So, basically, after reading all of these posts, I've come to a very important conclusion. If you are under Level 40 and don't have the finances to purchase all of the SG, SSG, etc., don't have Baha open, you really cannot complete this quest. It's really aimed for those who are higher up in Level with runes open, the BAHA, artisan products, and money.

    Maybe I'm wrong?

You're wrong, BlazingBlades. You can complete as much of task1, the real obstacle, as you can and move forward to the following tasks. The way task 1 has been devised, indeed, allows players from all levels (and the widest variety of "richness" of their farms) to participate. You can certainly progress a lot. Give it a try. You might even end up being able to finish it and get that nice B_EPs-yielding Cloud Row.

Blaze, I think you are right. The key to finishing events are artisan products, usually carrot apple chutney to be able to grow the huge amount of crops. This time we need products increasing EP, like zucchini apple bread. Players under level 40 can not make these, nor buy them in the market, so events are very hard (maybe impossible) to complete.

But you can still get good rewards for participating in some of the event. By doing the timed quest as best you can, you can get some party spins, harvest helper coupons and secret seedlings. Here is a list of the partial rewards for task one. You don't have to get the full 60 000 EP to move on to the next task. If you complete that you will get an EP giver which will help you level up. You will also get 200EPxfarm level relative to how much EP you need to level up, that will help you lots more than it helps me at level 85.

If you make some effort, read up on strategies on the forum, you will level up quickly and soon be able to complete the events too.

I will offer you an artisan product of your choice, send me an igm or write here what you want. Do you know how the artisan products work?

Blazie, just get as much EP as you can in 24 hrs. growing event crops in whatever space you have open, then move on to the next step. Even if you don't finish the entire event, you can get some good prizes. Don't worry neighbor, I'll send you some things to help out.;)

Is zucchini apple bread affecting the crops even If I plant them in Bahamarama?

Another thing. I think suzy's super grow increases the EP from crops but I don't know for how much...

    Ok, tattle time....

In the midst of no FAQ, jumping around the forum and trying to keep up with the event threads, focusing on EP and getting the necessary seeds for full fields, along with the phone ringing from family with more bad news, I have forgotten to lug those heavy trophies around my farm! On pnp, I have LL and so have gotten out of the habit of moving them but here on BW...*sigh*

Just a reminder for a strategy tip...Move those trophies to every field, every time before harvesting!

I hope my blunder can be overturned. I am counting on it still being early enough to get it right.

The FAQ has now been sorted out. Would have been nice if they'd told us!

Even if you do not finish the first task completely, you will be able to go on with the event. But you will only get partial rewards, meaning somewhat less party spins/harvesters/etc.

Again, if you do have neighbors under level 40 now is a good time to help them out by gifting some EP-Boosters (ZAB, CB, Sweet Rose Jam, Easter Marmelade, Spring Wreath, etc.). And especially as the mentoring system is still screwed up and apparently not important to the dev team (my application as a mentor has been pending for at least a year and a half), send a little note explaining the way they work.

This is at least the second time the "english" FAQ has been released.

But the most important information to me is still missing: the spreadsheet that tells me about the requirements and rewards step by step!!! Just a small list of the total requirements for the event seems to have made it into the FAQ.

So thank you for this additional iota of information, but it would really be nice to have had a full description of the event with ALL the information (especially while introducing a new event mechanic) before the event started.

Mir, thanks for your response re: the event production pens. I will plan on starting them on Sunday morn. Meanwhile, back at the farm... :D
I'm going to concentrate on building up stock of event crops, mainly growing the 8h crop until I'm home on Saturday morn. Then... I hope to REMEMBER to gobble up my buffs, start the timer, take care of the morning harvest, plant well watered 4h crop until the timer is "happy". Then finish the rest of the crops as fits my schedule.

Arrouquelas has a really good post for people with few resources on how to do the timed part of the event.

For lower level players... I always recommend one do as much of an event as possible. They provide much needed STARS, extra EP, and other trinkets useful in completing events. Use things like Suzy's magic dust (it used to sparkle) and SG sparingly for events until you build up some supplies.

This event does not provide any stars as rewards. Bear that in mind if that's what anyone is expecting to get.

Do the items in the park count towards those points? If so, I think I'll wait to harvest them when the timer starts.

No, only EP from the event crops
