    Arielh,

If you still need 300 lights, then your drop rate is not bad: it's just average; you're on track, but with little room.

There are almost 2 days left (now, with the extension, much more). But you would have done it even in the 2 days.

You should be able to finish your glitter poppies in 1 day. Don't grow them overnight. Instead, switch to longer crops, just watered, overnight. You'll get more than enough drops before the event finishes, provided you can more or less do farming consistently these 2 days (now more than 2).

What a relief this will be to many. I was worried that I still needed 182 lights but now I know that I will get them. :D Could this be the bonus they said they were going to give us? Happy to say I finally got all my lights and finished the event last night :D:D:D

Event crops are finished. Need 252 lights. Yippee can now make pumpkin jam! Pumpkins out now, will plant raspberries for overnight crops so shouldn't be a problem. Good luck to all still working!

Well, I gave up yesterday - decided I couldn't get 7000 poppies so planted broccoli. I now have lots of drops and am replanting poppies again since I have time - very happy!:)

On this farm, I still need 250 drops, but crops are completely done and I'm on my last round of sails. On my other farm, everything is done...just need 150 drops. I'm really glad for the event extension!:)

Finished here! Items are in the clouds and will continue to plant crops for feed until CAC runs out and then back to trees/pens.
Good luck to everyone still working! The extension will make a big difference for a lot of farmers.

That is not bad for one field's harvest. Was it the event crop you harvested?

I am behind on the windmill sails, one more round today, then two more rounds tomorrow. Have 8001 glitter poppies and 5001 sneezewort, so got some extras xDxD Need a hundred more light strings, so will finish tomorrow :)

starxx, I agree with pnp, that's a good amount of drops for one field (assuming you harvested glitter poppies). Look at it this way: You can get three harvests a day of glitter poppies, if you get 19 from each field that would be 19*3*3 =171 which is well above the daily requirement. Since you are behind on drops, this was probably an exceptionally good harvest (still assuming it was glitter poppies and not some longer crop).

How many light strings do you have now? The event has been extended with over a day, so that should help considerably :)

Hi I have 241/300 yes it was the glitter one's.
Still have 6hrs for main one's didn't time them that well as will be in bed by then lol
I have a few on Baharama but not managed to unlock it all yet so not a full field they ready in just over an hr will see how many if any get from there lol

You have collected 440 in a bit more than 4 days, that's less than 110 per day. If you keep the same rate, you can expect to get around 7*110 =770. We need 950 in total.

The most important thing is to not let the farm be idle. Try to get the timing right so that you can harvest and replant as soon as possible after the crops are ready.

I saw in another thread that you weren't sure trophies are. The trophies are rewards for doing the farmers society quests "Farming contest" and "Country fair" (not County fair). I suggest you go to the farmers society and check if you have started either quest. If you have done some levels, you will have the trophies in your inventory together with the items. If you don't have the trophies (or just the first few levels) it is not too late to get them now :D Roses are very cheap in the market and a good way to fill the "Country fair quest".
Put them out (all of them) on the fields before you harvest. Then follow the tips in General Event Strategies.

    starxx,

You must place BOTH of them in each field BEFORE you harvest it. Therefore, you must move them from field to field. What are the %s they show? They must make a difference.

Once you place them in each field, and before you harvest them, just hit F5 (refresh) to be sure the game registers the trophies are in that field.

In the park, they do no good at all :( they only increase the drop rate on the field they are placed. So for optimal use, you should move them around. It is very tiring I know :sleepy: But it is worth to do it for events.

As a long time goal you should try to get the living legend rune (the one at the top of the tree of wisdom). Then you can put the trophies there, and they will work on all fields :D
