You can thank my insomnia for acting up again. xD:cry: I'm usually asleep when the FAQs get posted so I probably won't be on early enough to do these strategy threads when I get my sleep schedule back on track.

Thank you! :inlove: I added a link to your very helpful post near the end of the Event Basics section. I can add an extra link under the Useful Links section too, if you want. :)

P.S. They made some changes to the layout for the 10th playfield so the link to the image of the old version no longer works. ;)

    I take it you're not a sticker fan. xD:p

Assuming you get 9 star coins in each and every game, you would need 103 footballs, which means:

    36,050 white soccer buds
    36,050 black soccer buds
    3,090 rubber band balls.

If you convert all 5 fields to 1x1 plots and use CAC, you would need 12.5 harvests of white soccer buds + 12.5 harvests of black soccer buds, not to mention a daily average of 515 drops.

That's just under 101 hours (4 days and 5 hours out of the 6 days allotted for this event) to grow the necessary crops with water, leaving you with only 43 hours to grow longer crops in order to get 3 times the drops needed for a typical event. And that's assuming there is zero idle time on the farm.

TL;DR: Unless you use lots of super-grow, getting everything in the shop isn't even close to being doable.

Edit: Forgot to factor in water. Watering the event crops will save you about 25 hours (water brings the time down to 101 h from 126 h) - a huge difference, although I don't think it's big enough to change my opinion on whether getting everything in the shop is doable in the time allotted.

Wow Zero I admire your effort in working out the figures. Also not forgetting others who take the time to make it easier for us.

So if thats the case if only 18 hours of free time left its going to be 2 fields for growing event crops and other 2 for everyday farming I need to restock. So will look at items that I need

at time of writing only 2 hours left to go. Dont hit harvest button

Thanks phoenixboy12. :) The math part only takes me a few minutes, it's the putting my thoughts into words that I have trouble with. :p

Also, I forgot to include water in my calculations so it's actually 43 hours of "free time". ;)

First harvest, mainly animals/production pens and trees yielded 186 Rubber Band Balls! :inlove:

Now, will this rate be upheld with 4 and 6 hour event crops ... it would be nice! :inlove:

    Good Luck everybody!

184 drops from first harvest. I mainly want the CR & it's givers. Then the PF, sticker, pens and trees. I'm not really counting on getting 9 coins every game so figure I will grow till I can't take it anymorexDxD Nellie, I always eat my CAC at the beginning and use PPP so I don't have to worry about it;):p

    you and me both xD
But I rather be an idiot when it comes to reading FAQ than to mill, so I'm still happy.
So far I've 203 rubber bands, that is with a second harvest just now. Not sure I'm goin awwww ooohhh beautiful over this, but the black ones does make a nice change from all the pink-ish, yellow others.

I'd like the CR and the givers, and I'd like a break from grow-throw events. Hmmm, tricky, very trickyo_O

Saving my harvester couponss for moonlight mania. If I do this event, it will just be an aside, along with moonlight. Prizes are OK, but without harvester subscription, its just not worth my time.

I don't have any harvest coupons. So did Comic 1 in Comic Library and had to choose between 6 powerfeeds or 3 hours Farm machinery. So went for power feeds and did the comic librar - Comic 1 and got suzy's supergrows. Therefore once again did the comic 1 and got 3 hrs farm machinery. Tomorrow I might first redeem 24 hrs coupon from the event prize first and use it.

And if we have farm machinery running too.

Zerodegree, I edited my post with the corrected picture. I leave the decision making to you.:)

Finishing today's work with 281 drops and going to sleep. Put out black roses, carnations & honeydew melons out in 1x1 plots. Tine to go to sleep in another 1/2 hr.

After the end of the last event I planted rose hips on all 3 main fields, honeydew on the 2 Baha fields, for each of my farms.
    Farm 1: 161 drops (4 Howies, 2 Magic trees)
    Farm 2: 158 drops (0 Howies, 8 Magic trees)
    Farm 3: 141 drops (0 Howies, 6 Magic trees)

Lower drop requirements, lower drop rate...
I didn't get more than 38 crops per field on any of the fields. After I think I have enough event crops I might switch to 2x2s for drops. It will probably cost me a few drops but I don't want to use up all my coupons.

The soccer event is one of my least favorite because it's very time consuming to sit and wait for an opening. Takes too many brain cells, and I get distracted easily, for few rewards. But of course I cannot easily pass up an event so... I don't feel like looking it up but I doubt that I got 9 SC for each game because I usually take the path of least resistance. I'd rather have a few SC than zero SC. I've always been so busy w/ RL since they started the soccer events that I've never studied the diagrams before, just jumped in there and started firing off balls. I was looking at the diagrams in the FAQ second post and for a minute thought we could get the starter 3 SC twice then remembered it's either/or. I always go for the easy 3 SC at the start of the game, foolish not to. I usually go for the PF, and BEP. Not too excited about CC, pheromones or tree mulch.

I'll probably go for the CR and PF first. I'm thinking about taking the 24h harvester early on, but concerned I might end up short of SC for the CR and givers.

    Good luck, y'all! :)

So Howies do make a difference...often wondered if they did

    Farm 1: 161 drops (4 Howies, 2 Magic trees)
    Farm 2: 158 drops (0 Howies, 8 Magic trees)
    Farm 3: 141 drops (0 Howies, 6 Magic trees)

Hi every body don't do what I did in game 1 I didn't realize that was a 3 point coin on the left
side. Went for the team player on the right. So I got 7 coins instead of 9.
