Strategy: Firefly Festival - Spring Edition

I'm restocking a bit before the cac runs out, and then I shall put out birds and the bees - flower and the seed....

LOL Nellie, they were the absolutely useless event crop for the Recyclomanic event. Only give 20 EV (or whatever it's called!). I have no idea why they have them! But I only have 5 so you must have planted them instead of the Glowberries!

 

finished with both events.
have not grown the starflowers. They went straight into the recyclomat and 5 hours later again. only 200 EV worth, but have done that a few times, saving a bit of my barn-EV
Starflowers are great for the lower level players, who don't even have 4hour crops at all.

got the CR giver for surprise row and 2 goldenchain trees. Saved all additional coins for when the items change in May.
Started the recyclomat with just 6 coins in the barn.
Now I have 381 coins!!
And again 72 batteries
I don't want to throw anything into that recyclomat anymore, but wasting the batteries would be stupod too, wouldn't it?

Congrats to all who finished firefly and reached their goals in the recyclomat.

Wanted also to say thanks to all my lovely neighbors and friends sending me drops. They have helped massively!!!

Ermmm Yes I did illY ...in my haste to finish the event

You can add it to the CAC you have running and time will go up..Have just done that to my CAC i have running


Did a few goes in the cyclo mat ....had 129 coins to start with ....donated JUST batteries ...NOTHING from my barn and made enough coins to buy the 50x barnyard bill for 250 coins
And have 32 batteries left and 61 coins

 

I was in a quandary (no change there then!) - I need one full and one partial harvest to finish, and only have CAC up to about 10.00 tomorrow so do I start another CAC or can I wrap this up with the current CAC?

So I have decided to set out 50 comfort fields with all the usual nuking stuff and do the partial harvest tonight, put the last lot of event crops in overnight and then set up my bee hives tomorrow before I go to work in the afternoon. Gives me error time in case I have miscalculated ... which I probably have/will! Anyone see a flaw in this logic - well apart from the Fruit Cake and White Innocence* probably costing more than a CAC!

* Edit, just checked and it is more economical to do what I am doing than start a new CAC tomorrow! Wahoo!

 

I need still thermos flasks... Who has left and want me to help? I will be very greatfull!

Another barn cleaner ...HOW are we suppose to refill it with events going on ...when One event finishes another event starts
We were never given a magic wand

And it's not very helpful to new players in making a barn

Only 2 things i want from that event and they are the giver for the candy row and the Ylang-Ylang Tree...the rest i do not need or want

 

I know it will be said in its own thread, but I totally agree with Nellie I wont and cant attempt any part of this event

 

I finished the Firefly event this morning and have put out my bees.

I was about to fill up my love shack with mammals and bees but when I totted up what was required, I have to confess that even I am considering giving Magic Memories a miss. To make 220 badges - makes 440** PF! *

A couple of EP givers, a couple of coloured pens and some trees (for which we need the fruit to do the event) for all those animals and products ... and PF!

I will be going for the Cupcake Surprise and probably little else.

Think I'm off to Market to sell some bees.

I MAY be doing the same Illy it has both of the things i would like

But my animals and products aren't that brilliant in numbers ...have been getting my fruits and crops up when i had time


Then I will use the timeout from the event to make my barn stronger

Wonder if this event includes the Bahamama barn as well
LOL Illy ...maths isn't my strongest subject ...even the calculater confuses me
I don't have to do maths in day to day life ..have 2 accountants in the family to do that

Please note my edit of my previous post - multiplication not my strong point, even the easiest of sums catch me out!

 

is the firefly event ending at 8am eastern time? The event timer is stating we only have one hour! Event post states we have until 1400 cet time which would be 8am eastern. Need those last two fields - really don't want to buy anything.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Thank you, event timer is stating 1 hour and that was at 6am est. I will be able to finish it.

 

The event timer shows whole hours but if you hover over it (if you have tool tips activated), it should show the exact time left.
