EDIT: Although I was sure this was an "all inclusive" feedback for the series of events, either it changed or I goofed. I am keeping my comments below, but adding one specific to the mystery pen event.

Its nice to see older pens offered again, even in random fashion. I still think the packs are a bit much. At 650 BB, it means paying over $20 in real money to be sure of getting one of the new turtle pens. I would much rather see an offering of one gauranteed pen, but with a limit of one (similar to how cloud rows are offered). This would be in addition to the random wonder pen offerings.
EDIT: The following comments apply to the other aspect of this current event series... the Farm Express

EDIT: This Gifantic express event asks for a lot more than other events. I strongly urge any new players thinking of participating to FIRST read through the strategy thread on the event https://board-en.farmerama.com/index.php?threads/strategy-farm-express.17278/page-4#post-86030

I do wish the risks of trading pens in were made clearer in the FAQs, because newer people just don't know enough of the game to understand that this event is likely not a good one for them. Sure, you do spell out that donations are required and the possible results, but unless you have been in the game a while, you don't understand the relative values of the rare pens listed versus the rare and upgraded pens they have.

When new, having a pen that gives one extra animal might not seem that big a deal, but of course it is! Allowing us to donate the yellow and orange workshops is a BIG plus. I mean, most of us don't use our regular egg and cow milk pens anyway once we finish the timed events, so having a chance to get rid of the workshops that just offer a slight decrease in time and a few extra EP is great. Having a high donation rate for the yellow bat roosts (one of the few upgrades worth trading) is a nice added touch. With all the red (and of course orange) pens, the yellow pens are just taking up space. For those fortunate enough to have a lot of extra wonder pens, this can be a chance to get rid of them also, but only for older players who truly understand what they are giving up (and even so, I strongly urge caution on that! Those pens might well be more valuable than we think with the new quests coming up!).

Overall summary: A very nice event for older players, but it really needs more cautionary warnings for new players.

The "perfume" mentioned in the butterfly factory -- I assume it is not pheromones? Since that term is still used in a few places (or has been very recently -- still used for perfume trees), it might be worth clarifying that.

Shimmery powder already a product category in the market. Not that there are any for sale! :p

It would also be good to clarify if the Tour de Farm I and Tour de Farm II are permanent quests or not. Of course it could be my fuzzy thinking not understanding :p

You must complete Tour I to unlock Tour II so I'm going out on a limb to say, permanent.

After reading (and hopefully understanding) the FAQ for the Farm Express/San Gigantica I must say I'm more than disappointed....it looks as if we are expected to get rid off high value stables (to achieve the 1250 Exchange Value) and in return get only the slim chance of receiving the new workshop. This is only worth participating if the odds for winning the Perfumery are like 50/50. Even the opportunity to exchange regular workshops doesn't help because the exchange values are wisely chosen well below the necessary 210 average per slot......

On the positive side.....it's a good idea of offering the Wonder Stables of days past, this way people that didn't have a chance to complete their stable collection yet can dig in as much as they like.....

After the first day into the event the verdict is in:
San Gigantica - Pricy, but great (3 Perfumery are mine)
Draco Wonder Stable - Boooooooo, it looks almost as if BP found a way that the new stable is really only available for Farmers who buy the Package....After receiving roughly 15 Classic Beaver Dam II and about the same number of Mole Stalls.....I call it quits, thank you so much BP.

    Farm Express
San Gigantica Express returns in May 2015 with a brand new special cargo - during this edition, the common old stables are not available. The only cargo available for ordering is the Luxury Cargo, which needs 1250 trade value to be ordered, or 50 BBs.

    Sounds absolutely wonderful - my two luxury cargos;
    1. Yellow turkey
    2. Yellow egg farm
    Another BP con and rip-off>:(

Draco stables weren't much better - 20 stables, only vaguely good result was a rooster. I was hoping for the tortoise or at least a kiwi-.-

Im sorry but I'm dissapointed in this Event...I don't understand BP...we complain that we don't have enough space, but yet BP keeps on introducing new Items to the Game...Why can't BP just ONCE have a "Special Edition" Event where we load YELLOW Stables and in return get an ORANGE Stable...? That way AT LEAST we can feel that BP is listerning to us...( it will at least feel like we were given more Land as we will have more Orange Stables on our Farm..This Game is growing by the day, so should the Farmers...Yellow is no longer appropriate for our Farms...if you are worried about the Sales of Orange, then introduce the Sale of Reds... either way...where am I suppose to go with the new Items...? I already don't have space as all I have is Yellow and Basic...Orange would have soothed my Frustration at the Introduction of yet another new Item and still no extra Land...

