For many of us we have tree and animal building upgrades and it is cumbersome at best to replant fields after an event.

It is especially cumbersome with trees. We need to first select the base tree, then see if we have either an XXL or XL tree, then add the upgrade just to accomplish replanting a tree after clearing a field for an event. As it is now there is no way to get all the same trees together in the sorting process and you need to spend time determining what you have in inventory up to 3 times for each tree type.

What I am suggesting is when we plant trees, or animal buildings for that matter, we plant the base plant it lets you know you have for example 25 apples, 6 XL apples and 4 XXL apples. Then it would as how many do you want to plant and do you want to use upgrades yes or no. If you said yes it would first use all your XXL upgrades and then use XL upgrades, and finally take from the base tree. So if you planted 7 trees you would get 4 XXL and 3 XL trees. I have suggested leaving in the option of planting only base trees or no using XXL trees for anyone that might prefer not to use an XXL tree.

This would eliminate a ton of clicking and speed up the process of replanting trees and animal buildings.

Yes, placing the base first then the upgrade is very annoying :sleepy: Another way to get around could be to allow us to skip the first step. Placing an upgrade directly on an empty plot would place both a base and the upgrade with one click. If you don't have a base in your inventory you wouldn't be able to place the upgrade on an empty plot. (But if you have a base in your field you should still be able to place the upgrade there.)

PS. tpabird, if you search for the tree/stall in your inventory you'll get the base and all the upgrades, so you can see how many you have of each at a glance.

I would like to be able to stack trees/pens also. I like the idea of being able to place the upgrade directly to the field without a base.
My suggestion was that you could place 10 per space of identical trees as 10-10-10 = (10 apples) or (10 xl apples ) or 10 xxl apples). If you don't have 10 of the same item you can still plant it 10-3-5 or whatever you have but you couldn't plant base trees with xl or xxl or xl with xxl to take up only 2 spaces. The same would be true for animal pens/workshops where you would place regular, yellow, orange, red, pink or neon on a spot but couldn't place a yellow with an orange.

This would cut down on there quests for more land because we don't have room. Might still have some requests for land because players want variety but it would be for the one not both mainland and islands.
