Thank you, I love your poem and your picture, david. It makes my day happier.xDxD:inlove:xDxD

I will reveal the whole strategy of gradually that I will use here. Everyone is welcome to give comments and suggestions about my strategy for improving the event drops.
The reason why I will reveal my strategy is to learn together and to prepare for an event like this in the future.

    The night before the event:
Planted carnations on 1x1's of all plots on mainfield, glade, and meadow. Planted the highest level trees on all plots of bahama island.

The day when the event begins:
Ate CAC, FC, WI, PPP, and activated 2 CRs that improving the event drops, a Flowers CR, and a Chestnut CR before harvesting.
Under the influence of Flowers CR for 24 hours, replanted carnations on 1x1's with watering, manure, and SG. Planted Hibiscus with watering, manure, and SG.

The day when Flowers CR run out:
Planted Osier with watering, manure, SG, and SSG on 2x2's. After enough seeds, replanted Osier with watering, manure, some SG, and some SSG on 1x1's on both mainfields and bahama island.

The fifth day when Flowers CR is ready for reactivating:
Did the same like the day when the event begins for an half day. And planted Osiers for the rest of time.

The final day / final moments:
Chestnut CR is ready for reactivating. If an emergency, I would use instant roses.

Note: Both mill on mainfield and bahama will work simultaneously.:)

    David, enjoyed your poem.

SillyGuy, your style of open disclosure of intent is quite thought provoking.

    1. Regarding advance preparation for drops: When the event goes live, will you achieve more drops by having 48 hour or even 36 hour production pens ready for harvest on the mainland?
    2. Is the placing of chopstick, carpet factories and the balance (if any) trees out on Baha initially better in order to increase drops as the event goes live?
    3. Once Baha is harvested (however you determine), would you expect there to be an increase in drops with trees (using turbo mulch) more beneficial while you are generating seeds on the mainland?
    4. Will the use of comfort fields benefit you in any way during the event?
    5. Is the use of instant roses efficient to use immediately after the initial harvest in order to use the drops generated with the intent of having your mill(s) running as soon as possible?
    6. At this time, how much super grow do you expect to use during the entire event? (I'll ask for an update to the question after the event is all over.)
    7. If completion of an event step using BBs is available, is your advance intent to use that option?
Regardless of what you do, you have a well thought-out initial strategy.

I'm in on this and going to give it a try in the Top-1000.

    My resources:
    5 Howies
    3860 SG
    900 SSG
    1095 Turbo mulch
    Flowers CR
    Chestnut CR
    2 CRs improving drops
    Instant roses
    4 Magic trees

Drops can be bought and I can't compete against that...I am not willing to buy for BBs.

I am willing to use all my resources but how do I get the best of it?

    Here are my thoughts:

Before the event: Plant carnations on 3 fields ready to be harvested when it goes live. Baha: a mix of Ginger, orange chopsticks, red pandas, red carpet factory, red Bikini boutique and the best xxl trees I got. I am not sure if it's the best thing to do putting out stables cause they can only yield 1 drop but it might be better than ginger - I don't know.

Event live: Eat CAC, FC, WI, PPP and activate my CR. Plant Osier using manure, SG, SSG till I got enough for all fields (1*1) and do instant Roses at the same time and plant them over night. Ginger on Baha.
Next morning grow Osier till I drop on all fields.

When CR ready to activate again I'll do instant roses on the mainland and Osier on Baha.

This is as smart as it gets by me:p. I know that other are much smarter and I can use any good advise :)

    Good luck to everyone:)

Hello broke, I love how you predict this competition is running.

I tried to give the best answer based on the chart that I have. I have done some experiments on the same event in the past (the result may be different for each person). Hope this answer according to what you want to hear.

Based on the effectiveness of plot usage and the time required for the drops, the chart shows that:
seeds that grow less than 5 hours < low level of trees < animal stalls that mature less than 7 hours < seed that grow 5-10 hours < animal stalls that mature 7-14 hours < animal production pens that mature less than 36 hours < medium level of trees < animal stalls that mature more than 14 hours < high level of trees < animal production pens that mature more than 36 hours < seeds that grow more than 10 hours.
the result may be different for each person but I stick with mine.

Yes, the chart shows it too. XXL high level of tree + using turbo mulch is better yielding more drops than seed that grow more than 10 hours.

Maybe yes or maybe no. Depending on the real-life situations.

Along harvest the crops without lag time, we would get a lot of drops. Generally, regular crops yield more drops than event crops. I think it is unnecessary ASAP.

I expected nothing at all to use super-grow. ROFL xDxD. But I'm willing to use all my super-grows wisely. Perhaps 1500 super-grows (excluding the instant roses).:wuerg::wuerg:

Yes, why not? But I'm afraid that only purchasing baskets and Balls of Yarn from the shop at this time.xDxDxD No using BBs is available for skipping an event step.:cry:

Meba and SillyGuy I love the thought you both have given to this event strategy, especially the clear definition of your available resources. I have two additional questions:

    1. Are you prepared to spend 3,100,000 ccs for water and manure during the life of this event?
    2. Do you realize that all of your super grow, even if combined, may be used in less than two days?
Two reminders: (1) Please be certain your game has been reset after the event goes live and (2) be absolutely certain you have activated CRs and buffs before the initial harvest.

