Strategy: Football Fever

I have no strategy once I hit that field other than to get prizes while getting the most coins I can When I try to outwit the other players, I always get zapped. Better safe than sorry I still have no howies but I am pleased with the drops I get.

 

I find I have to really stare at the players in the soccer event, sync my breathing before I fire off the ball. Very time consuming for me and if I'm tired... zzzzzzzzzzzzz! LOL!
But I do it any way... lol... *shrug*

Howie's seem to make a slight difference but... I'm not sure it's a worth the trouble.
If you normally get 100 drops per field PER DAY. You MIGHT get 4-6 more with a Howie. Howie's only effect the field they are on so you have to move them to get the most benefit from them. Too time consuming for me.

There have been events where my third farm has the most initial drops. So why didn't the Howie's kick in then?

For the Viking Saga:
Farm 1: 54 axes, 33 remaining drops; minus 2 magic trees * 6 days = 15 remaining drops
Farm 2: 53 axes, 92 remaining drops; minus 8 magic trees * 6 days = 44 remaining drops
Farm 3: 54 axes, 3 remaining drops; minus 6 magic trees * 6 days = 53 axes, w/ 17 remaining drops. Important to note that I did mess up at least one harvest on Farm3 by forgetting to harvest a field or two.

So maybe I got one extra axe... Not worth getting excited about. On the other hand... if you had 10 Howie's and moved them, bigger difference. But I'd rather have that space for growing the pesky crops.

I finished the event. That's all I care about.

I feel it's far more important and effective to practice trophy and time management if one wants to get drops and finish events.

 

Have completed LL and don't find much difference in drops to when i hadn't ...to be honest i think all these things that suppose to give more drops are a load of tosh
Have 4 Howies I harvest 4 crops spaces to put them on before I harvest the rest of the field ...when i have harvested the rest of the field ....then put the four spaces back to put more crops in

 

The LL rune doesn't improve drops Nellie, it only works so you don't have to move the trophies around. Howie, imo just isn't worth the hassle. Never bothered much about him when I had him, actually I think he ended up in the park along with the rest of the turtle boyband. Now I don't have him, and I don't miss him. But 30% (both trophies) vs no trophies, trust me, that you would have noticed. It's not so long since I was there.

I haven't made up my mind what to do with this event yet, so I grew onions over night, and back ones in Bahama. Blacks ones today as mostly out and about. Tomorrow is a new day so who knows. I might try one game and see what I think before making my mind up. I'd like the CR just cos there is one, but I still have an once sanity in me.

 

At the 24 hr mark I have a little over 15,000 white buds and just shy of 5 fields of black buds. 448 drops. I used a 24 hr coupon so I wanted to get the most out of it Now back to manual harvesting Getting the LL Rune opened and putting my trophies in there is probably the happiest day of my farming No more moving those trophies

 

Wish they would have machinery sales for events that's when it's needed ...manual harvesting is hard work ...I used my machinery last event .

And I don't want RSI

 

I've been asked if this event is worth the effort.

My attitude towards events is to always try as much of an event as time and energy allow. There is almost always some easy pickin's. This time we can get PF, trees, stables, etc. If it doesn't work out... no biggie. Just switch to Plan B. Or Plan C. Or... I realize some ppl have zero interest in events. No biggie. Personal choice.

For me this event requires a lot of concentration to study the speed of the players near the goal so I can fire past them. I can't do that when I'm tired or... revved up. I need to be wide awake and... zen like. Become one with the game. LOL! It might be easier for others with better reaction time.

 

24hr's 454drops, 2890 black's 2500 white's, island habanero 2 field's the other 3 will split the crop's for now.

 

24 hrs in, I have 395 drops. 3,003 Black buds planted on 3 Mainland fields with trees and a few pens.
2,448 white buds planted on the islands 2 fields also with trees and a few pens. Good Luck everyone!

Now have put the white out to catch the black up

I managed to get enough drops and crops to play 14 games and make it to 120 coins, which happens to be enough to buy all wonder stables and wonder trees. Reached my goal for the event but as I still have event crops on the fields and drops will continue I'll get the PF and Party Spins as well before switching to regular farming. With the amounts required and being on lvl 324 on BAHA already I don't feel an urge to go for the CR and it's givers.

