Strategy: Firefly Festival - Spring Edition

6 full harvests of the event crop using all four of the allowed fields. Then recommend long term crops for drops.

 

Thank you zerodegrees and everyone else. It will be interesting to see how far I can go. This has always been a hard one for me, so it would be fun see if I can actually finish one. I have an empty cloud row with one giver from the last one, but lucky for me the giver item will work in the new cloud row...so I am off to a good start. I'm growing roses and hibiscus, and ready to nuke some seeds. Good Luck everyone.

 

ok morning harvest 116 spelt, honey dew, 4 magic tree's. not to good rainforest not giving up anything.
i know the rainforest is out of play, it was just more info just in case someone misted it

 

Rainforest isn't included Oldman, for planting or drops ... if you got any from that field, you did good!

This farm (the only one participating) got 120 from animals and trees, other farm which has five fields of trees gave up 103. Both have the LL at maximum capacity. I would have thought the trees would have clinched the most but obviously not!

 

My 1st harvest is 117 drops! 2 were gifts, the 2 main crops I planted were spinach and broccoli with my trees and pen. On baha the over night crop was honey dew. I am happy with this for MY farm. I hope the drops keep coming to us all! Good Luck and have fun! It is a game after all!

Used refined Carnation ..non refined roses... have 20 hour trees around the edges and neon and pink stables in the glade..with 3 magic trees

It looks like the numbers crunched by Zero are incorrect as for each combination is reset each time

for example angora wool is 20 to fill the lantern which makes a total of 140 as to get each combination wool is needed 7 times.

I hope you uderstand what I mean and I hope im wrong.

looks like require 140 Albino bats also to fully complete event.

As Ive already said im not getting too stressed will do what is beneficial to me.

@ phoenixboy12 I think you mean we have to repeat certain rows for each reward. We don't, luckily. Once done it stays lit and you don't need to lit it again to gain other prizes.

 

I decided to do an experiment on my 2 farms. my older farm that had rose hips on mainland fields/melons on baha & the living legend rune completed & my little farm that had not unlocked the living legend rune, used refined carns on mainland fields/melons on baha. Both had same # of trees & stable out. my older farm got 166 drops/little farm got 116 drops using 1x1 fields on both farms w/cac. seems to be worth completing the living legend rune. codyj #44475068

Nah, it's the FAQ creating confusing. I thought the exactly the same thing last lantern event. I refuse to involve my age or any less than par qualities in anything I can blame on the FAQ (sorry mods)

As my farm is only level 62, I used comfort fields with event crop from the last event. That gave a lot more EPs than any of the crops I have available. Used today's 25% buff and got 61 drops I have 3 plots on Baha and (almost ) 3 plots on the Magical Glade

 

Have got Lights out already from another event I didn't complete ...have it on Ship wreck bay ...wonder if i could use it in this event and not have to get it

Have a cloud row already with Firefly collector...glow berry preserves...let there be Lanterns and ....4 flares... which looks like lights out has taken the place of

 

if you're going CR, it would come along regardless. Unless I remember wrong and CR isn't the all lights on prize.
