Thank you Dienstag, Aluntino, Mir, Mooboy, Puppy , Jennifeirsiegel, CJAT and all that I’ve forgotten to mention! Without this thread I wouldn’t have a hope in hell to understand what the event requires. At least now I have a slight idea of a strategy to use. Thanks fellow farmers!

But it also makes me worried about our Teddy – I hope nothing serious has happened. In the time I’ve known teddy as a Mod teddy’s not been away for this long. My thoughts are with teddy that everything is dandy.

Best of luck and thanks for sharing your info and strategies folks!

I just noticed "Party Sails" in the Market. Is that the thing we're supposed to make with the event prod pens? Do we get to sell the extras?!

Or did I miss something... :D

The event workshop will make windmill sails. If you complete the event you will get three permanent mole workshops, they will make party sails :)

Guess they learned from the textile mill confusion that it is not practical to have an event workshop and permanent workshop looking identical :p I like this solution :)

OK I did miss something then. Must have something to do with that "missing" FAQ. :D
I thought maybe it was a translation error.
Yes, good solution. If there wasn't already a lot of confusion about this-n-that.

Required: At least 772 seeds of each event crop. Starting 24 hour timer before harvesting the 772 eight-hour seeds.
    Using: Water only
Not using: Super-Grow, manure (too expensive), Suzy's super-grow.
During 24-hour: 5 harvests of the 4-hour crop + 1 harvest of the 8-hour crop (the one planted overnight)

Total EP: 49408 EP (no buffs at all)

These are the calculations from puppiesnponies (sorry - have not yet figured out how to quote).
A reminder that you do not need to complete the entire level to be rewarded; you will receive partial rewards depending on how many EP you do end up receiving
With 49408 EP you will receive:
    8 Party Spins
    4 Harvest Helper Coupons
    4 Secret Seedlings

    Thanks!

Other than for drop rate, why is it better to plant on 1x1 plots? Would my EP yield be the same using buffs on 2x2 plots?

You use the 1X1 plots when using PJ or CAC to get the most crops. The ep would be the same no matter what size plot you use.

If you use carrot apple chutney or pumpkin jam it is much better to use 1x1, CAC gives +2 and PJ gives +1 no matter the size of the plot

    With no buffs:
    1 2x2 plot gives 4 crops
    2 1x2 plots gives 2*2= 4 crops
    4 1x1 plots gives 4*1= 4 crops

    With pumpkin jam:
    1 2x2 plot gives 4+1 = 5 crops
    2 1x2 plots gives 2*(2+1)= 6 crops
    4 1x1 plots gives 4*(1+1)= 8 crops

    With carrot apple chutney:
    1 2x2 plot gives 4+2 = 6 crops
    2 1x2 plots gives 2*(2+2)= 8 crops
    4 1x1 plots gives 4*(1+2)= 12 crops

I don't think the plot size matters much to the drop rate. (Yes I am aware of some arguments for 1x1 giving higher drop rate, but those are only valid if you already have a very high drop rate. So for players struggling with getting enough event drops I don't think it makes a difference.)

why, solotime, remember, you don't need to fullfill whole 60000EP
you could get partial done & get some reward, if you don't like to
    torn your whole farm.
Just like me, keep the trees & maybe some stables/workshop
like the chart state on FAQ,
just 12000 EP you could got something good. I think you could get them in 24 hr
if you got no pets, just eat a ZAB will help you much. Let me send you one.:)
BP just want to introduce something new, A time quest ask for EP
    quite interesting.
For criticism, BP always demand great! 60000EP in 24 hr. It's OK for high LV player
or those got plenty CC to buy on market.
Low LV player is quite harsh. But the good is BP give partial reward to
    comfort them.

    Greetings,
Since Zerodegrees "beet me to the draw":):) I shant include the specific requirements/rewards, but instead I'll leave only the details about the 1st Step.

Right now, as you click on View Chores, you'll see 1,5,5,10. Once you start the clock, it'll show how many of that you have earned at any given time. The min. is 10%, which is 6,000 EPs. So for example, when you get to 6K EPs, it will show you 0/1, 0/5, 0/5, 1/10.

The above image: Partial reward for 12,000EPs collected
