops from that and I can't be bothered to rework it if I only use certain crops multiple times . I checked that I had all normal crop requirements in the barn so I can just concentrate on the event crops and hopefully be done with plenty of time left . Being able to use 5 fields should make this pretty easy for me so hopefully a stress free event .

 

Be careful which list you choose to follow though. So far in this thread only SarahB, SuzeeRabbit and zerodegrees have listed correct requirements. The other numbers presented will only get you part of the way for each level.

I can recommend zerodegrees post as the most complete overview. Just note that you only need one of the event crops and one of the regular crops for each animal. So to complete all the chicken levels you choose either 5400 daisy or 6120 rose or 7200 pansy. And you choose either 14400 hops or 5400 crop circle or 15600 sorghum.

SuzeeRabbits posts compares total growing time for the different options. For the chicken it doesn't make much difference which event crop you choose. But for the other animals rainbow tulips are the best option if you can harvest on time. If you know you can't or don't want to, then just go with one of the longer crops. Whichever suits your schedule best is fine.

I hope that clears up some of the confusion. The rest should become clearer as one starts to donate. It would be a pity however if someone grew all the crops and found they don't have enough at the end. So if you are unsure if you have the numbers right, list them here (how many of each event crop you plan to grow) and what your goal is (cloudrow, complete event or something else) and I can check if it adds up.

Added a note about this to my post. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I hope you are aware that sticking to the listed requirements as is will only help you advance 7 steps, leaving you 5 steps short on each level.

Take the chicken, for example.
You need 12 steps to complete one level.
The listed requirements for level 1 are 150 rainbow daisies, 170 rainbow roses, and 300 rainbow pansies.
150 rainbow daisies will help you advance 2 steps.
170 rainbow roses will help you advance 2 steps.
300 rainbow pansies (favorite crop) will help you advance 3 steps.
2 + 2 + 3 = 7 out of 12 steps complete.

 

Don't know how I missed that we can also use the 2 main fields in Baha as well. Just now planted rainbow daisies there too. Thankfully I got an early start yesterday so I'm sure I'll finish but wished I'd seen that earlier about using Baha fields.

I can't repeat what I said when I read your posts and realised that my workings out and growing from today might have now been in vain .

I can't necessarily harvest on time as I will be working every day til the event end. So far I have grown 2245 daisy, 2073 rose, 1253 pansy and 4968 tulip...I now don't know if this is a good start or been a waste of time?!

I just read the FAQ again. The way it reads to me is that we can use either multiples of the same crop or of mixed crops. So, if we wanted to use a mixture of the crops but some go 2 steps and some go 3, wouldn't it just take some more crops to reach level 12......or am I just not getting it?

My goal would be to get the CR and givers.

Further edit- After further examination of the FAQ I have decided I am totally befuddled by the whole thing!

For me, the way the requirements have been written out in the FAQ has not been clear at all .

I'm not getting the 2 or 3 step thing though. If I choose some of the crops that only move me 2 steps, does that mean I can't continue to donate more crops to reach level 12 on that particular animal?

Can the 12 steps only be reached by using the 3 step crops? I feel very confused now .

Using a variety of the crops suits my timetable better due to work. As long as I can achieve the 12 steps in each level by keeping on donating whichever crop I have (regardless of if it's a 2 step or 3), then that's fine . Do let me know if this is the case.

 

You can complete everything no matter what you choose to donate, so don't worry. Do you remember the flying events? We had different fuel, some fuels would advance you 1 step, with a better fuel you would advance two or three steps at a time. The different crops are like different fuels, some advance you two steps and some three. To get to the next level you have to advance (at least) twelve steps. Easiest way to do this is to either go 6 times two steps, or 4 times three steps. But you can also mix. It is easier than it sounds, so you should just try it. If you don't want to donate any event crops yet, you can try feeding the dog or pig with regular crops and you'll see how it works

Moving along nicely, with three animals at level 5. I'm doing mostly longer crops, but growing some of all to round out my time.

For any newbies out there, remember to buy seeds in the shop daily to help meet the regular crops donations.

 

The Farmerama Actual Quackery (FAQ) published the day before the event begins is the option to get ready in theory.

My aim is now to explore events without the Farmerama Bigpoint forum complementary information.
This makes me consider the « Stable Stories » first level to figure out following « elRe1 » strategy.

This farm is struggling a bit, but I'll make it. Tomorrow being my day where I am unable to farm due to RL farmer's market makes it a bit harder. The other farm got a 100% wheel bonus yesterday and has the cloud row up and running - just doing a few last crops to reap a few of those last rewards.