The moment I did the first harvest of event crops and noticed the drop rate was set quite low again (about 10 per field for an 8 hours crop) I dedicated a single field for long time crops during the day. Not my usual farming but it worked out well as I didn't have to wait a single minute for more drops!

I noticed some shots in the game are quite tough so here's a tip for those who struggle with shooting: aim and hold your mouse button down untill you see an oppertunity to shoot. It saves little clicking time and makes the shots a bit easier.

ok new plan, i've lost count on drops went to the field with 508 drops, i have 65star's 3500 whites and 800 black's in inventory, with3
fields of blacks coming soon. black's on 3 fields after morning harvest of habanero 2 fields island will give60 drops then pound island with the whites until 8pm then drop habanero overnight, and keep that going i will see how that works. might change again will see

 

I have good news that Farmerama has increase the Drop Rate of Rubber Band Balls...

So Far have got 144 Star Coins. There are 10 Different Mini Games from these 10 Mini Games you can get up to 6 Power Feeds and 3 Party Spins. As well as Power Feeds and Party Spins you can purchase in the Store using Star Coins...

I am at a Level that feels same as Habalala. As another Cloud Row giving TEP i do not always harvest my Cloud Rows all the Time just too much excessive clicking. I did use the CR Harvester but it not worked to my liking as it not worth the BB using this feature....

As i Manually Pick which CR i want to Active only Buffs or Special Rewards CR mostly !! I am not kean on Cloud Rows that gives TEP now as i got way too many Golden Bananas 587 of them just do not know what to do with them. This is reason why i have no urge to level up Bahamarama to gain extra 5 GB just doing it at my own pace....

As SuzeeRabbit pointed out some farmers skips events completely. I do event regardless as it helps to gain PF, SG, SSG,Party Tickets, Wonder Stables, Wonder Trees as it Helps to complete Quests, MM Events, or Make CC in the Markets etc...

Most of Mini Games have proven to be bit trickier than Previous Events. Do not rush it, hold down the mouse Button, then let go when you get open window or your opponent players... i have managed to get 9 Star Coins per Mini Game

 

I have nearly half the necessary Coins (152 of the required 331)for the CR and EP items to fill it after two days so I think I will get enough to get those. But I will decide later when I see my total Coins.

Edit: 3 more games, 2 gave me 9 Coins each and the last one I blew it and got 3 Coins. So the total Coins stands at 173.

I haven't been very methodical in my planting but thanks to the increased drop rate (I think it has made a difference) I seem to be lagging in the crop department and not drops. Always favourable.

Neither has my football tactic been anything other than take the path of least resistance to get the Coins, only going for other prizes if I fall (quite literally!) over them!

Out of 19 games, I have hit 9 Coins 15 times, 8 on the first go cos I mistook 5 for 6 coins (go figure!) and three times when I used up all my tries and had to be content with the initial 3 Coins.

I hate when I have to make a choice but I will probably go for the CR and all its accessories - the other items are all consumable and soon used but the CR is there always.

My logic ... may not be trustworthy!

 

Isn't it odd that the Drawing the Line deco item giving 7600 XP cost the same 80 star coins as Feeling Snooky that gives 1900 XP

 

Feeling Snacky is a 1x1 giver and Drawing the Line is a 2x2. If you look at them as EP/plot, they are the same.

 

I just played 15 games and my strong recommendation is don't wait to play a bunch of games at once For now I will build up my coins and then decide what to get but I'm really thinking it will be the CR and givers. I got 3 coins for 1 game bc I just had to have that 1 little PF Was it worth it? Not really Shall have to control myself better

 

This is the dullest game since the laggy valentine. Why you guys love it so much is beyond me, I'm bored out of my wits. Having to do 80+80+80+80+11= 331 coins, with an average of 9 coins per game it will take me 37 ! games. 37 games, and I was fed up after 3. I need to have a board meeting with myself, is this really worth it?

 

can anyone tell me if the 24 hr harvester in the misc is coupons or if it starts as soon as you pick it?? please thank you
