Sticker series question

i'm a bit confused by the sticker series. I was able to finish it a couple of times and I thought that I knew how it works. But is it different this time?
My main confusion is that once you craft the stickers into orange or red ones, I thought they stay orange or red for the next time around?
But i've got plenty of orange stickers in the craft stickers window, yet when I attempted to place them on the orange field the window shows none, and asks me to craft more orange stickers.
Out of orange stickers. What am I missing?

Yes, stickers keep their coloured upgrades between Sticker Series. Each Season requires more coloured upgrades than the season before, so you will need to upgrade more yellow stickers to orange. You will also need Sticker Glue for each sticker you want to paste, these are not returned to inventory between seasons.

It is possible that you have used your orange stickers to upgrade to red ones.

To me it looks like I have 156 orange stickers. For instance, Wild about animals XIV-3: Orange. Eerie Step in Time Sticker II: Orange. Festive prepping sticker: Orange.

and 75 red stickers.

So very confused.

 

If you go to your orange album, you will need to craft the stickers and apply the orange upgrade tokens to them. You will then be able to paste them into the orange album when you have enough sticker glue. You will also be able to paste your red stickers once you have enough glue.

I don't understand why I need to craft orange stickers again to make them orange.

there seems to be no option of upgrading yellow stickers into orange ones because all the stickers that are available in the crafting window are already orange.

the same with the red stickers, everything I see there is already red.

so do the already orange stickers need to be made orange over and over and over again, for every new season?

 

Do you have empty space on that page you are using? You can clue only 30 stickers on one page. Then there is only option to craft stickers. Or do you have clue?

 

Yes, I've got both space and glue but the place stickers window does not find my orange stickers, it shows up as empty.

Your left over orange and red stickers are saved and will be there to place at the next serie.

However, with the start of each serie, we must re-open Orange and Red albums by placing enough yellow in yellow album to open Orange album, then enough orange stickers to open red. So if you don't have enough yellow/orange stickers to open orange and red albums, you will need to craft more until you have placed enough to open the next album. If I'm not mistaken, each serie has needed more stickers to open albums (and maybe also to reach the higher % bonus levels.

This serie, I only placed enough yellow to open orange, then enough orange to open red. Then I placed enough red to get 100% for giver bonus. Once I reached the 100% for giver bonus, I stopped placing any stickers to save glue for the next serie.

 

This time around you have to paste 60 yellow stickers (2 full pages) to reach the 20% meter that unlocks the orange album. Once that is done, you can paste your orange stickers. It will take 30 orange stickers (1 full page) to reach the 15% marker to unlock the red album.
