Strategy: Farm Express (May 2017)

I have done about 15 trains...junk goes on...junk comes off! No newts and nothing worth keeping
yellow chickens!? lol I will give it a few more rounds then I will be done! On to the next fiasco! lol

Provided you've been playing for some time and have a gained good chunck of stables and workshops, the good thing about the train is that it's 100% free of BB and/or CC donations. In fact it's just swap the one unwanted stable/workshop for another one which *might* be more useful or valuable. It's hard to loose on this one as it *might* give you something brand new too.

After a few runs I became the happy owner of 3 Newt and a hamster workshop in no time. Luck dried out by now but I'll keep that train running as often as possible untill it vanishes.. one never knows what more it'll hand out ..

Congrats everyone on your newts and safes. This farm is very happy with everything received so far - have another 10 to plant, so we'll see.
TCRooster has had about 40 goes to get a newt and come up empty handed. Good job it's free or I'd be very annoyed. However, orange apiaries - getting those by the bucket load!

 

I was beginning to wonder about those Safes too! Wouldn't it be great if that train only circled once or twice with your new cargo instead of waiting an hour? It's just a pain in my you-know-what

 

Congrats everyone on your new workshops and stalls (I was lucky with the mystery I and have 3 newts but so far no safe). Done about 30 train trips thus far but not giving up on that safe!... I'll let that train do the rounds until the event ends

 

Extremely euphoric about my harvests

Decided to harvest all 16 mystery cargos at one go after the frisbee dog event. Here are my results

1 x Safe Factory
1 x Pink Donkey
2 x ladybuy

1 x red fish
1 x red chameleon
1 x bear yellow
1 x skunk
1 x orange donkey
2 x orange chicken egg farm
1 x orange ostrich egg farm

 

I have 3 newts, several pinks, 4 perfumeries, No safe.

Love this event.

Yes hedgehogs...thats what they are called right?

 

No Pink stables on this farm - mostly orange - but I have been lucky to get 2 newts and 4 Ladybirds. Also got some Skunks, 2 Swans and a Stork Love this event!

I really enjoyed this event and was extremely pleased with my results. I put mostly yellows on the train and anything that I had a lot of when I ran out of yellows. I didn't do one every hour, just as and when I was able.

I am not usually very lucky and rarely get the new animals straight off. This time, this farm got a Safe Factory right at the very beginning and another at the end of the event, then I got two Newts at the same time plus I got another two Ladybugs where I only had one before. To add the cherry to the gateau, I got me a Pink Mouse! So colour me very happy!

Still got one "planted" and one coming in on a late train so I don't really mind what they are ... just happy with what I got.

 

Good to hear so many people had good rewards from this event; I wish I could say the same. Exchanged for 40 of each option, and didn't get a single Safe Factory or Newt Den .

Oh well, there's always next time!

 

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that Roedyn. I hope you got some other stables you needed. The Safe Factory seems to be very rare and almost impossible to get.

I may know a farmer who likes Hedgehogs quite a bit.
