olofkalle, I also find it difficult to see the difference between which squares I've completed v not. The difference between green and blue is subtle for me. I have taken to "mouse over" each square and examining the panel on the right where we click the button to donate for the green check mark.

Anyone that thinks it going to be iffy for them to finish... consider going for the CR, Deck 1 far right treasure chest, square 12 as seen in the FAQ. Maybe you can get the givers from a Gift & Trade. Or you can get the givers for your parks or Gift & Trade.

Someone already reported getting on average 50 speakers from a field of trees. That was my experience too, when I bothered to look. That's ~1:4 ratio from mostly 20h trees. So if you need 100 speakers plan on harvesting at least 400 trees before the end of the event. Feel free to use some tree mulch if you've been hoarding it like I have.

We still have majority of two days left.

Don't forget to use your buffs.

I'm still waiting for some speakers on my main farm, about 12 more hours. Farm 2 need 8 chips. Farm 3 need 3 chips and 32 elephants. Then I can relax... I thought I was playing the game to relax...

The thing about harvesting on time...
If you grow a 10 min crop in 24h you get drops based on 10m. If you grow a 24h crop in 24h you get drops based on 24h. If you grow a 24h crop in a little more than 17h w/ water & manure you get drops based on 24h, plus time to grow more crops and get more drops in the 24h period. Planning and time management. Likewise with pens and trees... the more reduction of time you can manage the sooner you get drops and the more drops you get. This is why knowing and using the buffs is important, Greenhouse refinements, water, manure, craft products... Plus trophy management or LL rune.

Anyone else think the communicator looks a little retro aka flip phone? LOL!

Do not activate the CR as I will wait for today Baha fern event start.
Now, clear all those extra trees in main farms... for those not yet mature,
Will wait for the Carnival Event FAQ to see if I could still keep them.

Edit: Just see the carnival queen FAQ, OK, some of my tree can be keep
as it also get drops.

 

This was the best event my farms ever skipped.

 

Lol. It was one of the few events I've done over the past year - BUT only because I was home sick. No way I would have bothered if I'd been doing normal work schedule.

 

Loud Speaker drops are way too low. 2nd day that all of my fields are full of trees and I still don't have enough. Was previously only using outer rim of each field and was able to get all but CR -- figured once I put out all of the trees it would be finished with the first harvest but it didn't even come close.

Still working on it.

Drops improved a lot on last harvest. 2nd farm finished with 45 minutes remaining. I would rather the drops stayed constant throughout the game.