I could still live with my "constipated Inventory" of Yellow Stables if I could have gotten rid of them, but I can't even do that...they are worthless for the Express and to pricey to send on G&T...( currency of 12:1) makes it impossible to participate..please consider more/free tickets for gifting at B&T or offer them on the Wheel..( I know this last sentence is not for this Thread, but it explains my frustration with a constipated Yellow Inventory)

    EDIT: Update
So far between my 2 Farms I've received Beaver II's..YELLOW Bat Guano...Orange Cow...really...? For a value of 1250..? It feels like such a slap in the face...I have better results with the normal Gigantica Express...I'm left with the impression that if you buy with BB's, you'll end up with better odds...either way...wish BP would have run both at the same time and I could choose which one to do...at the moment it's pointless putting in the odd rare stable, just to get a YELLOW something..!!!...Really..I can buy that with CC's...shocking...I could handle the Yellow with the normal Gigantica, but definately NOT when having to dish out 1250 value...

I looked over the offerings for the quest and stables but I decided to look here first..good thing.
In Response to Jools: Wow! I was looking through my inventory to see if I had enough to part with. when I read what you got in return..I feel so bad for you, honestly where's the scriptwriter who set the perimeters for odds? find him!
I won't be giving up a red fox stall for nuthin and right now I'm scared out of my wits to buy a stable!!!!
If I got a yellow egg farm I think I would be sick :wuerg:. I have 13 egg trees, even someone in the 20's can get a yellow egg farm. I had two way back then.
I wonder what 'Up to your level' really means. If you're in the 80's, a proper Red or Pink of something would suffice. I'm scared...veerry scared now.
Burnt Offerings: If this keeps up they'll have call it ZOO and you get to be an exhibit manager/veterinarian/trainer. Turtles are cute, they poop and meander around...lay eggs.. but when the entire taxa has been done we'll have to start on extinct species. I mean this in a funny way, but adding more animals is not keeping it interesting, it's putting more pressure to produce at the expense of leisurely fun. Another animal to hunt down is getting tiring. I wish they would see that.

I see yellow stables are now back in the wonder stables results -.- That just made it very easy to stop buying after the first four I bought.

I liked that we could try for some older pens that were not around when newer players joined but the high rate of yellow pens and workshops is a hefty price for BB. I did buy a variety from the different types of stable packages but found that the newer pens were exceptionally rare (kiwi, platypus, turtle) and the Classic II beavers are still preparing for a flood. I thought their rate of occurrence was readjusted since we had one Secret stable event that provided the beavers as a result but I got more of them than anything else. Please remove all yellow stables as they can be purchased with CC and all the yellows I received were low end animals (chicken, rabbit, goat, duck) making them affordable by even newbies.

I have done well from the Draco Wonder Stables and the train. 4 Tortoise 2 Platypus 2 Pink Stables 8 Red Stables Orange stables Frogs, Dogs and let's not forget the Classic Beaver 2 Stalls. (I got so many of these, I'm wondering if they are getting us ready for Beaver Breeding).
Thumbs up! from me. :) I didn't get the Butterfly Workshop. Yet!.:)

My sister just got a Perfumery, I am so jealous.

The results I have gotten are really awful, both from the train and from the Draco wonder stables. Lots of yellow stables and workshops and five beaver II stables. Not worth it at all. I feel ripped off.

Bought 3 each Draco, Ursa, and Lynx stables. Received lots of classic beaver II, a yellow goat pen, and some orange donkey stalls. Putting them all on the train, and not gambling with any more stables. I've had a lot better luck with the train.

I have had days like that myself so I know how you feel. You would have had a lot better chance of getting something worthwhile if they'd got rid of the yellow stables and what's with all those beavers? I hope you have better luck next time. :)

Draco results were alright - If i remember rightly I spent 650 BB, so I expected decent results

The train results have been truly dreadful

I utterly hate spending BBs for yellow stables, so I won't anymore. The train is a risk but for 1250 points we should not be getting yellow anything.
