Stickers gone

It's nothing major, but all of my stickers are gone. I don't pay much attention to them, but a
few days ago when I was checking refinement results, I had some time so I started clicking
through the options, Chickadee roost, farm orders, etc.

When I got to the Sticker album it was totally blank. I went through all the organizational options, refreshed the game, and tried everything I know of, but the album is still empty.

I have no idea when all the stickers disappeared since I rarely look at them. I haven't done anything that might have erased them since I haven't even looked in the album in months.

It's not a great loss if they can not be recovered, but it is nice to be able to see what I have accomplished through them.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you remember arranging your stickers in the new sticker album, after it was redesigned? It looks like you have not done so, so perhaps the last time you have checked it was before the rework of this feature?

Your stickers are all safe and sound, but you need to arrange them on the album sheets. To do so, look in the left side - the fully coloured and ticked with a check mark stickers are the ones you have - if you click on them and drag them to the album pages, you will see them in a bigger size and be able to arrange them to your liking . From the top right corner Search feature you can look for specific stickers, or you can click on the green arrows before the search field to choose a different sorting criteria.

I am truly sorry for taking up your precious time teddy.bear, but I don't see any stickers anywhere. No, I have not done any organizing of them.

I have tried using the search criteria in the upper right corner, " Alphabetically, By newest quest, etc.", and I still don't see anything. All I have are two blank pages with a little green bookmark in the middle.

I must be totally brain-dead to not be able to figure this out. They used to be there, but I had not organized them since the rework and I am still totally at a loss as to how I could have messed this up so bad.

By, "Clicking on them and dragging them to the album pages.", do you mean moving them from the left page to the right page? Both pages are totally blank.

I'm sorry for being so much trouble, but I am still totally at a loss to solve my problems.

 

I'm not a mod but Doc, when you open the album, do you have a tab with an arrow in the top left? If you do, click on the tab. That tab toggles from a full page view to a left side list of quests (with the stickers) and a right side album page. The first album page has a place to center one sticker in a frame. The next pages are blank and you can drag/drop stickers from the left side list onto the right side pages. I hope this helps.

 

Thank you BlackCaviar, but the only tab I have is a green one in the middle between the pages at the top of the page with an arrow pointing from right to left.

Right now I feel dumber than a wooden post.

As for the stickers that are playing hide and seek with you, let's try to clarify this first - when you open your sticker album, do you see the following window? Can you see both left side with the collections, and the right side - the actual album pages? What I can assure you is that your stickers are safe and sound, you do have quite a few available.

Thank you teddy.bear. That is the way my sticker book used to look before everything disappeared. I knew how to work with that, but now both pages are completely blank except for the 3 options, background image, snap a photo and delete everything.

I am beginning to think this is more likely a problem with my computer than a game problem, although I don't know what changed to cause everything to disappear just from a redesign.

I just tried selecting a background image, just to see if anything is working, and I am unable to get any images to appear. This leads me to believe even more that my problem is a computer problem, not a game problem.

Thank you very much for your time and patience, but I think I'm going to have to try working on my computer to get this to work.

I wish I could, but I'm using an IPAD type of computer and I'm still learning how to work everything on it. Unfortunately the computer programming courses I took in college are of no use. They were in fortran and cobalt and used punch cards. I also was quite proficient with a slide rule.

If I could show you a picture, it would look exactly like your picture except the only things visible are: The very top green tab beside Newest quests, and the three icons on the bottom right to either select a background image, take a picture of this album page, or delete everything on this page.

The rest of both pages would be blank.

As you can see, unfortunately I am from the wrong computer generation.

I think that might be the problem, since the game is not optimised for tablets and ipads. If you could check on a computer, it would be excellent - the stickers and the album should be back!

Would it be possible to try this in the near future? No rush - take your time - I just wish I could help you with this. We will leave the thread open until you manage to check out your account from a different device.

Thankfully, everything else is running properly - is this correct? Not that this helps, but since the sticker album has no advantage apart from pure entertainment / memories / achievements, it's best to sacrifice it in order to have everything else working smoothly .

I was hoping I could provoke at least a chuckle, or two for the memories of, "The good oie days.", in exchange for all your time and trouble.
Everything else, besides the operator, seems to be functioning properly, so it really is not a big deal. Have a good day and I'll let you know what the results are if I get a chance to check it on a regular computer.
