Strategy for Neon Stables Event

I think you should go for the cloud row Arielh After all it's a cc giving cloud row Now decide what you want: few days good business profit? or a life long cc giver???

 

Will finish on this farm in about one hour (just waiting for the last 40 bunnies) then I will be building up my stocks again. Prices are starting to fall so it all depends on if that changes whether I sell or keep.

Chevrefeuille will take a little longer, finished level 5 for goats and chickens but rabbits are a little behind. I have filled two fields and most of the Glade with rabbits now and will do the same as above once I finish the event in a few days.
All this was achieved from my existing stock (though I vaguely remember buying some speckled goats to save my base beasties ) ... and without using one drop of powerfeed!

I've put as many excess higher level breeding animals on the market ... tentatively as I think I have missed the boat due to working yesterday while the short BB event was on.

Is it my imagination or are the prices for breeding animals extremely high across the board?

Good luck to all those still going for it, teetering on the brink of whether to finish or those selling anything and everything!

 

I teetered on the brink for a while but now have all the Dec items on Shipwreck and will stop now. With my pets (5 owl, 5 crow and dragon) the BEP will be excellent. So no cloud row for me but am building up my stock again.

 

My problem is keeping away from the market and selling stuff I need to finish the event! Sometimes forget which farm I am in!

I never teeter, just falling headlong into the events and coming up smelling of ... roses? Well, sometimes.

Edit 1: Well, my bete noir (mathematics) has got me once more. Illy miscalculated and is about 500 rabbits short. So I will continue producing them until I have enough ... or maybe do some breeding at the weekend to speed things up ... or buy some breeding animals to speed things up to supersonic level ... or ... or ...

Edit 2: So who moved that decimal point? Come on, own up! I needed 5 rabbits, not 500! I don't know what I did but I finally bought 5 rabbits so I can finish on one farm and concentrate on the other one without getting confused (possibly!).

 

I should have stayed away from the game until this event was over once I got the neon pens. I gave in and went for the cloud row. I couldn't resist. What's wrong with me?!?!??????!!!

Here I am one minute saying telling all I'm done and happy... the next I'm trying to figure out what I'd have to part with... then I'm totally donating! I don't even know when I changed my mind

Now that another BBD and PF Sale have been announced what do the market guru's say to the prices for Breeding Animals.
Are they going up, staying the same or dropping in value? Will we have the same frenzy leading up to and on the first day of the Neon Stables?
I found it fun with all the strategy bandied about on this thread and took advantage of completing the event and making some nice CCs and buying other items to complete FSQs.

 

Curse FOCD made me get the cloud row too and am still making silly cc's on roasters.

 

I'm am not a market gurus but I would say sell now - prices are, if not peaking, still a guaranteed really good deal. This is only day two of a six day event. Spoken as someone who had to have her neon stables yesterday. So lovely, and yet so stupidly overpriced. I am currently "gambling" that I can sell now, to the bare walls as advised, and get the rest later. I am 11 million ccs up and feeling a little more confident about this. Not cured of FOCD but trying to be.

I sold down to bare bones during the market frenzy yesterday and I'm glad I did as today my market has been flooded with breeding animals. The base animals are still elevated in price but have come down quite a bit and there are a lot of offers. I'm in restocking mode now but still keeping an eye out if the prices do a big jump during the BBD. I don't anticipate it with as many breeding animals that are on the market right now but you never know.

 

In my mkt, on the contrary, prices of relevant bred animal categories had gone sharply up, by at least 50%. These prices will probably stay so -very high or even higher- as a result of what I call "the anxiety effect"; at least, till tomorrow. So, watch your own market to assess your own case.

Another thing to watch: the effect of anticipated buying. Many have guessed -same guess as mine- that the neon thing is the last new trend and it shows in markets what animals people expect will be next: (in my mkt) sheep, ducks, turkeys, pigs, horses. Prices of lower level bred animals of those 5 base animals have increased 100% or more, depending on the case. I'm making zillions out of this frenzy.

 

The Reason is why these relevent breeding animals are sky high as The First 8 Hour BBD had Ended, Many Farmers do not bothered to do much Breeding outside BBD. There other reason is they are holding onto Next BBD which will run for much longer.

