Thank you for the laid back event. I really enjoyed this one. Kudos to the graphics crew, my granddaughter loves Rudolf Reindeer!
The absolute best part of this and any event is No Milling of the event requirement!
My mill has been busy churning out food for the ever increasing number of animals. I love having lots of different kinds of animals, just don't want them to go hungry for another event. Some of these events require these animals.
So... please understand... No Milling of the event requirement! Thank you for a wonderful and very entertaining game!

I liked this event, for those of us that have all lands open, this was a nice and relaxing event. Great graphics, nothing complicated to figure out. Drop & crop demand reasonable. Good prizes, at least I liked them. Was a slight bug I think when I finished the entire event as I got the same congratulation msg 3 times. But I could live with that.

Thanks for a relaxing paced event during a busy time.
My only complaint... not being able to wrap more gifts for additional rewards.
Don't be so stingy BP, after all it IS Xmas -.-

I like this event, Lovely set paced. Thanks for Wintertime Quest helped have ahead start on Event Crops, plus Drops too. I was able to reap all the needed Ribbon Tulips within three days of this event

I did have any Issues with Drops and I prepared for this event well. I could do with more nice prizes for more event crops Just Hope i get a nice surprise this time ;)

This was a nice event, not too stressful even after missing a day. Loved the flower graphics and the prizes were OK. Looks to be the first part of a multi-part event so here's hoping for some more goodies. :inlove:

Yes to everything said above. I personally don't care for having the Crystal Falls as part of the event - while I have it fully open and I'm sure it helped with drops for the event, many people do not and that makes things a little less fair. The event requirements have been going up and up and up over the last couple years. This event was lovely in that it was quite reasonable and easily achievable for me, but in general, the events are harder to do. As mentioned, the no milling was a HUGE plus and the companion quest was a lovely extra help. I think it was nice that once the event was done, it was done - there have been several lately where we had the option to keep on going, and while the opportunity for more prizes was nice, it was also nice to just be done and go back to working on the new FSquests.

I liked the companion quest, and I was able to grow all the crops I needed. I liked the choice of prizes available so I could choose the items I wanted most. However, I can't finish the event because the drops were horrible :( I MIGHT finish 11 steps if I am spectacularly lucky, but there is no way I can finish all 12 with only 8 hours to go. The level of randomness in the drops seems unfair that you can pay close attention to your farm, constantly be growing something, including long crops (no idle time) and still be completely reliant on luck. Milling or not doesn't worry me much as I always keep 200+ of each feed on hand for when I need to mill for events.

I don't mind this event much, a few caveats. I LOVED not having to mill anything. Getting some new stables recently enabled my mill to keep churning to make food. I really disliked having Crystal Falls be a part of this event. Mostly old timers of the game and someone that spent alot of CCs could have Crystal Falls all the way open to get full enjoyment of the area. For those that have not opened it, me included. It smacks of unfairness for those that haven't opened any of it yet. Getting drops from there would have been extremely beneficial.

I have the cloud row, but I would have had it faster if not for the horrendous drop rate, till today.

When I first started this game in March 2013. I could participate in events and get fairly far along in them starting in the 30's for 40's levels. I finished my first event in my 60's. Today if you start a new farm, with the crop requirement of 20,000 or more crops and usually not all the land, like Glade and Baha, it is something not worth tackling unless it is only in small amounts like in Spring into Fall or something like that.

3 hours to go. Played all the time. 400 drops short. That's 25%. Madness.

i liked the event. the graphics were great so were the prizes and theme.the drop rate wasn't so good. i have under thirty minutes until the event is over and i have plenty of crops and i'm short 31 boxes and i completed the part of the event quest that had the boxes..i only like one present getting the cloud row, but i'm out of time:cry:. oh well maybe next time..i was a good cloud row but I've gotten all the ex givers:), which are really cute and i won some good prizes and got a tree i didn't have that i needed. and i almost finished it. i had a late start..or i would have probably beat it. but i still wish the drop rate would improve.
with that being said. i'm soooo curious about the next event.

I fell 108 boxes short of my final present.

Had I ripped up my whole farm a day earlier and begun the tedious (and costly) task of planting long term crops with supergrow on 1x1 plots, maybe I'd have stood a chance. The point is, I shouldn't have to. I had less RL commitments than others do at this time of year (I still had some, but not too many) and yet still I could not fully partake.

The harvester was a saving grace, but even then I have used up coupons, manure, supergrow, water and coins on an event where, ultimately, I got little reward (I was assuming I would be reaping the rewards of the cloud row, which would have made the expensive outset cost worthwhile). Instead I am down hundreds of thousands of coins, hundreds of supergrow/manure/water, and three harvester coupons for minor rewards. I should not have to rip up my whole farm and plant 1x1s for some party tickets, a few wonder trees and some GB. I should not have to spend any of what I had to spend for those rewards.

I am a level 90 player and this event could not be completed for me. Imagine how tough this must have been for a level 39 player who, according to the structure of this event, should have been able to partake in every level. If at level 90 I do not have the resources to finish, how on earth should a level 39 player be able to?

I understand your need to make a profit. I have even advocated for it - hard - in the past. And I get that by giving us a dismal drop rate (what's new), you can reach into our pockets and pluck our hard earned money because we need to pay with our own RL cash in order to finish the events you make it so challenging for us to finish. The drop rate is in your control. You keep it low because it suits you. And that's ok. It's been many years since this game was truly "free" as advertised. I'm well accustomed to the fact that you will do what it takes to get our money under the pretence that we can play for free. I'm ok with it - I'll never pay, and 99% of the time I'm happy to live with the fact that I won't have the in-game privileges other have.

But it's Christmas. This was a Christmas event. And I find it disgraceful that in a Christmas event, at a time that is meant for kindness and generosity, goodwill and community, you are still, ultimately, giving us the short end of the stick so you can pocket a few extra dollars. So many of your players do pay you RL money, often on a regular basis, and you reward them by asking for more? I have been here for nearly 8 years. I have come back time and time again. It is wonderful to know that you value your players so much that you would rather take their money than secure their happiness.

I'm not sure if I should participate in the next event. I love Christmas and I love the Christmas events and I look forward to them every year. I just don't know if I can trust you to make it something the players can enjoy, rather than a cash grabbing scheme.

This event was so wonderful. I loved it. Loved the crop, loved no mill time, loved the graphics. It is not the event I was disappointed by. That, with an improved drop rate, can be repeated again.

It is you, BP, that I am disappointed in. It is not the event that needs fixing here.

I liked the event, but as a working person I cannot finish events that need to be harvested multiple times a day. I could not finish this one.
Will not bother with events from next year.

I liked not having to mill anything, liked the crops, were pretty, liked the length of the crop.

I didn't like the amount of crop required, the horrendous drop rate. I got better drops from celery than I did from asparagus. o_O

I barely, and I mean barely got the cloud row. I'm a level 92 player with 28% trophies in the LL rune, no less. I am not sure the cloud row was worth it, but after investing all that time and effort not to get it seemed chary.

Since I won't be here for the next event, leaving the 22nd, coming back January 1st, I really hated having the two events tied. That said, under normal circumstances I think it's a refreshing change.

Good luck to all who do the next event!!!!

I agree 100% with squigglegiggle comments. I am at level 113.

I too play for free and it is almost impossible to complete any events. Most times now I ignore them which is a real shame.
