Cal, you are right. all excess stuff included mill sail will be exchange
    FAQ stated:
What will happen with the left over event goods after the event? Each Sneezewort will be exchanged for 3 EP + 2 CC after the event.
Each Glitter poppy will be exchanged for 4 EP + 4 CC after the event.
Each Light string will be exchanged for 5 EP + 5 CC after the event.
Each Plan will be exchanged for 25 EP + 12 CC after the event.
Each Mill sails will be exchanged for 25 EP + 25 CC after the event.

However, stop produce them is correct. You better used the space for plant event crop OR
make product that need for the new Farm Society permanent Quest.

I've completed step 4, whew! I can't wait to finish this so I can re-stock before the next event.

I had a long time crop at night and will have this night also. With 2 more harvest of glitter poppy, my seeds are done. Still need 270 drops.
Maybe I should switch Baha to local crops and make a half more from the GP on the mainland.

    Mooboy -

Thank you. I am aware of the consequences of using water. However, once again, I do not intend to use water. I do not want to, I have no desire to, and I will not spend my money on it. As I have said many times, according to my calculations I should at this stage be able to complete the event without water. The only issue is drops, and in my experience watering makes very little difference.

The water does not anything to the drops at all. Just with the time you save using water, you can plant other seeds, that give drops in return.
When I started playing, I didn't use water either, because of the cc's.
Every body plays in the style she/he likes. You have to be comfortable with how you play. If it starts to bother, the fun suffers.

I know from a long time you are not a total dumb funded, left behind the wheel, unsharpened knife - you are a very smart farmer!. But.. and a big but...if you think water is going to ruin you I'm afraid we have to start on stage one :sleepy:
Squiggle, I really enjoy having you back, I missed you, but please! Hugs from hatzeva

To use water or not? If your drops are fine don't worry about it...but if they aren't...
Look at it this way: If a field of 8 hr crops were to give you 13 drops (my average) wouldn't it be better to get them in 6:24 minutes. The saved time when you are done growing all of your crops can then be used to plant a much longer crop (a field of carnations gave me 43 drops). Also just selling 100 manure at the beginning of the event (at a low of 40cc each) would have pretty much covered the cost of water for the whole event.

Please, farmers, I appreciate that you want to help me. I would appreciate it more, however, if you could respect my decision to not use water.

Dienstag - I know water does not increase drop rate. I also know that it will give me more harvests in the day. What I also know, however, is that with my schedule, I would not be able to get to my harvests at the time that they would finish if I used water. I could use water, but it would be completely useless, because with my real life commitments I cannot harvest more than a few times a day.

Hatzeva - I do not think water will ruin me. However I do have a better idea of my finances than you do, and I am telling you that it is not an expense I am willing to pay. As explained, water is useless to me, as I am not around 24/7 to harvest when they are ready. My timing and my schedule is such that watered plants would sit ready for harvest for 1-1.5 hours before I could attend to them. Either I spend money on water that goes to waste, or I do not. I choose not to. I certainly know that I am in a much better position to judge my finances than you are, and for all you know, water could ruin me.

Again, I appreciate that you all want me to succeed. But I have stated time and time again that I do not intend to use water. I have given my reasons - not that I should have to. Would you please, please accept that I have made a decision. I am aware of the consequences of that decision, as I have told you already. But it is a decision I will stick by.

Touche- squiggle. I know you've always had your own way of farming, and it's refreshing! I'm not going to enter a water-using-contest with you this week :)

OMG! Never thought I will trigger this and I am very sorry!

Guess it will be better if I stick to my previous routine and only read the great tips from the more experienced players in the future!! At level 85 I am still learning and very thankful for the constant help.

Happy farming and good luck with the event!

Maybe we just got carried away with our wish for every one to be able to finish this unusual event. So we didn't notice, when it was enough advice.
Sorry, squigglegiggle, didn't want to spoil the fun.

I need less than 1000 hankies and only 160 lights which I expect will come with all the poppys I will be growing. Looking good!

Done with crops on both farms, need almost 200 drops on my little farm and almost 100 for this farm. Set my farm back up to normal. Getting better drops already. ;) I know I can get enough drops in the time left with a normal field again.

I was wondering about this and ran off to my market and (brain still not functioning) wondered why I could see them but couldn't make an offer. o_O

Yes, it has been a little disastrous this time round. I can't imagine what went wrong when events have been running smoothly for soooo long now (touches wood, etc, etc). Thank you, oh font of knowledge! (I didn't know how to do multiple quotes until you explained it!):inlove:

I am on the final rounds of both crops and have a decision to make. So please help me fellow farmers. :)

My CAC will run out this afernoon while I am working so do I put out animals and trees to get more drops or do I fill the fields with long term crops and eat another CAC tomorrow?

Both my farms are just a little down on drops, Chevrefeuille needing 387 and this farm needing 324 but I am sure this will alter when I change to other crops or animals - so what will give me more drops folks? :music:

Illy, I personally think you get more drops from crops. Maybe if you put some trees on the periphery some of your essential animals or ones you may need to restock on or chickens or other animals like maybe cows or horses for poo. Just trying to come up with ideas. Hope it helps.

Much appreciated! I cleared all my fields (most unusual!) so I thought I would just go with crops but ... well, I shall decide at the last minute. Just wanted some advice so thanks. I have a couple of hours before I have to go. ;)

illy, 52 hr left, need over 300 is quite tight, it's over 100 per day, I remember Aluntino
had say crops always better than animal stuff. tree is fine for drop but long grow time.
Mir85 is right, to put some trees on field edge.
Grow long hr crop for better drop is frist choice. I'm not sure. if plant 1X1 will get better
    rate or not.
I still need 155 light strings. I got much strings when I grow hazelnut & Bah grow island
crop instead of event crop. the EP yield is far better