It is this One will Bring those Breeding Animal Prices down a bit as Eventually will have influx of surplus Breeding Animals in the Markets. But The Other Reason why prices are high as there is shortage of Farmers Selling Breeding Animals, perhaps they are hold stock of these Breeding Animals Hoping to sell at higher price

Some of the Animals have gone up in Price as there is load of CC to Be Made. Those are Willing to Make Additional Neon Stables will Keep Prices Higher than normal for this Reason as it seem to Started new Craze Frenzy wanted Neon Stables From Now ON !!!

 

On the contrary again, in my mkt prices of relevant bred animals categories over the levels useful for the Neon Stables event are stable -same as before the event- and even lower or much lower -due to a badly timed and somewhat dumb over-competition-, especially level8s, the ones needed to build additional neon stables. I've already grabbed 3 of them, at 40% lower than normal price. Which, needless to say, I won't use to build neon stables.

 

Interesting. What I'm finding sold out or up in price on relevant animals are the base animals themselves. Usually in the day or so leading up to a BBD I scoop up some other basic animals for pretty low prices. Not this time though. Horses, pigs and turkeys seem to the be the most popular choices with ducks and sheep running a close second.

I'm still to new to gamble in the market in the high stakes area of breeding animals. Best I can do is watch and try to learn my market at this point. So far it seems to be a whole bunch of players totally lead by Aluntino's "anxiety effect" including those that are listing animals for the most ridiculous prices ever. Even at the peak of the frenzy in my market yesterday there was a definite cut off point on the crazy that farmers did not buy above.

 

Mooboo & Aluntio - I keep a minimum of 1,000 of all the breeding animals. Do you really think this is the best time to sell - say 1/2 of my stock? If I sell them, then I won't have them & I like to hoard, but on the other hand as you'all have taught me. I can sell high now and wait till the price drops again and then re-buy to maintain my minimum numbers of a 1,000 while making a profit.

My other quandary is what do with my 40 Mill CCs that keeps on growing. I have been selling my Cocoa slowly. I still have about 200 and they have gone up to about 30K. I can't believe my good fortune.

The only thing I really want to buy is 2 Desert Camels and 2 Wild Geese so I can make Pink stables to complete my Pink collection of all the Pink stables. The only problem is that none are available on my market. Boo-hoo. What's a rich girl to do? This is very new to me. I have never been a rich girl before. HeHeHe

 

I am thoroughly loving this event! I've made more CCs in the last day than I've made the entire time I've been playing, almost tripling my account in a matter of an hour or two . If only I could work the real markets that way. Broke must be in heaven!

He ain't happy unless he's broke and the raising inflated prices are causing havoc in Brokedom !!!

 

Sglick....During Breeding Event All Breeding Animals Prices Before and During Breeding Events. But During This Event there is huge under supply of Chickens, Rabbits and Goats in the Markets Forcing Prices to go Sky High The Price of Chickens, Rabbits and Goats has never been sold at such high prices on my Markets Chickens Reached 1400 CC per Chicken, Goats Reached 2300 CC per Goat...But Rabbits have been sold for high as 3200 CC Each

I have been Making a Killing Selling Rabbits for 3200 CC I have Made 60 Million CC so Far it is Still Climbing lol It is very hard to buy Top Level Breeding Animals Especially Newer Breeding Animals. If there is none in your Market then there is nothing wrong to buy up good Bargain buys of Level 6 or Level 7 using a Breeding Motel Might Get or will Get Level 8 Breeding Animal this works well if you manage to snap any Bargain Buys

It is good to hear from Farmers to be Rich having this much CC has it Perks If i was you sell most of the Animals or Breeding Animals while prices are high. When the Frenzy had stopped and Event had Ended you can always buy these back at much cheaper price I always do this

I can not understand why you can think that this market "the anxiety effects" trend will stop after the event is over.

I'm not a market guru, but I can see which way this game will be ongoing, because I was an opportunist.
The Event FAQ very clearly stated :

It is unfortunate if you sold all of your colored animals (chickens, rabbits, goats) of your barn, and then you will realize if you also need it later. Did not you intend to build another Neon Stable Upgrades in the future?
And this trend will also continue to run even if this event will end later. Prices on base animals may be down slightly, but demand for breeding animals will always increase. Tell me when the price will go down as before this event took place?

Or I may be wrong here.

Anyway, the decision is yours !!!