    My event strategy:

To begin a new farm. (accomplished)
To sell poop to the bare walls of my barn throughout the event.
To sell cuckoos and dogs to those wishing to work on their animal trophy during the event.
To acquire more cheap white innocence.

Enjoy your travels towards your goals.

You can see mine too [IMG] and as you see I just hate being broke. All the nice things you're teaching in "How to make ccs" and this is what you get - a naughty student not willing to be broke:(xD or maybe I am just not getting it right :p

I am willing to spend. My concern is that there will be no manure on my mkt-.-

As for the SG I figure I will use around 1500 on the instant roses the first day of the event if I manage to do so - not being disturbed by RL and then some hundreds on the event crop. That will leave me around 2000 SG for the rest of the event.

I am also aware that there may be many players with far more SG than me and maybe willing to spend real money too. That will through me right in the gutter :wuerg: and though I would hate ending up there it will also be okay:)

I earned my SG during events, quests and from my turbo trees - no big deal.

I will also be dependent on the drops I get from friends and neighbors - max drop each day helps increase my chances - hope I have been a nice girl:music:
    Thanks for your input Broke:)

I agree SillyGuy so tense here - lets do the Hokey Brokey and chug some punch:p

I thought might be I can try for Top 1000. Participation is the motto as Olympics say. But I was very tired and couldn't even do my regular harvest. Going to start it now - the rabbit pens - from the last event. So missed out comfort filed & carnation - less drops - What shall I do ? - No problem - just going to give it a try - Missed MM too - only 7 hours.

Wait a moment ! I am not going to harvest my long term trees/pens which have matured. Nor planr carnation in ordinary fields. I am going to try pink, red & orange stables which gives you more than 200 EPs. Carnation on comfort field gives you 259.6 EP & with refinements takes 46.22 (hours.mins ) to grow. So let me try something else. Off to implement my plan. All the best to every one.

Thanks for the tips & calculations for top 1000 - SillyGuy, farmer_broke.

Just 2 questions - What do you think will be a hindrance to Top 1000 - the drops or the crops ? Which one have to concentrate more ?

I am considering trying for Top 1000. My roses are not 'instant' but rather approx 35 min. I will start off with carnations and ginger and the usual buffs and cloud rows to build seeds. Utilize both mills. I have several thousand super grow (thanks to some quests).

Concerns for me include that there are players with instant refinements, more Super grow and are willing to spend real money on the event and will be able to just turn their farms over faster. I must utilize the resources I have in game. I've never attempted anything this aggressive in the game before and not sure if this puppy can play with the big dogs but go big or go home.:)

I'll be happy just to finish the event. :)Ages ago I spent money and gave endless resources to try and get on the Top 1000 list. Never again, it took me a long time to recoup my crops etc. Though really you don't recoup anything, that time has gone.:(

hahaha SillyGuy, you know I know you have the ccs and access to more. xDxD I just want to see if you're prepared to spend them because I'm prepared to take them. xDxD I see Meba is willing to spend hers. Now I must just find that farm on your markets. hahahaha Meba I checked one farm a moment ago and found manure prices already over 200. No manure on a market seems to be a legitimate concern.

Wonderful attitude you and Meba both have. Agree, there will be no regrets ..... unless you do something wild on that initial harvest!

My friend I see you have thought your strategy through. Tension should begin to pass as you both slowly and deliberately execute your plans.

SillyGuy mentioned "..the result may be different for each person" when answering a question referring to drops. Last event, I did pay a little attention to drops on a couple of baby farms. What I will say will not change your strategy. I noticed that the drop frequency of using crops and animal pens seems to be directly tied to farm level.

Meba, excuse me, I can't resist playing with SillyGuy. xDxD Test? Given that you did not answer the bonus question: "2. Do you realize that all of your super grow, even if combined, may be used in less than two days?" ... I can fairly only award a score of 105% of the total.

    @12ss12

At the moment, all of the event appears doable with proper resource and time-management. The major hindrance to the TOP 1000 appears to be drops. If going to the TOP 1000 race then I would constantly be aware of drops. Assuming one is able to grow the crops, one must be aware of mill production. Without the mill product one is unable to play with the cats.

If indeed drops are an issue, drops may be purchased with RL funds in baskets an unlimited number of times. The worse case is that the event turns into a RL funds spending battle. Regardless, farming skills and efficient use of resources available are still required in order to adequately produce the event crop.

That's what I'm afraid of, but at least I'll try my best.
No one ever knew before trying it, especially the mechanism of this event is the first time implemented in the TOP 1000 competition. Absolutely TRIAL and ERROR test!

    Hello everyone,

A bad news for me. I just checked my email and found an emergency call to work out of town next Wednesday for 2 days which was sent in yesterday by my boss. A great apology that I have let you down on me.
Too bad, it is not my lucky day. I decided to pull out of the TOP 1000 competition due to a call of duty. And I want to thank you very much for the support, advice, and encouragement that you have given.
Maybe I will do to feed 100 cats or more before I would go, but not to compete.

My request is no longer needed in SOS thread. Please give some drops to others who need it, especially PNP, Mooboy, and Meba who will enter the competition.
Best of luck to you all !

Once again I apologize for the mess that I've done.

    Yours faithfully and lovingly,
    SillyGuy
