I am using 1x1 plots on all my fields, minus two on each field for my trophies. Also minus 12 on the main field for my 3 sail shops. Just completed the second level and have replanted sneezeworts on Baha, main and green meadow (no water), planted glitter poppies on glade with water. I'm using CAC. I now only have 599 sneezeworts (given so many have been planted) and I have 2522 glitter poppies. I have already donated 1000 sneezeworts and 2000 glitter poppies to stage 2.

Thank you so much for your calculations. I'm not sure if I have 620 1x1s. I will try your strategy though. Thank you :)

Thanks Mir. I might be ok sneezewort-wise - it's those glitter poppies I'm not sure of. And the drops. We'll see - I really want that cloud row :D

I still need 11,287 Pops and 2,443 Sneezes. Plus 125 Light Strings for Step 3. But those will come as I harvest my Sneezes in the next couple of hours. Been moving both Trophies around.

I've been blessed with two more CAC's and will get another one at the end of Step 3.

I think I'm just barely going to squeeze by this one. Lots of lessons and strategies learned!

Looks good Blaze :D We still have 85 more hours, and the hours you have calculated are without watering. So I really think you can make it :)

Squiggle, as puppie's great advice ....you have to water everything!! The 4 hr sneeze will be reduced to 3:12 hr and with the 1x1 plots and CAC you can do 4-5 harvest per day if you use a timer and don't let the crops sit there unharvested. I have only 567 1x1 plots ....my glade full of trees and pens and already have 9067 sneeze plus the donated 1000 for the the 2nd stage ....so they are done and 3942 glitter + the donated 2000. As for the glitter you can do 3 harvest/day .....that's including the planted glitter from the previous night. I think you created a big problem when you used the CF for the timed step and this is why you don't have enough crops but you still can finish!!
Next time you should prepare for an event and plant long crops for the start. This is the only way to have a good start with the drops because lately we always have big numbers of drop's request.
Good luck.....I hope you can finish??!!!!

Thank You Everyone for the great Help!!! :) Without your wise advises we would be lost and many of us never finish this event!!
I followed Mir's advice and used 1 x 8 hr and 4 x 4 hr cops plus the buffs and finished well before the 24 hr timer was up :)
    Thanks again!!!

    Carberot -

I do not like watering 1x1 plots. It is expensive and by my calculations I should still be able to finish the event without it. If not then that is too bad. I only water 1x1s in the magical glade.

I did prepare for this event and started with the glitter poppies.
Even with trophies and 1x1 plots my drops are incredibly low.

My drops have been pitiful too. -.- At this rate, I won't be able to complete the last stage, even though I'll have enough of everything else that's required.:cry:

Does anyone know if the special helper rune helps with event drops as well, or tools only? I need to find ways to increase that drop rate...

zerodegrees - I believe the helper rune should help with drop rate in general, meaning that yes, it is meant to help with event drops (are you talking about the Living Legend Rune?)
Otherwise I'm not sure about how to increase drop rate, even being gifted lights means we can only get 5-7 extra a day. I believe we were needing to get around 160 a day....I'm nowhere near.

No, not Living Legend. That one just makes it so you don't have to move the trophies from field to field every time you go to harvest your crops/animals/etc., I believe. I'm talking about the Special Helper rune (just above the Stable Master rune) which requires 40 stars to unlock.

Oh - my bad. In that case, no, that won't increase event drops. The rune specifies tools only.

Special Helper helps with Tools only.

However, if you keep out your highest EP earning trees around the edges of your 2x2 fields, it may help your drop rate. It seems to help mine.

Edit: squigglegiggl, we posted at the same time.

Okay. That's what I thought but I guess I got kind of desperate and started thinking "what if...". Silly me.:p

Thanks for the tip, BlackCaviar. I'll give that a try.

My mistake...just wanted to help because I thought you wish to finish this event !
Of course the choice is yours.

Sorry, I meant prepare for the event a night before and plant your longest crop and harvest when the event started. This way you can start with good drops. Doesn't matter you used the 8 hr glitter for the start ....event crops never gives that much as our normal crops. This is also the reason try to finish the event crops as fast as possible then switch to the best available crop according to the farm level.

No, absolutely thank you for your suggestions! I do want to finish this event but I don't want to pay thousands to do it.

You can send 5-7 gifts per day but you can receive 20 gifts per day. Watering plants means more crop harvests per day giving you faster turnover on your farm so you would have more opportunities to get more drops. Of course, whatever strategy you choose is up to you but it does help you be more efficient.

You have published a money making guide with your suggestions about water. Once you finish the event, you can put out animal pens and the sale of manure will offset any investment. You could sell something in the market whether it be crops, fruit, animals, products or artisan product. If you have no products to sell, please IGM me and I will send you something to help you reach your stated goal of acquiring the cloud row.

    Good luck to all!

Edit: I reread the thread and saw your post squiggle that you have calculated you can still finish without water and that the main problem seems to be drops.

My 2nd farm is a little behind on drops too but because I forgot to move those trophies for several hours the first day which meant I missed that very important opportunity to gather drops from a long overnight planting (I think I used onions). Should finish the last of the poppies today and will go back to normal farming and hope I can still catch up on BillyWhiskers.
